Can anybody tell me if i got a Wallaby or Himalaya. Im from Australia and have an O2 XDA 1 Pokcet PC Phone Edition.
ROM version: 3.20.06 ENG
ROM Date: 07/30/03
Radio Version: 4.21.00
Protocol Version: 32S54
Please let me know and suggest a suitable ROM update for it. I wanna know which one to download to upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003. There are so many that ive seen and im not sure which one will work here in Australia on the OPTUS network.

Try going here where there are pictures of the devices so you can see which one is which, you can even match up your serial number there.

Panja is on the right way....
Himalaya = XDA II, MDA II, QTEK 2020 and the new Vodaphone PDA
Wallaby = XDA I, MDA I and QTEK 1010
It´s not a matter of way it looks, but on the Hardware....

hello i have a problem with an XDA 1!
i have download the special rom version from developers 3.17.03 Eng
and have the radi version 4.21.00
so my problem is that i what to put in a D 2 vodafone Ger simcard into the xda when i start it and enter the pin (the pin is not wrong) the phon doesn't connect, doesn`t except the pin!
could somebody help me!
ps. sorry for my bad english!
when i'm trying upgrade to wm2003 se from 1.72 with v 1.03 boatloader i've got model id error and stuck in boatloader. i try to reset and plug Gin to continue the upgrade and still the same problem appeared.
anyone help please :roll:

I'm using xda II trying to upgrade from 1.72.104 to WM2003 se with 1.03 boatloader. before that I've succesfully upgrade my XDA II from 1.72.800 to WM 2003se with boatloader 1.02. what I do not know why appeared model id error with boatloader 1.03
anyone help please
how did you change your bootloader from 1.02 to 1.03?

no... that's not what i meant. the one i have is xda with 1.02 the other is my friends. of course you now that we cannot change he boatloader. :lol:
