If you only had Bluetooth...
With Bluetooth you can use your PC's multimedia as a handsfree device...
Obviously you need to have a Bluetooth enabled phone and PC to acomplish this... Just pair the two devices and the phone will tell you that your PC can be used as a handsfree....

Remote Desktop my phone from PC

Hey everyone. I have a XV6800 with that I want to use as a webcam. I am using Octro to stream live. Sometimes the streams needs to be restarted and I want to do that from work.(Using phone to watch my dogs ) What software can I use to remotely control my phone from my pc? If connecting your ppc to a pc at your hosue is an option you could look into mymobler
http://www.mymobiler.com/
MyMobler is a cool app, it lets you see your ppc screen and control the ppc when it is connected to a pc via activesync.
So you could connect your ppc to your house pc, and then VNC or remote desktop into your house pc from work and control your ppc
Why would you buy a $400+ phone to use as a webcam when you could buy a 20 dollar camera that would do the exact same thing...

Because it's hard to hide the computer it's connected to in a woman's washroom....

So, you are gonna leave your phone at home? That's weird. You can get a $10 webcam, and use your phone to control THAT! I would think you would want your phone with you when you are not at home. What about calls? email? IM?
Verizon never made me return a phone i have where a few buttons dont work(see signature)....so...I cant sell it and activate it bc i am sure verizon has the esn marked . The xv6800 has wifi which means i can have the phone broadcasting without running a 50ft USB cable from my office to my dogs room. I want the camera to watch my dogs...one keeps jumping the dog gate...lol

Need help: transfer fiels via WiFi or Bluetooth...

Hi guys,
I'd like to show the SD of my Wildfire in the Windows explorer of my office pc, and in my Mac, just a pendrive via WiFi and/or bluetooth... is thera a way?
When I've got my old Nokia E52 I really like the feature that I had using bluetooth: when I'm in the office just turn on the bluetooth and I can browse my phone, send/receive sms ecc...
Why I can't do it with Android?
I can't find a service that run in backgroud in order to jest turn the bluettoth on and the Wildfire is connected as a pendrive in my Windows explorer.
use websharing app. just google it
