I've killed it - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

In the words of Homer DOH!!!!!!!!!!! I have killed me new MDA III
Last night I was trying to get the sync software to work and it didn’t so I have a look round the net for some upgrades, found one which sorted 50% of the problems so carried on looking.
Well I ended up downloading something which I though was a upgrade to the windows software but not (trouble is I now can’t find the site I got it from), I have killed it BIG time, Windows has gone and the only thing that come up on the screen is “Serial 2.05” had a look on the windows CD that came with it and it’s just a help file the O/S is not on there.
Now this is my first PDA and in 2 days I have managed to kill it, how do I get the O/S back on?

Your device is in the bootloader mod.
Download one of the ROM packages here and execute. This will load the ROM into the MDA.

hi
i killed mine as well but what you need to do is find the same rom that was on it and try upgrading it i did a few till it finally worked also there is a previous tread on hit. http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=12101&highlight=

ExtROM v1.72.126 vs v1.72.800

I see on the I-mate support site that I don't have the newest extrom; I do have the newest radio and rom. Is it worth blanking my device to upgrade? I don't see anything on the site that describes the benefits. What say you all?
Well I can say from my experience that if you don't have a problem with it just leave it alone. I did the entire update and what I found was that the phone started acting real crazy and would not want to register one of our networks. I then went and re-do the upgrade once more it remove the .800 EXT ROM and replaced it with the...126EXT ROM. Now the part that was not working works sometime and for now I will have to live with it until I can afford another one or get the real fix. Can you confirm how your phone is behaving and all the networks?
Oh it works fine; guess I will wait.

ROM For a ?Bricked Cingular 8125 G4 Wizard.

Good day.......
I am mailing out of real frustration.
I don't know if this is allowed.
I collected a cingular 8125 from a friend in the UK.
I noticed on starting up that there was Tmobile screen first before the windows mobile screen starts. I had no problem with the fone until i realised that i couldnt connect to my local networks GPRS service (who uses a phone that can't browse)
After scanning thru the site, i decided to flash the phone with Crasing's WM6.5 ROM after doing a HardSPL and i could browse and it was the perfect phone apart from the fact that it was real slow and hangs attimes.
It got worse so i got fed up and decided to revert it back to the original ROM and sort the browsing stuff with a network fix that someone on this site had told me.
I reverted the hardSPL and on installing the Tmobile ROM, it brought out an error message, tried with the Cingular ROM same thing.
So i tired reflashing by using a software called Flash Center and it started and stopped at the 1%.
Restarting my phone just shows me the bootloader screen and i have been battling it constantly for 3 weeks but to no avail
I have read almost all forums here, done almost all they ask to do, but nothing.
The only ROM that worked on it is the WIZARD love ROM but it using exactly 21mins to start up. Thot of downloading Faria/Molski WM5 ROM (cos i sorta prefer going back to WM5) but the links for their downloads are dead.
Please help/direct me to where i can see help cos i really need the phone like 2 weeks ago. I am most definitely depressed now.
Thanks.

maybe you could try with WM5 AKU 3.3 Rom for G3 & G4 Wizards (includes Crossbow stuff and many enhancements) and you can get at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=290155
Thanks a million for responding.
I have tried that ROM but the RUU couldn't detect the my phone in bootloader mode.
So i used another RUU which detected the phone but when it got to 96% it failed and Whoosh.... back to square one.
Any other ideas..
I'm pretty desperate.

