i have xdaII but none of the version of activesync (3.8 or 4) does not connect to the XDAII.
when i try to connect thru bluetooth in my xda it hangs,, so i guess some problem in activesync in my XDA II,,
the actuall problem why i need to connect is to repair it for not opening the contacts.. it gives this error when i open contacts : "An Unexpected error has occured in this program."
and when i boot the xdaII it gives this error in begening : "Unable to read contact data! (Error Code: F0009859) 101:200:563"
so is it posible to installl activesync again in the xdaII ??

I have a big problem:
when i lost the gsm signal the phone is power off and never recive incoming calls ... until i'll power on again.
Is there some settings in order to search the gsm signal always...?
...cause i can't control the xda every 5 minutes if have signal or not...
I have 4.21 radio and 4.00.11 rom

I've downloaded the 4.00.16 ROM by mistake, it really didn't tell the ROM number, so now I want to revert to a earlier one and I can't.
I've got the following message: "ERROR: GetDeviceData - An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
error getting devicedata" and then "ERROR 011: EXECUTE REMOTE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM ERROR. Cannot execute the remote communication program. Please make sure that the USB/Serial cable is properly connected."
PLEASE HELP ME, I'M REALLY STUCK NOW AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO...

I have faced a serious problem when upgrading my i-mate , during the upgrade process my pc shutdown( hibernated) and the upgrade was halted , that caused discontinuation of the process and now when starting the upgrade I get the message " not able to connect to the device" I am using the latest active sync version but no communication is happening between the i-mate and the PC, moreover the only thing I can see in my poor i-mate is the blue screen that says sadly “ i-mate” . Can any one help please ?

I try to opgrade to the new TMobile 1.60.36
but now i try to run the patch i get at connections error.
I have tjek all my connections and i have contack to the pda whit activesync, but i still get the conections error

I have an Qtek 2020 (bought in Greece).
I had the 1.66 ROM installed and tried to upgrade to the 1.72WWE version dowloaded by the xda-developers ftp site.
In the installation, at the time when the program erases the previous ROM I get the following error message :
ERROR 112 : CE ROM UPGRADE ERROR
To continue the upgrade please :
1. disconnect the Pocket PC from the USB cradle
2. perform a normal reset
3. reconect the Pocket PC and restart the upgrade
tried the above procedure with the same results.
Anyone having any hints?
I had the same, trying to upgrade. Just do as the screen says (i.e.: restart the upgrade). Worked fine for me!! :lol:
done it at least four times with the same result.
The strange thing is that i performed an upgrade already to 1.66 withoutany problems a short while ago. The only difference was that I got the upgrade from my provider intead of xda-developers
Hi, my atom have 2 problems:
1: No service, so, cant use it as a phone, everithing is working, bluetooth, WiFi, etc, the sim is recognized by te phone, but cant find ´the network service.
So, my option is to upgrade the ROM:
Problem 2: once connected to Activesync (in Win Vista) start flashing a lot of rom´s and the phone change to "Upgrade Utility USB Connected" and the PC loose the connection, try to install another controller and the ROM soft send the message: can´t connect to the phone.
So, I cant upgrade or repair the rom.
DID ANYONE KNOWS THIS PROBLEMS?
