I have upgraded to Sin's merged version 2. Problem now the latest version MMSComposerv2.0.0.20 & VideoMMS does not want to work when in VideoMMS mode. It comes up with an error saying "Failed to invoke MMS Composer please try again or make sure MMS Composer is already installed. "
I have reloded reflushed, downloaded MMS & Video Composer from other postings, all to no avail.
I have now decided to revert back to an earlier version of MMS_Composer_1.6.0.8 . This version does not integrate with outlook but at least it works.
My XDAII is PH10B Model ROM version 2.06.00WWE Radio 1.18.00 Protocol ver 1337.38 ExtRom version Sin.Merged.v2.0.
Anyone experienced the same or does anyone now how to fix the problem?

I have a TMO MDA II (I got off ebay) it has the following:
ROM 2.06.00WWE
ROM Date 06/14/04
Radio Version 1.14.00
Protocol version 1337.24
ExtROM version 2.06.100a
I am unable to flash any other rom version to this device. I get all the way to the updater in the host pc saying that it is going to wipe the device then it gets a communication error (No usb hubs involved here)
I have got past stuff like this on my XDA I by flashing via SD, this does not work either, it comes back with some error that it can't download to sector 1.
Any thoughts on getting past this?

Installed a WM2k3SE downgrade from wm2k5 - now I cant activesync to my device (or install any different ROMS), activesync says it is connected, but you cannot open the program up! If you try to upgrade to a different ROM (I have one that I know works), the update program just crashes out! Please help.

May have got a bit excited there - installed activesync 4 and it seems OK!
after Click the HimaUpgradeUt.exe
it show me the following information.

Extended image version 1.72.181
Radio image version 1.18.00
after flash the rom, it can setup the machince until it's show the "Setup is complete. Tap the screen to begin using your device"
The machine hang at there, even can't power off the O2 xda2,
I need to soft reset the machine.
After reset, I note that is missing the camera function, both at program, and button menu.
Under the Setting -> Device Information.

ExtROM version: (BLANK)
what happen to my camera and the ExtROM???
I have flash server time, same problems hang at the same place and lost my camera function.
Do you have any idea with it?

i've got a spv m1000, and when i open the bluetooth tray i get the following message
"there is no bluetooth hardware installed on this device"
anyone? maybe a romupdate will do some good? do i need to install something?

btw. i did several hard resets (removing battery), installing extended rom and not installing extended rom.
none worked
i updated the radio rom to 1.17.00 and updated to the C_ShekharAKU7.0c.R40.P24_public wm6 rom. still the problem with bluetooth hardware error persists.
nobody had this problem and solved it

Hi. I'm getting the same problem with c_shekhar's WM6.1 on my M1000, havn't a clue why. Tried unintsalling programs and doing a hard reset, but still there.
I am trying to update to WM6 on my G4, evertime i use the update utilty tool and I get to the "verify that you want to update the ROM version" I cannot see the replacement rom,
what am I doing wrong?

Its not possible to upgrade to wm6 with a CID locked phone.Read and follow the SoftSPL or HardSPL method posted as stickies in the G4 sub-forum.
yep, i used the unlocker, after downloading the tutorial here i saw where I was going wrong, now have the new Rom updated and working well, except.......
No data or internet connection, all other functions work, bluetooth, wireless phone sms etc but cannot connect to internet or send recieve mail. just get "cannot connect with current connection settings" message. it used to be the 02 software, still running an the same 02 sim which works fine in my other phone, either I am missing something on settings for the new rom. using the Mfrazzz wm6 Rom
any ideas?
You need to set up the GPRS settings for your carrier,get them from O2 or check out this link:-