Really need help with HTC Mozart 7

So yesterday i was searching forums and i found this thread that lets you download and update the WP7 rom with the new nodo release.
http ://blog.walshie.me/2011/04/04/so-who-wants-windows-phone-updates-like-right-now/
Work fine installed and i have the new nodo update on my device.
But... when i try to open emails, messages, internet explorer etc the mozart will not load them and will return straight back to the home screen.
Im getting really frustrated and im just trying to restore the mozart back to the rom before the new update... for some reason im finding information on how to do this impossible
Help would really be appreciated
cheers guys,
wow i was just goin to awnser you, but this has to wait some more minutes, i just had the craziest crash on my mozart!
battery almost empty
i hook it up on my pc, zune starts everything is fine...
one or two minutes later, the mozart made a "PLOP" sound
it normally does it when you turn off the screen (maybe it didnt always do it)
but i heard the sound once or twice (or more)
but its not normal that the sound comes that late.
well. ZUNE said when this happend: Cant Connect to your Phone, please check connection (after sync)
The RED LED Light is still ON, but i cant connect my phone to Zune
Windows makes the USB Sound, mozart wont react,
i cant turn the screen on!
i cant not even turn it off!
only the RED LED is always On
OH MY LORD WHAT HAVE I DONE!?!?!
im goin to pull the battery and see wtf is happending....
btw sorry to highjack your post
/edit
PFEW lucky me battery plug fixxed it,
i wonder wtf this was! scared the hell out of me..
now to your problem, its really simple and a little surfing the forum would have helped you, maybe searching is always a good idea, but here we go:
Depending on you Carrier you can flash back any Carrier Branded rom without Goldcard, if u want to use another carriers rom or a unbranded one youll need a goldcard, sdcard(usbreader) & Y-Cable
so if you on T-Mobile DE you get from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=786

[Q] HTC Radar 4G stuck in reboot loop - Please help!

Hey, guys, I know there are a lot of these issues with a lot, if not all, of the HTC smartphones, but I've only seen a few of these for the HTC Radar, and they all seem to give the same answers. Hopefully my explanation of the problem will help!
So, I got the phone thanksgiving weekend 2011, so I've had it for about a year. One day around the beginning of April this year, my phone randomly began a restarting loop, where it would gradually restart itself from a blank white screen over and over, then it went to the HTC screen over and over, and then periodically switched between the HTC screen and the black "Windows Phone" load screen over and over again. I tried taking off the battery cover and leaving it for a couple of minutes and then hours, but I put it back and it just kept rebooting. I was left without a phone for about two days.
On the second day, I put it on the charger and left it in my dorm while I was in class all day, and when I came back, it was rebooting still, but I noticed that it always made it to the "Windows Phone" logo loading screen and then restarted. After about 4 reboots, it went back to normal and I was able to use the phone. After the next couple of months, it stopped doing it in such a long period of time, but the battery usage went up almost 30-40% than what it used to be. Once in a while, it would reboot once, but then it would be back to normal.
This time, in late October, it started the reboot thing again, but this time, only going up to the HTC screen and looping that. I tried taking the battery cover off again and leaving it for hours, but same problem now. So I decided to leave it off for a day. By this time, I had my HTC Desire HD as backup, but it was unlocked, and at the time when I bought it, I didn't know anything about HSDPA numbers, so I could use my T-Mobile SIM, but no mobile network, since it's a Telus/AT&T phone.
I tried charging it, but this time, it lasted for a whole week. After rebooting over and over, it would last 3 hours, then stop because the battery would die out. So I just left it, and left it, and weeks went by, and my warranty had long since expired, so I couldn't go to HTC about this. I even called them to see what I could do, and they told me to do a Factory Reset, well... here is a list of the things I tried:
- IMAGE CRC: At first I didn't know what this was, and so I looked it up. After finding out what it was, I tried it, and I got two numbers: BL CRC-0xD19F79E1 and OS CRC-0x4CC706B. I looked those up on the internet and got nothing. I restarted the phone, and nothing happened at all. (If there was something else I was supposed to do here, please tell me!)
- Factory Reset: This was the LAST thing I wanted to do, but I had no choice and I tried it, hoping the error would be fixed. So I scrolled down to it, everything seemed to be normal, it gave me a warning, and I clicked it ... I was very suspicious of this, because as soon as I clicked "Factory Reset", it said "Reset complete. Press Volume Down to restart". I mean IMMEDIATELY after. Now, I KNOW that Factory Resets take much longer than an instant to actually have happened. But I restarted anyway. ... Nothing, still. I tried it several times after that, only to get the same result.
Those are the two options I tried, besides looking on the internet... if I can avoid buying a new Radar, I would like to, at all costs, because the next time I have a decent amount of money, I would like to save it for something else. Is there anything else I could try to resolve this issue, or at least gain more information on the problem?
Thank you all very much for reading my post!

