Hi guys i downloaded the wm5 from here and it was working fine. But then i decided to go back to the o2 rom. Whilist upgrading or downgrading the program stops responding and then it exits. And the update cannot goon. I have since tried 2003se and no luck their it gets to 60% and stops.
can any1 help me as the xda is my best friend and need to get it running.

Ok guys incase anyone else gets the upgrade program exiting by its on at a certain percentage all you have to do is remove all the files from the temp folder in the local settings.

actually this is my frist post in ur great forum, i have a very strange problem, one of my friends brought me a customized rom from XDA-Developers and i was able to upgrade my Qtek-1010 very smoth, but after that i tried to cusmize my own ROM and when i try to upgrade my Qtek-1010 the PROGRAMME A.exe opens the welcome secreen and instructions screen and in the next page which gets information from my XDA the application terminates without any eror No or messgaes its just disappear....
i do really appreciate if you help get over it .. because i really need to upgrade my XDA with your great customized Roms
anyone could help me??
Have you tried burning the original rom back to the qtek before attempting the update.
if you mean before the forst upgrade, no i did not
now i can get the backup with the OSImagetool but i can not reapply it again because simply the programme a.exe terminates

The Solution
I’ve discovered the problem, there upgrade utility faced a problem closing some running applications, I closed all running applications on the XDA and I removed all shortcuts in the startup folder under the Windows folder, performed a soft rest and everything went ok and I upgraded my XDA finally :lol:

Hi guys... try to search and google for an answer to my problems but cant find the solutions..
problems : let say i turn on my hd2 at 1.00 pm on12/08/10....
and at 1.30 pm on 13/08/10 i turn off the phone and replace the battery with fresh one .. turn it on... the clock will show the time and date as 1.00pm 12/08/10...
time will be reset back to time i on the phone on the first time and it will continue the cycle...
try hard reset but the bugs still there... clear all my apps.. clean phone... bugs still there....
my phone using stock ROM 1.48,702... everything is stock...
itsx all start after i do some tweaking & installing apps which i hv uninstall now.. but the problemis still there,,..

HTC service Center advised the following :
1. Take out sim card and storage card to eliminate the error tht maybe caused by this 2 items... i've done it... and restart... walaaa... like a charm it works...
But on fine fine day i install cab file... then the old problem again haunted my hd2...
tried the above methods.. this its no longer worked..
Fed-up, i just let it be like that... then on one fine day.. I install another cab file... CHT and CHT Editor to be exact... walaaa... the old problem eliminated.. hv install/uninstall few cab file after tht (analog clock cab file).. so far everything still ok..
I would like to refresh this topic.
It started to happen to me like month ago from no special reason. I use SD Android build, so with every restart to go back to WM, time/date changes from couple minutes to couple weeks to both directions.
Hard reset did not help. Another ROM flashed did not help.
It seems to occur only when rebooting Android -> WM. WM -> WM reset direction mostly OK. Battery-out almost always changes time/date.
Just a thought: Is there any kind of "CMOS battery" like in PC motherboards, that can be weak/broken in the HD2?
Any advice appreciated

I've got the same problem using Omega rom v30. It's solved easily enough by using sptimesync to get the exact time. What's your rom? I'm gonna flash and see if anything changes
My ROM is:
WM- HD2O
Android - MccM HD V6
This is also happening to me. It's happened before and it somehow corrected itself, but it's really annoying me at the moment. Any ideas as to the cause? Running WM6.5 ROM, stock 3.14. Not running android at all.
hey there, im currently facing a problem with my hd2 as by freezing and becoming unresponsive. It sometimes just sits and opens applications as it wants or just hangs.
what i have tried to do is hard reset a couple of times with no luck
upgraded to the latest software version available still no luck
removed my storage card tried using it without it also no luck
what do u guys think the problem is? P.S I am installing some themes might it be the problem? although that i used to use them before this problem occured?

no idea what problem you have i only know that CLRCAD doesnt show any activity. if you see notthing .. thats how it should work

I had the same thing.
My android 'crashed' and my telephone did a soft-reset.
After that I could not open any program again, always said: Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate etc.
Did a hard reset, and again on android. But a bit annoying
is there even a way to fix it? cause it was working at first then now it doesnt work at all and i reformatted my sd card so many times and trying to redo everything all over again and still no luck
i have the mattc 1.5 desire build in my phone for over 2 weeks and its
my fav one but just yesterday it i couldnt find my charger and phone died
when i charged it and try to go back to android it wouldnt let me in
same dumb message , then i it stopped with the message but now it gets

To answer OP's question, the easiest way you can do to fix it is downloading another Android build and run it to see if it works. It might be caused by corrupted downloaded files.
Btw, have you gone through all essential setup steps?
yeah im pretty sure i have...i also tried downloading other ones too same message. i HARD SPL the phone...then i unzip all the files to the root of my sd card...and if that didnt work then i also tried putting it in an android folder...still didnt work..and reformatting the sd card also.

stock roms probably dont allow the running of unsigned files to protect the system files, either find the cab file to disable this or you need to change to a custom rom
a lot of people like the energy rom but i dont know how to flash the rom..

I have noticed that none of the applications on the sd card were working anymore. It was the same message as when trying to run android.
Hard reset and now everything (including android) is working.
If it happens again, I think it will be time to try a custom rom because using android is far too fun to give up.
well i didnt hardset mine because its unlocked it is tmobile but i got it unlocked for AT&T so i was to scared to hardset it and it might have relocked...idk if that is possible but didnt want to take the chances but i flashed it with the energy rom, and then did the android. but at first my android wasnt working. it will boot and then when i turn it off and back on it didnt work and that was pissing me off..but now i got it working. its pretty much easy doing this..its just time consuming if you dont know what ya doing cause it took me a while

Hi all, i have a tricky one for you. MUCH respect to the one that can help me out with this one.
I belived my HD2 to be faulty and was to return it in for repairs. Having HSPL on the phone presented a problem so i tryed installing from SD card to remove it and restore the phone back to original ..... exept that didnt happen.
See, i didnt save my original rom back in the days when hspl showed up and apperently, you need to extract your original rom if you ever inteend to restore it to full original. So after some tries, with stock 1.48 and stock 1,66 i gave up and did a task 29, installed NRG rom and was back to normal ... OR so i thought.
The problem that started showing was a strange connection error.
"Dialer
cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings " some more text of non importense is displayed on there.
Thing is i lose the connection for like 1 second, it then shows this message and the connection is back again ... so i just press "Dismiss" untill it randomly will occure again now and then.
Now i tryed radio 2.10.50.19, 2.10.50.28, 2.12.50.28_2 with no luck.
I tryed to start with 1.48 stock installed from computer, then Task 29 with radio, then the latest NRG rom ... and some older. Nothing changes this thing, and the problem never occured before. I tryed just Task 29 and straight to NRG rom, nothing.
Plz plz if you have an idee, or think you can help, plz do, this is getting on my nerves, what if i never can save it!!!! ... oh my oh my
