looking for a good/cheap indoor antenna - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Accessories

I'm looking for a good and cheap indoor antenna for my pocket pc. Is there such
a thing to pick up better wifi from my router and neighbors connection - so that we can play lan games against each other and so on? Is there such a thing as a wifi and bluetooth combo antenna?

any good wifi

are their any good war driving programs for the athena .that work in 128pi
I have the 7501 quite good on it's own sniffing wifi hot spots
and unprotected/protected signals on its own using the onboard
Wi-Fi detector or just Wireless LAN but sniffers such as WiFiFoFum2
or PeekPocket and WiFiKnife enhance its abilities.

Best Wifi Router for primes

Been looking around to see if there is a consistently good performing wifi router and prime combo. Since we ain't getting any love on the primes wifi side I figure maybe a different router will do the trick
I currently have a e4200 which performs in the 3 to 10 mbps / -55db range in my apartment which at most I'm 7m from the router. Ideally I'd want something that can do a min of 15mbps constant. Anyone have a good experience with a particular router?
PS. I tried multiple firmwares and settings on the e4200 and disabled MLS or whatever. Still prefer something faster so my HD vids stream properly
Im using a Netgear WNDR4500 and streaming using BSplayer to play 720 and 1080p vids from my linux server ....and never have had any issues

I am actually using the New Asus RT-N66U (Dark Knight) with no problems. But, what is your ISP speed? There is a guide. I am to lazy to find atm. But it talks about changing a few settings... (channel etc) to get better performance.

I have the Cisco e4200 wireless N and it works fine.
I'm streaming from my local NAS so ISP speed shouldn't matter.
I've tried a lot of different channels but one of my main issues is that my air is flooded with neighboring wifis so most channels are bad
I've heard good things about the Asus one, might check that out.
btw my e4200 works...its just not as fast as I need
My old as dirt Linksys WRT54G works fine with my Prime. I did do a channel scan to find the channel least used by the many other WiFi devices in my area.

In case this hasn't been suggested before, this printable antenna dish may help draw in better reception from the fringe. Only experimentation will tell as everyone's situation is different. Years ago, my own use of this dish did help me pull in distant signal and keep a stable connection.
Keep in mind, some wireless access points with dual antennas have one that both transmits & receives while the second antenna receives only. Concentrating the signal with the reflector dish on the main tx/rx antenna will affect its reception for all your WiFi devices. Same thing if you only have one antenna.

To get past the attenuation caused by the all aluminum panel, probably one that will result in sterility
Seriously though, a router OE seller should use the Prime as a litmus test for how good their router is with signal. Not in the same room of course, but at least one floor of seperation and an average expected range. Hard to believe the Acer A500 is actually weaker for wifi than the Prime.

[Q] Improve Wifi Strength

Hi Guy's,
Does anyone have any idea how to improve the wifi strength?
I am using a BT homehub 3 wireless N router and all of my other devices (laptops, iPod Touch, ZTE Blade etc) are able to pick up wifi ins ome areas of my flat and my viewpad will show no signal. My router broadcasts all of the wireless type at the same time and I have tried only broadcasting wireless g.
Are there any tweeks that can be made or is it just an underpowered chip that cant talk back to the router?
My first post, please be kind.

[Q] Bluetooth vs. Wifi

I hope I'm posting this in the right sub-forum, since I think this is not a device-specific problem.
So, I recently bought a Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 and as you probably know, the Drone can be controlled via an Android App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.parrot.freeflight). First I simply tried the app with the default touch controls, but it was not precise enough and I missed the tactile feedback. Then I had the idea of connecting my PS3 controller with the Sixaxis app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller) to my phone (Moto G 2nd Gen., 2014, Dual SIM variant) and controlling the Drone with that. And here comes my problem:
If I have only Wifi enabled on my phone I can fly about 25-30m with the Drone
If I enable Bluetooth (to use the PS3 controller) and Wifi the distance drops to about 10m and I get a lot of connectivity issues to the drone.
I also tried my ASUS Transformer Prime (TF201), that's even worse. As soon as I turn on Bluetooth the Wifi signal drops to almost nothing.
I have found others with similar problems (for example: http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...wifi-reception-severely-affected-by-bluetooth or here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...-samsung-galaxy-tab-s-10-5-wifi-problems.html).
Can anybody explain why the Wifi quality drops (massively) when Bluetooth is turned on?
I was experimenting a little more this weekend and the issue is definitely there. I was outside of the city, where there was no other Wifi or anything. Looked at the networks with Wifi Analyzer before and after turning Bluetooth on. Without BT all channels had max. rating, with BT on they all dropped to 1-2 stars...

Range extender

Does there exist any sort of range extender or repeater?
When I am on the opposite side of the house, or outside mowing the lawn with phone charging, I miss notifications.

If your device has WiFi and cloud syncing is enabled, any WiFi you can connect with your phone will work. Of course, if you do need an WiFi extender, there are many: WDS usually only work reliably if all routers are the same brand and the best one would be extenders that use the electrical wires (common power plugs in house) to extend the WiFi range but they are more expensive.
WiFi
Make use of the WiFi feature on the watch. While the phone is near, configure WiFi using your phone.
After configuration, if the watch is near phone you can turn off the WiFi on watch as it consumes more battery and notifications come directly from phone via bluetooth.
While you are far from watch, turn on the WiFi so that notifications come for the apps you have installed on your watch. This may not include notification while you get calls or text messages. Hope this helps.
