Steve
Hallo!
Have nobody the same Poblemms?
Steve
Both GPRS WEB and GPRS WAP works well on my MDA II
Had some problems with GPRS and MDA I, but with the MDA II everything is OK.
You must unlock GPRS WEB (Hotline or Homepage http://www.telering.at/Content.Node/my-telering/2836.php)
Without that only GPRS WAP works.

2003se upgrade killed mms?!?

Hi all,
I have just upgraded my xdaII to the 2003se edition with no probs. I’ve also installed the Network setting cab from http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13498&highlight=o2+gprs+settings
Now my O2 mms send and receive doesn’t work. I can connect to wap gprs and web gprs but my mms messages download or send?
I’ve now re-installed the network cab 5 times and tried a few different settings from various sites but no luck. And for some reason the o2 site won’t let me have them either?
Any clues? Or is there another cab file somewhere in this huge forum that I can’t see?
Ok..... thanks for looking those who did.
I found the solution in the end. the original o2 mms cab file from the link above was missing the server address info so after more trawling through this gold mine of information i found this file http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=16826&highlight=o2+server+settings which has that info and works a treat!

It does show he has an XDAII on the post, anyway...
I have no trouble with GPRS, other than O2 themselves.
It connects when I access the net, it all works fine.
Did you setup the GPRS connection properly after the upgrade?
pardon me for the configuration, i have no idea how to configure , as some information needs to get from ISP
when i was using WM2003SE, all configuration is automatically installed
so am i suppose to call up my ISP for Information
Call up your GPRS provider that is your cell connection provider.
And ask them for the following details. DO NOT Tell them you have WM 2005. Firstly you're not supposed to have it and secondly they wont know what the **** that is.
Ask for
Access Point Name
Proxies(if they use)
And BTW which operater do u use.
I am from Singapore
My ISP is StarHub
you have their information ?
Call the and ask.....

MMS SETTINGS FOR PHILIPPINES?PARTICULARLY SMART NETWORK

Can anybody here give me the mms settings for smart network?
tnx in advance
As far as I know the Wallaby doesn't support MMS, but I could be wrong or you could find some third party software to support it, but out of the box it doesn't.
Regards,
Neil.

Hi evan_gerard,
Let me know if you already got your mms working on your wallaby. I have mine working using EZWAP and manually configuring Smart's IP address. I'll post the settings here if you need them. Happy new year!

YES MORPH751 pls do help me with the settings, and where can I get ezwap, tnx in a million
Get EZWAP here:
http://www.ccsleeds.co.uk/stuff/ezwap25xda.zip
Thanks to Pete K for the link.
Download and install EZWAP to your wallaby. You need to configure the settings first before MMS and GPRS could work.
As for the settings I'll post them here tomorrow, I documented the procedure and settings (after trial and error) but it's in my home PC. Hope it works for you.
tnx a lot

I think it's the same procedure for Globe. You just need to get Globe's IP address and DNS server addresses. Unfortunately, I don't have Globe's settings. You can probably inquire in Globe centers or it may be available at their website. Hope you enjoy your MMS!
just go to the ftp site check previous posts.. if you need a copy of the cab files (containing mms settings for both smart and globe.. pati sun) just post yer email address and i'll send them to ya.. the wallaby can send and receive mms.. you just need to download the right cab files... im using arcsoft mms composer version 1.6.0.14 and it works perfectly...

HELP on MMS Diamond
I'm sure since it's all Windows the settings are either the same or similar right?
I have a diamond, and every time i receive a MMS picture i get charged 10 pesos for GPRS internet connection. Called smart, they said Receiving MMS is free and it is my phone that has a problem. They think that the MMS triggers something, a program maybe, that connects to the GPRS every time i receive MMS pictures.
THey said they cannot fix my phone since they do not carry distribute HTC.
What do i do? Any ideas please
I'm using HTC Fuze here in the Philippines. I just used the NetworkWizard.cab I downloaded. Run it, reboot, and everything works.

MMS Network Connection

Hi Senior Member,
Need advice is there any way to add MMS network on Connection option at WM6.
Currently WM5 have it to configure MMS.
Regards,
Yes I just set up an MMS connection my Windows Mobile 6 Star Trek. It will be the same settings you use in WM5, just slightly different menu options.
