Just a simple question.
By installing Toshiba english official rom, will the Language of the mobile + windows be changed to English entirely? because the one i'm about to buy is in French.

You can change the language of a TG01 by flashing a new ROM. It will change all the language settings.
For information on how to flash a ROM look HERE. To flash a new language you may need to use the sddl+ method as the radio may differ from the original.
ROM flashing is safe IF done PROPERLY, Always make sure your battery is full, always make sure your battery is secure.
There is always the chance of a bad flash turning your phone into a brick. If you break it, it's down to you.
However i have flashed my TG01 well over 100 times and have never had a problem that the short pin method can't fix.

Hi all,
Some days ago I was playing with my atrix, and the result eventually was that I don't have internet connectivity via 4g anymore...
It must have been one of two:
* Start ubuntu.sh AS ROOT!!!
* Start apt-get AS ROOT!!!
The options I gave to apt-get I cannot remember, but I cannot imagine I would break much with that actually... It's clear they ****ed around with it so better to keep hands off...
Anyways, I want to reinstall the complete phone, but I don't want to get a custom rom. Trying to reset to factory defaults resets but then gives an error for booting recovery, which I modified for rom manager once...
So does anyone have an idea how I can get back to the default rom?

I believe that was classic auto correct. Its probably supposed to be "RSD flash to stock ROM, unlocked bootloader". But as post above says, read the noob guide for more info.
Hey guyz im in a bit problem here...actually i have already rooted my phone and its still LOCKED...Now i want to unlock it but i dont know how to start the process....
Should i unroot first? or unlock it while the phone is rooted ? please help.

So it's like that: If I will install a ROM which includes the new bootloader, and then flash the ROM which has the old one. Will it brick my phone? Or something similiar?

dont know exactly since i only spent 5 hours reading tuts and rom installing guides.....so i probably know nothing more than you and maybe i write some wrong info, anyway ill try to help.
btw i think you'll need to do a full wipe or at least wipe cache/dalvik before installing the second one, this to avoid conflicts....
anyhow if you're updating, on some ROMs you can update from previous version to new by flashing it over, btw just read your ROM update guide, it has everything you'll need

what rom u flash?if ella then u want a old bootloader so u must flash ice 4.0.4 via pc odin and after wipe deta n f-reset.then u got old bootloader.sorry for my bad English brother

I'm on a really old baseband. I need to update to the latest modem. I downloaded the new one from the Reference thread, but I don't know how to flash it. I've tried the Flash2Modem.zip method and I can't get it to work.
Suggestions?
