Hi.
I readed the WIKI but I'm totally lost.
I have a TSM500 (qtek2020 Himalaya from Spain) and I want to upgrade to W2003SE or WM5 but, I don't know which ROM i need to use.
In the WIKI, Under WM2003SE i have about 7 roms. ¿Which is the right to apply?
I don't have problem if the ROM is english, but, wich ROM may I use? and, how to apply?
I don't know if my question is visible and, for problems of my bad english, I can't see it clearly.

Please help, my new qtek 2020 is not working after i updated the rom to 1.72. It seems that i have forgotten to plug in the power supply when i performed the update. the update did not complete at all and the previous rom seem to be wiped out. Is there a fix to this???

What's on screen of your device? "Serial... blablabla"?
If so, insert device into cradle (don't forget to plug power supply), screen will change to "USB... blablabla" and run upgrade again...

Thank you Beecher. I already fixed and updated my qtek2020 to 1.72 using sd card bootloading method. Yours could have been the quickest way have I waited for your very helpful post.

No, I don't have the german rom.
I'm new at this so could somebody please explain how to modify the 1.72 wwe rom file. It gives the incorrect country code error message.
I'm using an orange m1000 from orange holland

Dont't install wm5 aku 2.0 rom it's old and have bugs, you can flash the New TofClock WM6 and install my patch to put in spanish.

thank you very much, this helped i did it like bepe wrote dumped all mui files from microsoft original german rom, after renaming them from 0407.mui to 0409.mui and overwriting the original in windows directory my device is for 80% in german. Camera, backlight and power app still in english.

I have 'created' an function to uptade ours devices with RUU...........
first step, install and hard SPL done by Prislav, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=349900
2º install this wm6 rom... http://www.megaupload.com/pt/?d=5XRZP0U0 (i have put an OS of XB FUSION, and Radio rom and Extended rom of an wm5 rom,) i hope someone can put the extended rom of wm6 on an .nb format, to have the rom at 100% sucessfull!

But if you've Vista forget it, RUU is uncompatible with Vista.

Why to be so agressive ? I just say it's easy to make nk.nbf (same as WM5) from OS.nb I don't say another thing ...

I just replaced the RUU with Vista_RUU
It's now comaptible with vista >>> I just did HardSPL and worked

hi if you mean the touch cube then just slide your finger from top to bottom of screen and the cube pups up

You make great roms, but I cant upgrade my Neo Race with this new WM6 upgrade method. Many users have same problem, the rar witch is att. to the post is badly packed, the instructions are ok. But Neo just stuck at bootloader, I done the hardSPL upgrade.

I had something similar:
Well, I just flashed my IPL back to 2.10, then the original XDA-NEO Firmware 2.15.xxx (just to compare speed)
Then soft-SPL, after that Hard-SPL, then flashed ShadoW and - whoops... stuck at boot-time without any Radio-ROM. Flashed
Is your RadioROM gone or is it still there?
gone through HardSPL (if not already done so), Flashed Radio 2.19.21 (or any release (if it's missing), did a Hard-Reset (optional), went into bootloader and flashed ShadoW again and everything was fine. For MultiX it should be similar

Have you made your IX nk.nbf via nb2nbf.exe? If not... read the tutorial again. conscientiously.

Yes, I think. I'll try a Jestez AKU 2.2 --> HARD SPL --> Gullum's X Touch.
I think this new method isn't good like old one. Old was much more simple, I dont thing the new one is hard or anything like that but people have much more problems.

1) Fore the moment there isn't jet a good WP7 rom available. A little bit patience.
2) Yeah you can used android on your device 2.1 and even FroYo (2.2) only request is to have a Radio version who is compatible. Radio 2.12.50 ore the latest 2.15.50 are recommended

PS; there is be done lot of improvement about android on the HTC HD2 but not least there are some versions where not everything works. But thy are working on it.
