just dropped qtek and lcd is broken :S
on the ebay I ve found the replacement but theres a notice
series 1-P/N: 60H00018-00 AND series 2-P/N: 60H00038-00, have different lcd screens

on the back of the LCD there is a flat cable, it comes in 2 colours golden (its his natural colour) and silver (have silver sticker over the cable) also there is SN on the back which is one of the mentioned above...
Now Im waiting for the LCD and then I ll try to asemble it...
I am having trouble identifying properly what colour flex cable LCD replacement I need to get. I've opened my SPV M3100 but the flex I see is striped, black and gold! Is there any way to tell definitively. Please help I'm confused and need to buy a new screen ASAP.

Hi i have just been reading your post did you manage to locate a new one if so where did you get it from I to have the same problem my screen outer layer just cracked without any impact so i am looking for a replacement ,or will it bet better to just get a new tablet.

I have a Folio with a cracked LCD, and I'm also very interested about where to find spare parts. Toshiba technical support asked me for about 120€ to repair it... a new Folio is cheaper...
Where can you get a folio for less than €120.00 ,or do you mean an alternative if so which one would yo get.I tried to get a quotation for a new screen here in the UK but Toshiba will not give me one without looking at the device for looking they want £80.00 what a rip off

I bought my second Folio 100 second hand for 90€...
No luck yet, service told me that no spare parts are available and under warranty they change the whole device.

I was also thinking if i could find one with a hardware damage or something and use the screen...
I found it in the spanish page segundamano.es. It's similar to eBay, but only for Spain.

I must replace a lcd and digitizer in my htc desire x. I can't afford original one. Have You tried some unoriginal spare parts that costs around 50-70$?
What rules should i follow to chose the one that will be working?
Can you send me some links you think will be good so i know what should i been looking for?
Many ppl says the spare parts are separating (lcd from digitizer) or not working at all and i'm really concern about that happens to me...

The item took a long time to arrive (approx two-three weeks, depends on where you live, it's sent from Singapore and I live in Germany). But I managed to replace it.

Hello !
I have again cracked my display on s3, but whitout shattering glass this time -_-.
Last time i bought replacement display for 110$ (with postage) from hong kong, but the screen was somehow smaller, there were bigger spaces between frame and display. Also colors were more white-ish. One word - not genuine.
Is it possible to buy a genuine replacement this time ? Any suggestions (ideally ebay link) ?

A genuine display assembly will cost more than a second hand phone, buy one with a dead emmc and swap the display over.
