hello, i have a cingular 3125, and i'm trying to flash with the qtek rom, it get to 4% and then it stops and says errer (294) invalid vender id, anyone know why it does this.

Have you gone through the process to application (not carrier) unlock the phone?

4. Try Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2. (The procedure does not goes. It allows mistake ERROR [300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL)
5. Try RUU_Prodigy_2210206_22102109_021911_TMO_UK_WWE_Ship.exe -ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
6. Try MDA_software_update_226102_22610105_022511.exe - ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
7. Try RUU_Molski.Biz_AKU2.3-226102_22610105_024711_WWE-30MB-CF2-G4.exe - ERROR [300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL)

You have a G4 IPL and a G3 SPL !
What that does is letting you start in bootloader, but not letting you write anything because the G3 chip the SPL was written for is quite different from the G4 chip it has been put on.
As far as I have been told, it's a sure brick.

I had before that Windows but my SIM is lock to Tmobile.
I fell after unlocking in this situation.

It's impossible to re-flash a phone in this state.
The G3 SPL has no way to write to the G4 chip as far as I know.

I have a G3, a day i missed when i flash the SPL for G4
Now my G3 is IPL 1.01 / SPL 2.20.0001

When I want to upgrade my old WM5 with WM6, there shows a mistake, error (ERROR 294 INVALID VENDER ID. I tried a few WM6, but none of them work. There is the same mistake with all of them. Help me, please, so I can upgrade my O2 TRITON.

either install hardspl first or use the official o2 trion wm6. it should be linked to in the wiki somewhere

if you still get the invalid vendor id install HardSPL as xtreme_g stated ,then install the o2 rom

Invalid vendor ID tends to mean that you haven't CID unlocked it.if your trying to flash the official HTC ROM then you need to have bought the phone from HTC (rather than a carrier).
Try and use MTTY to boot up your device and then follow the guide for CID maybe?

Tell us whats on your bootloader screen: to get to the bootloader
Press and hold the camera button, while holding the camera press and release the reset hole (while holding unto the camera button), when the multi-colored screen ups let go of the camera button. tell us displayed on the screen.

have you tried to install the AP4 rom? for it to work you have be connected through active sync or if you're using vista or windows 7 you have to be connected through wdc (windows device center)
can your phone start up into windows mobile?

WDC write not connected, but on device when plug usb cable write usb.

ok, it seems you can't boot into windows mobile then, there is a modified AP4 rom made by IRUS that should be able to work.

sorry to hear that it didnt work.
go here, and download one of IRUS roms, they should be based on AP4 see which one works for you.

Sorry for butting in but you haven't unlocked the rom and can only flash the original rom that came with the phone.
have you tried a different cable and computer.
you have to be connected with activsync/wmdc and have an apprpriate version
If you have tried this and still get the invalid vendor then you could try cmonexs invalid vendor and wifi fix.
If this does not work and you still have a bootloader cmonex may be able to help
fyi from th e text contained in radio 1.58 upgrade

ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY
One of these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.

I think I found you a solution try this:
does your bootloader still reads:

?
if it still say that then go here ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Athena/Shipped_Complete_Updates/ and download the rom at the first link. put your phone into bootloader mode and install the stock rom. when it is done, use the AthenaUnlocker to unlock ur device and hardSPL it

Did you try athena unlocker? you can not do anything without unlock
