can i just downgrade just the radio rom without need of hard reset?
I use radio 1.19 howevere i am having problems,when i make a call,the line gets droped a lot before it even start to ring,i have to make several atempts until it gets trhrough.When i had the original rom i didnt had any problem.Can i just flash the 1.18 radio without a hard reset?and how?

This is the original OEM ROMs of the iMate, (v1.03). If you run the update it erases/flashes the OS and the Extended ROM fine. But once it gets to the Radio, it erases the Radio and then starts writing the 1.05.12 Radio and fails at 12%. At this point the PDA will not boot...
If you go into the bootloader you can re-run a later update, (like the 1.52.83 or 1.52.113) updates to get the device back up and running, but the question is WHY didn't it work? I don't believe the file is corrupt or anything. It could be that someone, (smarter then myself) my need to xda2nbftool the Radio or something. I've seen lots of people flipping between ROMS so it should be possible? Any ideas?
After this update your device should say:
R: 1.05.12
G: 1337.12
D: 1.03.00 USA
Ext: 1.03.01 (Not positive about that one)
So the new iMate ROM 1.66.00 is giving me some problems, so I would REALLY like to go back to the above ROM, anyone know why the Radio Stack will not downgrade, (and alternately how to get around that).
Radio stacks are notorious for refusing to downgrade and also responsible for making bricks of many xda's. I dont know why it is so dangerous to program a radio stack.

yes, you can, I did this, mine is hardspl unlocked, used mun_ruu and different radio roms, just search the forum for "radio rom".
Yes! you can flash any Radio Rom to a G4 device without any CID unlock or HardSPL.It just includes upgrade files for GSM and doesn't include any IPL/SPL (Bootloaders) in them,just download the Radio Rom of your liking,hook up the phone with pc via usb cable and run the RUU included in the Radio Rom,it'll automatically run and upgrade the GSM of your phone.
Ok. I using SiftSPl for flashing. Today change Radio ROM from 02.25.11 to 02.61.11 so I did't notice the change. What powerfull firmware recommend?
New flashed radio ROM buggy. In conversation loses us, the call drops. Now flashed Rom from faria 02.69.11... Testing.
if rversion command in the radio bootloader doesnt return any results has this become hopeless?
i can change ipl/spls and boot to the current OS on the phone but cant change the OS even just flashing that...it errors
stock att roms freeze at the 12% mark..which im assuming where the radio flashes

Flash shipped stock rom, the original rom the Hermes came with. It may restore the radio rom but no guarantees...

Okay Now I KNow Im New So Plz Dont Flame. I Tried Searching But Couldnt Find A How To. Once I Flash the new rom the phone will automatically reset but i get stuck at the new splash screen.i was told i should probably install a new radio rom. which i have. but i dont know how to flash just the gps. anybody help please.

Okay, lets start from the top. Did you flash it with a new SPL first? What ROM did you use? And what radio did you use? If you don't have the correct radio, a reboot loop will occur, which means you just need to flash it with a GPS enabled radio like the newer 3.42.50. That will overwrite your current radio and bring you back to speed.
are you saying the only way to flash the radio is to use the sd card?

Probably a bad flash. Flash the ROM again. If your phone is unlocked with spc code all zeros and you have olipro 2.40 bootloader and GPS radio 3.35 and up you should have no problems with Custom Titan ROMs. After you re-flash hard reset and pull the battery for a couple minutes.

I have a touch dual running 6.1 which I unlocked but installed the incorrect radio back onto so now it doesn't ring.
After unlocking I upgraded sspl 1.16.exe and now have spl 1.16 hard which won't let me install the radio version I need 1.58.16.27 (this version is running on another phone with the same set up but is locked.)
I have seen with on these pages instructions like run uspl then spl1.15 but these don't seem to work for me. I flashed the rom but still have spl 1.16 hard although I am informed that the device is "Test only not for sale" on boot up.
Is there a sure fire way of downgrading or is there a way of reinstalling the correct radio in spl 1.16.
Am I doing something completely wrong. Thanks for any and all information.

Don't worry buddy, just flash a rom with a radio, or flash another radio and your device will ring again, for Niki roms with radio take a look HERE
