Please help, after a bad update my MDAII does not boot!
On the Display after cold boot: NO GSM
D 1.03.00 GER
I read, that it´s posible to boot from SD-CARD.
But where i can get a working image for my SD Card.
How does it works exactly ?

that means that the radio update failed.
if you boot your device into bootloader mode ( press power + action key simultanuously, while resetting )
put it in it's cradle,
your screen should say 'USB' on the top, and '1.06' ( or another version ) on the bottom.
and run the upgrade again.
after about 2-3 minutes the upgrade will start again.

Nope, action key is meant to be the four ways key! The key between the red and green button! You have to press that in the middle! That's the action key.

I can't hard reset my Lobster TV700
I turn my phone off and hold 2 soft key, then I press and hold power key for 1..1.5s(still hold 2 soft key) but I don't see any black screen to press 0 key to reset phone. Help me please!!! Anybody help me!!!

Turn Off The Phone , Keep Both Softkeys Pressed And Press The Power Button (keep Softkeys Pressed) And A Message Will Appear . Just Follow The Instructions

i try but not result,i pressed about 2 or 3 minutes but they not pass the screen "mobile operator".i think they do not have suficient memory to start the s.o.because before reboot the phone the memory avaiable it´s a 16 kbites.i think the problem it´s the memory and a hard reset resolved the problem but this group keys not result.i start to belive i´m fuc... hum hum hum!!!

finaly i solved the problem.so for everyone they have this problem you first press the power button and wend the keyboard make light you stop press power button and press both sofkeys and not stop before appear the blak screen so you stop press the softkeys and press only the call key and wait a few moments,the welcome screen appears.the desespere hits a god incentive.tanks to everyone they try to make this site betther day by day and to florinox to.

How to a hard reset with the keyboard?
when I press power button the ppc it blocks at written "windows mobile 6.1", if I attend some minute, it exits to me outside a shielded white screen whit this word: "the device is unable to boot because either you have turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an application from untrusted source.Press SEND to reset your device or press any other button to cancel. This operation will delete all your personal data and restore the device to its factory default settings.
if I press SEND key it does not succeed nothing

Thanks for the solution. i had hardtime doing it thou!!! if you encounter problems. press and hold vol down and center nav key BUT when it comes to power; just dot it. anyway maybe it's just me who did the stupid thing of holding power (well it works for the diamond so i thought...)

Does not work for me...
My Rose Keyb is not responding, I changed something in the registry and now I can no longer use both Keyb, I remove the battery, try the hard reset button stuff does not work, any ideas ?

Strange.
Very strange! After doing the procedures, the rose ask to do the reboot and stop in logo of HTC. I had never happened me in any pda.
Now what i do?
You have to wait about 4-5 minutes then Rose will reboot again and will install the additional software.
1. From the Home screen, press the Start button.
2. Press More
3. Select Accessories
4. Select Clear Storage
5. You will be prompted to enter a code, enter 1234
I had the same probleem, my HTC S740 freezes after reboot with the HTC logo screen. I tried the follwoing and it worked:
- press and hold vol down and the navigation key
- pres and release directly the power botton
- a messege will apear, press the navigation key.
- the device will reset to factory settings
- a messege appear asking to press vol up to restart
- device will restart and begin reinstalling the software, reboot after then.
May i ask what are the applications (that came installed with the phone) that are gone with the hard resetting ?

hi...i would like to know if there is anything one can do to back the information up before resetting the Phone as i have crucial Data i cant affort to loose. PLS HELP!?
There are few backup softwares which can backup almost everything on your phone, and you can easily recover it after hard reset. I personally use Sprite Backup, which is probably the best one.

I'am searching from 2 days a method to return to a stock rom. Now the OS doesn't work and my phone boot directly to bootloader. I bought the phone that was used and inside it was the nextgen rom(this phone is bought from amazon but i don't know if it's branded). now i don't know what i did but i'm blocked to bootloader. I have fear to brick my phone.

just checking- did you try taking the battery out, waiting 10 seconds, putting battery in and starting the phone?
you can also try hard reset-
1. Press Volume up button and hold then press Volume Down button and hold and then press the power button (briefly) to switch the phone on.
2. Keep holding the volume up and volume down buttons until you see a reset screen option.
3. Now follow the instructions that will show up on your mobile screen to factory reset your phone.
