I'm not completely a trechnical person as most ppls here and I do envy all them that's got the brain to do stuffs and make them work. Can someone just explain to me (or give me a link) the technicalities of splash screen and how to download/create themes for my XDA IIi? Thanks.

i was wondering if anyone is making differant boot screens. I would really like to find someone that can take like a girls gone wild clip of girls flasing and use that as the boot screen instead of a glowing android.

Hey everyone i would really like to find a black wallpaper for my wildfire because it hate the carbon style one you get one the phone.
Something with a design similiar to the htc hd2 background which is just plain black but with a bit of a design. I don't want any logos or any other images on my wallpaper either pls just a colour
it would need to be 240x320 obviously to fit the screen and its resolution.
Can somebody help me here i really love my wildfire and a great background which i like would be even more awesome

Why don't you just do a Google Images search for wallpapers, "styled black wallpaper" or whatever you are looking for? I'm sure you'll find something you like that way. Then you can just crop / resize the image to fit the screen.

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this has been requested yet, but could someone port the boot animation from the nexus? I'm talking about the one that looks like a bunch of paint streams combing to form an x. I think this would be really cool on the atrix.

Just Google search for it or just rip it from the online theme kitchen. It is one of the options you can choose.

Whenever I add a bootscreen from UOTK, it always comes up as a black screen :/
Hi all! I'm new to the forums, but wanted to say how excited I am to be here. Such talent and knowledge in one place... truly remarkable...
NOW.. on to my proposal....
First, I'm NOT a developer or computer genious... just a tech fan that loves the DNA and all it has to offer.. thanks to all the talented developers here on this forum. I'm currently enjoying the Venome 1.1.3 ROM and cannot believe the customality built in! Truly Amazing!
Anyway... I'm a big STAR TREK fan from waaaaaaaayyyyy back... and truly loved what JJ did with the new timeline. To that end.. I've taken the movie... fram by frame.. and pulled out a ton of screen shots that one of you gifted souls could no doubt whip into one h--- of a them for our DNAs...
Currently, I just set as wallpaper, etc... but have NOT attempted to venture beyond my skill set to make this happen. So... if anyone is up to the task, let me know and I will provide a link to all the screen shots...
I assume the pics need to be converted to PNG ... if not, just let me know and I'll convert, upload, and provide link...
One request... if you take on this project... and I don't know if this is even possible.. but it would be super cool if select number of screenshots would auto rotate....
Well, I've got to step out and take care of a little business, so please post here if you're interested. I should be able to covert the pics, upload, and provide link later tonight....

You could make your own splash screens have a look through the Droid DNA Themes and Apps section and you will get some more tips and tricks
I found a nice boot animation, but it doesnt have the right resolution for my phone (s3 mini). Its made for the nexus 4 (1280x768) and my phone is 800x480. It would be great if someone could make it in the right resolution for my phone. Here is the link for the boot animation, Im new here so I cant post outside links.
