Here are the answers from the PDF's...
181 will disconnect any connection when phone rings, except the Blackberry, Mobile Web and WAP connections. If you need to use a permanent GPRS connection that will remain connected when phone is used, you should use 187 version.
Also, there are additional apps available for download as well (same page).

You can register a username for free on the O2 site, and get a password mailed to you. You will then be able to download the files.

Hm... I'm registred, but my credentials are not working...

Check my post here. My guess is your previous upgrade set your operator in the device to a non-O2 value.

A release from O2Asia is expected. O2Asia usually follows about a week after O2UK, I think.

Dowloading.... Anyway, anyone has any clue what's the improvement the ROM provide compared to the previous one?
Uploading to RapidShare. Funny, at first the upload bar looks fine. Then suddenly, now 100% but it is still uploading because the upload time is still slowly decreasing.

KNOWN BUG: Internet Sharing application is not working. WM5 AKU3.X no longer supports modem link.
For those of you who have downloaded and flashed using SD Card method who ended up in a brick! ITEX recovers his Atom by following procedure:
1. remove SD Card
2. remove battery
3. hold camera button and reset (stylus) button
4. replace battery while still holding the buttons
This will bring you back to bootloader mode. Just flash the above DSUU.

Your device battery must be at least 80% charged.

you dont need the modded rom, simply extract (execute DSUU Xda-Atom-Exec-ENG-20060721-MOT0822) (or which ever Atom Exec rom you have) the files from win/temp then store these files. Execute the Atom rom (Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822) (or which ever Atom rom you have) then overwrite the temp files with the previous files you saved, click next then once finished put the Atom into bootloader mode and run the Atom rom Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822 again, wahla! If that doesnt work try doing it the oposite way around if that makes sense, good luck.

o2 Plus over new ROM
Hi guys,
I had installed the new ROM last night and it seems to work fine.
However, when installing O2 Plus, I realized that I cannot add to the shortcuts tab a programs that resides inside the new directories.
The programs list lists me only subset of programs to add.
Any advices ?

2.How to upgrade: USE IT ON YOUR OWN RISK! Download this document and replaced original edition.Run Device Software Update Utility.exe and renew all and wait until finished...

Atom, as i know, have 2 Radio Version till now, here are the files i attached,.
ATOM Old Radio
--> The Radio version is "R060822N_MN1ARC_RS00052"
--> And its officially released, just see HERE
ATOM New Radio
--> The Radio version is "R060822N_MN2ARC_RS00013"
--> Basicly, its for Atom Exec, just see HERE
The One i use for my Wm 6.1 Last present was, The NEW one,.
And the OLD Radio Version was just the same with "radie 0.34-07112N" on post #1

Thanks for your post but I would like to explain this radio.
The radio is modified from the lastest official radio of HP68XX series.
As we know,Atom/Exec and HP68XX all are made by HTC and these hardware are similar.So does OS in these devices.
I download your new radio and it looks like my radio 0.33

I have used .34 Radio attached in this thread. Unzip it and replace the ROM files and update ur phone. and post your feedback here. Now your witless works or not.
As I promised, I'm now going to release the O2 version of the ROM for Atom Life. The OS version of this ROM is 5.2.1616 (Build 19974.1.2.8). The XIP is taken out from Xda Atom Life WM6 WWE_RC2140907B2 and the SYS is dumped out directly from the latest ROM of HTC Touch 3G.
Here is a little bit of information of this ROM:
- Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for Pocket PC Version 10.3 Build 19974
- Esmertec Jbed 20080610.2.1
- Adobe Reader LE 2.5.1.0.354273.01(from HTC Touch Viva's ROM).
- The wince.nls is replaced with the one from the official ENG V2.05.96 ROM for MWg Atom V.
Known issues(Haven't been solved):
- The camera and O2 AutoInstaller may not work. Maybe it is related to different ExtROM.
- The server of O2 for O2 Connect has closed, therefore the O2 Connect is just a rubbish... But I haven't removed it yet.
- No time zone and clock settings after aligning screen after hard-reset.
- The default setting of Beam is "disable".
I just mixed the resources together and did some little fixings, So it may still have some unknown issues. Please report to me if this ROM have any problem.
Remember, I'm still only a beginning-level cook. Please don't just leave swearing posts if there is something wrong... Thanks.

I dunno, as I didn't use TranMinhMan's latest ROM. The only thing I can tell is, this ROM is as stable as the official ROMs...

Well, from my experience, the stability of the official ROM isn't a big deal. And moreover, their TCP/IP stack is really poor. In the newer OS versions, e. g. those in ROMs by T2M, it is much better.

Thanks for your ROM, I have flashed the ROM in my XDA Atom Life yesterday, it seems so stable.
but there is around 18M free memory after startup and the camera did not work. how can I use the camera?

Could you please tell me, which ExtROM are you using?
I wanna confirm if it is the problem of the ExtROM... Maybe it is a kind of conflict.

The camera can't work
I turn the regional to P.R.China,and installed the chinese support,then when I want to use the camera,it doesn't work......
by the way ,can you add the keylock program into your new rom?

Could you include "SMS Delivery Report Notification" in your next ROM? Just like Medkid's. (Just a sugestion, don't take it personal)

I agree that the SMS Delivery Report Notification is very useful, but I just wanna keep my ROMs "cleaned"... So I wouldn't add this program into my ROM. But I'll release my kitchen soon so that you can add that into your ROMs yourself.

Thanks for this rom which i also requested for O2 Atom life user & keeping it clean just with o2 application. if the camera works this rom is the best rom compare to others that is so 'MESSY'.

The contents of this ROM you update with :
- Windows Live for Windows Mobile has been updated from version 10.6.0034.0800 to version 10.6.0039.1300
- Esmertec Jbed is still build 20080610.2.1, and the UI language is still WWE(0409).
- Adobe Reader LE 2.5.1.0.354273.01(from HTC Touch Viva's ROM) has been changed into CHT(0404) version.
- Auto Configurator's UI language is still WWE(0409).
- Streaming Media's UI language is still WWE(0409).
- The wince.nls is replaced with the one from the official CHT V2.05.92 ROM for MWg Atom V.
