to all you kind people out there a warm hello.i need help regarding my xda. it seems that my rom wont load properly. first i tried a hard reset but no effect. then i i tried using the sd card bootloader method but it doesnt work either. i end up with just a white screen with the blue strip on top and the small keyboard at the lower right portion of the screen. does anyone know whats wrong with my xda and how to correct it. all suggestions would be really appreciated.thanks!
Are you sure your device is in right condition.
What happens when you try to enter the bootloader?
On the bootscreen you're getting some device information Which ROm, which radio stack ,...

i see the tricolor screen(wallaby bootloader v5.17) that says wait then gsm error appears.

when i soft reset i get the o2 splash screen that has 3.20.06 at the bottom right screen then the letters G and R appear on top of that but no #s beside them.thats why i think the radio stack and rom got wiped out or wouldnt load.when i try to activesync my pc says that the xda malfunctioned and cant be recognized.what's happening to my device? its quite frustrating.i wish you could help me out to fix it.

Hi during a official upgrade

after detecting my device it got stuck in bootloader-mode
nothing has been updated yet.
the screen only shows Serial 1.02 or USB 1.02
i cannot reset my device,is there any way to exit the bootloader

no matter what i tried it all failed
so the only option left was to install a unofficial rom
i now have the diamond release nicely working

I've just gotten this error whilst updating my XDA Iii using the updater from the O2 website.
Its now stuck on a screen saying USB and v1.01.
Any ideas?

i tried to upgrade my o2 mini xda II from its current version..
as u said i dowloaded the above file and ran the HimaUpgradeUt file...
first- it showed up a screen saying its going to upgrade from current version to a newer version...and click on upgrade...
stage 1 erasing rom image....
from here it stoped...an error message occured saying
"error 112:CE ROM UPDATE ERROR"
there has been a problem updating your pocket pc software..
remove cable and reset...
i did but it doesnt restart...Serial v1.00 appears on screen.. i even hard reseted.. i doesnt work....
please help me....
I have a Niki100 that can't boot, it stops in the screen that shows "smart mobility" and at the bottom the info in red letters.
Here he shows
M 04
B 04
R 1.58.16.27
G 25.61.30.03H
D 1.31
I can boot it to the 3 colors screen, when connec't the cable at the white stripe it changes from serial to usb, but can't flash any rom it stops at 0% with error! At this screen it shows:
niki100
SPL-1.16.0000
CPLD-4
Already tried several official rom's some gives me ID error because it's locked to vodafone, but also tried an Vodafone spanish rom and got update error.
From the versions it's something wrong? It's not my pda I'm used to work with an Prophet, I don't know niki's spl, hard spl, etc... stuff...

Do a hard reset, if it boots then do hardspl and after flash rom of your choice.
Still the same! This is a rom problem...
Have you read any of the threads about flashing????; you have to HardSpl first your device before anything else, then the CID Unlock and then you can flash any ROM; (I recomend HardSpl 1.22)
I've the same issue ...
I've "hardspl" my device before ... but now no access at all to the device
it's stock on the HTC logo...
I can't go to the rainbow boot ... the PC don't see it

I get the pda already at this state... I didn't do anything yet to him!
I too have the same issue
I too tried many options... nothing working....
Still i have an option left, i heard that you can boot ROM from SD Card, this may help us to proceed further(avoid boot issues)... Let me try and update you

Already try the sd method and some roms tells wrong vendor other (Vodafone) just stays at "loading..."
No boot, the device is hung, no way out ...

I have the same issue:
after I have flashed new Insomnia 3.01 ROM,
the phone will not install any software first and than freezed.
After I have take the battery out and put it on again,
device has stopped responding and boots no more, shows HTC Logo with
radio version etc.
Could anybody help me?
