hotmail access on GPRS connection - MDA, XDA, 1010 General

Anyone having problems accessing hotmail using a GPRS connection?
I am using an XDA on O2 in the uk.
I am using the URL
http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/
I can "Sign In" ok but when I tap on "MSN Hotmail" I get...
"We were unable to process your request" and an OK button that when tapped goes back to the following page
http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/default.aspx? etc etc
Any ideas?
Doesn't work even using Internet over USB.

myo2engine with a proxy and gprs

Hello,
Im new to this forum and also new to the o2 XDA but i have got a slight problem with my XDA.
If i sync my XDA to my computer at work and attempt to connect to myo2engine ( i.e my email ) it just sits there saying "Sending Request" and it will time out. So what i have to do to browse the internet on my XDA ( which connects thru my internet connect, which is thru a proxy server ) and then when i attempt to do it again it works fine.
But then if i disconnect my XDA from my PC and i attempt to connect to myo2engine using the GPRS connection it also just sits there saying "Sending Request". So basically what i have to do is then reconnect to the internet using the GPRS and after that it works again. This is all very weird to me and doesnt seem right at all.
Im not sure if i have explained this very well or if anybody knows why this would happen?? I wonder if it has something to do with connecting thru work using the proxy server???
thanks for any help

[Q] Remote Router Access

I've got my home router (Linksys WRT160Nv2) set up for Remote Management So I can access it through the internet. I found however that I cant access it through any of the android browsers and I cant figure out why. The security cert pops up and I accept it, takes me to the login page, put in my info but the login box just pops back up. Is there something in the browser stopping it from working because it works from other computers.
Yeah happened to me. On axuras rom. I had to unlock the security to get wifi.
I got it good on jk6. Working great.

I cant recieve my emails via gmail app its just loading but nothing happen. At the end im getting an errormessage telling me "No connection".
After all i tried the standard emailclient delivered with Android but when i try to config i get an "connection with server failed" at first i thought may its a bug with the autoconfig of the mailclient so i entered the imap adress and port by my self but the same as with the autosetup
anyone knows how to solve the problem?

Yes (Browser works perfectly) , but its really strange because if i connect my x10 via wlan with my router everything works really fine.

No Account Sync + WiFi Failure

Until 2-3 days ago, both my Google account sync on my phone and WiFi connectivity worked. However, both of these have now failed. I am not sure they are linked, but I assume they are considering the problems surfaced at a similar time.
1) Gmail doesn't work - the app opens, but does not download or send emails. No error message appears, it just does nothing. I press refresh to no avail. Going onto the Play Store and again encountering account sync failure made me realise it was an account wide and phone problem and not just Gmail.
2) Whilst my data connection works (and therefore the above account sync problem is not one of connectivity), the WiFi connection that worked up until 2 days ago does not work anymore. It is a hotel network, but rather than redirect me to a login page it sends me to a single page (not the login page) and does not allow any other sites. The problem is most probably down to my phone as the WiFi network and login works fine on my PC and for everyone else in the hotel.
Any ideas as to how to resolve this?
Thanks

Clear data from Google framework services..delete your google account..reboot ..add your Google account again..and do this on your data network..coz for WiFi you need to contact the admin of your hotel..

Problem using Google Now

Whenever i try to open Google Now most of the time is gives the message "Can't reach google at the moment", same thing happens during voice typing, (Sometimes it works fine too). All the required Language & Input settings are active, still i can't use Google now and the voice msg feature.
Really annoyed b'coz of this. Plz help!!!
If you are using 3g/2g data then it my happen because data connection take 3-4 sec to connect with server so when you search for google now it is not getting connected immediately to the server/network hence it says no connectivity...
To confirm that there is no problem in software you may search using a wifi connection for 1 or 2 time
