MMS Composer not working with new ROM

:? Upgraded to new ROM after 2hr 56k download (thanks BT for no Broadband).
 DO NOT RESTORE OLD BACKUP WILL OVERWRITE NEW COMPONENTS
 Needed promised Bluetooth headset fixes, didn't get them.
 MMS Composer not working. Does anyone have the same problem/a fix?
Two of you have the same issue.....

Close this one......
Thanks for the link, read the info on the other issue, but refused to do it the 'hard-reset' way, a bit of a turn it of and on again.
Found that the directory UAEContents was the culprit. Remove this from the 'My Document' on the XDAII and MMS Composer now works.
But does it send anything (XDA and XDA pre upgrade issue)? Time will tell.

newbie question

can somebody tell me how to get my xda1 to send and receive mms?
i'm on o2 in the uk with pocket pc2002.
i really would be extremely grateful if someone could give me a step by step idiots guide..........
I think the only solution on PPC2002 is EZWAP v2.5 ... but it's too complex ... it's better to use MMS Composer 1.6.9 from ArcSoft but it works only on WM2003
thanks for that.....does anyone know how/where can i get ppc2003 update and arcsoft?
will my xda1 then simply receive mms instantly as if it were an mms phone?
if not, where do i get ezwap2.5 & what do i have to do to get mms'ing?
make a rom yourself maybe ?

and even with mms composer you still need to put in the servers and ports and all that stuff o2 should be able to provide you with those
or somebody else near you

HTC Video Telephony w/o Carrier Package

Hi,
I recently picked up a SoftBank X01HT and was really looking forward to trying out the video calling using the built-in HTC Video telephony app, Skype, or something else, but no luck.
It seems like there is only one way to get it working, and is to pay for the service from my carrier (Fido), except they don't offer it.
Is there an other way to get the video telephony working over HSDPA using some sort of hack of the registry, or other SIP-based application?
Thanks in advance,
Victor

Answering service from O2 Stealth

Hello all,
While doing some 'research' on other similar Windows Mobile phone i discovered that the O2 Stealth has a built in Answering Service.
That is, you can set it up to take your calls without the caller going through to your voicemail. Quite a good feature if you want to save money.
So, i was wondering if i can have something similar on my Softbank X01HT device. Or if it was possible to extract the CAB and install it on my unit.
Any ideas anyone?

Internet Calling VoIP/SIP

Hi,
does anyone make Internet Calling work on Rose? I have Rose with genuine ROM, unlocked from the box and have in settings Internet Calling option. I have tried to make SIP setting from tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950 but I have problem, I could not install any CAB file I made, anytime I received an error "installation of VoIP.cab was unsuccessful". So, does anyone know where is the problem, why I cannot install .cab file?
Or are there another way to make Internet Calling VoIP/SIP working?
Thanks.

have you tried fring
fring? I am having trouble with wm6.5 but I think your using 6.1 so you should be fine (I think). If there is anything else just let me know
No Fring. It is disaster... Latency, Jitter... If other side starts to speak I cannot hear anymore couple seconds, one have to listen and another to speak. But clearance is 20%. This is not even decent.
Thank you for answer, anyhow.