May be it is a Hardware problem. Why you don't try to put HSPL and to cook custom rom ? I do this on mine few days ago and now the phone is more useful than before. I cooked HD2O ROM and till now working fine for me. When you change bootloader with HSPL may be it will work out if it is a Software problem. Also you need to change Radio Firmware other wise the device can not boot. When I am doing HSPL a few times phone just loop restarts and not start but after I do everything like it was in treads here and flash new radio the phone is working fine now. But may be there is a Hardware problem.

Thank you very much for responding! So just to be clear, how exactly do I go about flashing a ROM on the Radar, and a new radio? On Android phones, its much easier to root the device or simply place the ROM folder in there and make it work. I have no experience with doing this to a Radar, as I was previously led to believe that this was impossible. Should I just browse this forum?

Yes just browse this forum but only section about Windows Phone 7 Development and Hacking. You will find DFT exclamation of how to install HSPL. In mine it was very easy because I not receive Country ID fail my phone was buy in Europe. If you receive Country ID error you need to proceed with goldcard it is explained there but first proceed without goldcard if it work it is very easy. Also when you proceed SPL2.05 it is not clear in the topic but you need to be in bootloader so you should start your phone with VolUp and VolDn keys pushed this is not explained in the topic and I waist a lot of time till figured out. After that just download one of the 7.8 ROMs here in Radar section and write it down. Also download new radio and use some RUU to put it on the phone before the ROM other wise the phone can not boot. Try and after that if you have problems write down here.
MY RADAR TURNED BACK ON! I don't know exactly what happened, but after a couple of reboots, the battery indicator flashed and then it rebooted twice until finally turning on the full amount.
Tonyco1 -- Thank you very much for staying with me and replying to my request! Although what you suggested is not needed for my booting issue, I'm going to try it anyway to see if I can actually boot 7.8! Thank you again.

[Q] Gv-21/Kimdecent T21/intcrown T9/ZW608/T301 Firmware Rollback/Downgrade

Hi, I'm hoping that somebody could help me here as i am in a real pickle.
I bought a Kimdecent T21, Which i believe is the same as the Intcrown T9, the GV-21, the ZW608 and theT301, with the last two looking unlike the others.
Anyway, I had one before Christmas, and loved it. I could use BiggiFi VMG on my phone and control it, the WiFi was excellent as was XBMC. My sister came home from abroad for Christmas and she loved it, needless to say, i no longer have it.
So i bought a new one. But the new one arrived with the latest firmware, and a version of XBMCAndroid installed on it, but it doesn't work. It just loads into a black screen with the cursor. The WiFi is atrocious and sometimes other apps just load as a black screen (I think that's when XBMC is 'running' in the Background).
I have looked everywhere for the old firmware but i can't find it. I found a version of it on the Kimdecent website, but every time i try to 'Make' the Firmware card, i get an error saying - CopyFile "bootfs" error error code=1005 firmware. So i think that version is corrupt.
I also found a version on the intcrown website, that one worked, but it is the same firmware i have on the stick already.
The old version had two XBMC apps, i can't remember what they did, i think one was a server or something, and the other a remote? I'm not sure. I had to install XBMCAndroid myself. So this one is different.
I have uninstalled it, installed versions i know work on it, and i have factory resetted it, and installed XBMC on top of the existing version, still nothing helped.
Does anyone know what i can do to fix this, or maybe somebody can help me find an old firmware. I've looked everywhere i can think of, and more, and i found nothing. I am about to fly an email off to Kimdecent again, but they don't seem to reply to them.
I'm really sorry for the long post. Hope someone can help, and thanks for reading.
