i have up graded my 4g from 2.16 to 2.26 and than use flash rom but device stuck now i want to come back to ipl spl 2.16 but could not work i have done almost every possible method to retreave my device but nom success can any body help
G4 shouldn't need it's bootloader flashing, I do not know of any ROMs that contain G4 bootloaders so chances are if you flashed a new bootloader you flashed a G3 bootloader (IPL/SPL) and have now bricked (in the true sense) your phone permanently. Perhaps you could elaborate on what OS, IPL and SPL versions were before and what ROM you tried to flash and what versions you now have.
i use boot loader 2.26 previous was orignal imate 2.16 phone was crashed when flashing by shell tool rom wizad love 2.26

I have a SPV M3100 and I upgraded to WM6. I flashed the spl and radio and followed the upgrade guide...
I want to put back my old spl and radio so I can send it back to Orange.
Before I had:
SPL: 1.04
Radio: 1.06.00.00
OS: Orange UK ROM
Now I have:
SPL: 1.40olipro
Radio: 1.38
OS: Orange UK ROM

Stupidly, to put back everything I flashed spl 1.10.oli then flashed the full ROM but kept getting noGSM and then getting stuck in boot.
To get it working I had to upgrade to spl 1.40olipro again and flash radio 1.38...
I then extracted the radio from the ROM (as its the one I need) and tried flashing it with that but still had same noGSM error.
How can I get 1.06.00.00??? on the WIKI 1.06 is unavailable (which is why I extracted it from the ROM)

I dont know where to get SPL1.04 and is it correct that radio 1.06 can only be flashed on SPL1.04 and thats why im getting noGSM when I do it???

The problem you are having is that radio 1.38.x.x will have flashed the updated Radio bootloader to HTC_BOOT 108.
Reflashing 1.06.0.0 will not downgrade the bootloader to the required 107, and afaik there currently is no way to downgrade the radio BL.
You should still be able to use the Orange ROM with the updated radio, and if you have to do a orange warranty call, it's unlikely they will complain.

@oliber: he's wanting to go to a radio with htc_boot 0106, probably that's not possible when you've already flashed 0108. I never tried this, but it seems that two users are having the same issue, so probably once you have 0108 you can only downgrade to radios with 0107 (but keeping 0108 on your phone, that is).

if i get the radio to the lowest one i can, how do i go about getting spl1.04 back on my phone. i have read the hard spl threads but cant work it out. i have 1.40olipro. do i downgrade to 1.10.oli then to 1.04? or to 1.06 then 1.04. what order?

first flash HardSPL-1.10, then flash 1.04. Never go to 1.06.
Well I just thought I would put this information in one place as I was not able to find a really good explanation of some of it and the rest was burried about 75 pages deep into some threads.
For those of us who are using the newest version of Oli's bootloader, you will notice that no matter how many times you flash the device it never overwrites the bootloader. If you are sending in a device for warranty this can be an issue. But there is a way to do it though it is not readily apparent. The newer versions prevent the bootloader from being over written so you have to downgrade to an older version then upgrade to your OEM ROM package.
1) Download the 1.10 - Olipro SPL
2) Flash the bootloader of your device with the 1.10 bootloader
3) Download the OEM Flash for your device, either from your OEM website or check here.
4) Then Flash your device with it and all should be back to what it was before ya started flashing your device.
An easier way: from olipro's sticky:
-SPL protected from all HTC retail SPLs being flashed by accident (to bypass, use SSPL)

If you have radio bootloader 0108 on your device (ie, a radio version > 1.27):
- If the shipped rom you're flashing has radio bootloader 0106 you will end up with a brick (no GSM error).
- As you're using 1.10.oli (which is based on 1.04) to flash your device, the original shipped radio will not be flashed (needs SPL >= 1.09). You'll have to flash it later with SSPL if you want the radio on the shipped rom to be flashed.
Hi, please help me! my wizard i updated to a wm6 rom, farias, but i decided to put the offical tmobUK rom on it...however once i tried my pc froze up and i had to reboot, the phone now sticks on the ipl splash screen, i can get the bootloader up, but i cant get the love rom to install while in bootloader, nor any other rom. please help me!
it is a G4 locked wizard with:

SPL: 2.21
GSM: 02.19.11
OS 1.6.2.4

yeah i have taken it out, and it says when i try to install the love rom "strumento di aggiornamento non valido" which im guessing is upgrade device not valid...
right would i be correct in saying that it would be possible to get it to work again if i could mix and match roms of the same ipl/spl to get it to boot again? if yes then any ideas what roms?

G4's end in 0001 .. so if ur phone was a g4 it would say 2.21.0001 ..
but would the ipl/spl not have been changed through any flashing or anything then?
it is extremely hard to brick a G3.. what I would do is try flashing it back to an official carrier rom.
ive tried installing RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship.exe but it says "error 296 upgrade only the nbf file cannot be used for your pda phone. please get newer NBF file"
stupid...yeah somehow i believed iot was a g4 when i flashed it using shelltool as i couldnt get farias wm6 on normally, but guessing thats because it wasnt CID unlocked, so now i installed button 1.05 and unlocked my G3 (lol) and gonna install ruu_prodigy_226102_22610105_022511_tmous_wwe_ship.exe so should take me back to an official ship from t mob running wm5 which i want atm...then as im writing this i realise this rom is US i believe...dammit! ill find my original rom that was on it or something as any g3 rom should work now i believe. thanks for your help
i installed the wrong rom on the wrong hard spl. i had the hard spl a 1.30 installed and dcd 3.2.0. now the screen is stuck at the loading screen that says htc smart mobility. and no radio at the bottom. please help and the phone wont sync.
Good luck on that.. You installed a bootloader for a different model -- likely the TyTn or Trinity. What phone do you have? What instructions did you follow?
If you do have a Titan, then possibly via the SD Card you can change the bootloader to the new 2.47 (I haven't played with it yet but another may provide a solution). You are likely out of luck in flashing to any of the other Titan bootloaders as you must be able to boot into the OS, but with you error of installing an inappropriate bootloader you are out of luck there.

You need a minimum SPL of 2.40 to install DCD 3.2.0

Are you able to boot up the device? If so copy the SPL 2.47 to the card then to the PDA and run it from there.
If not, put the PDA into Bootloader mode and try to install Olipro 2.40

Failing that you can try to flash back to an official ROM if you have one.
You need to soft reset your phone while holding the Camera and power buttons. This will force your phone in to the bootloader. You should then be able to reflash to lower ROM. Then you need to search for Olipro or whatever the 2.40 bootloader is. Your best bet after that is to flash the official Sprint 3.35 Radio and Rom then flash to DCD's.

Sorry Hamilton didn't realize you gave a link to the 2.40 bootloader.
If he is sure that it is "bootloader 1.30 for the titan" then I know of NO such bootloader. He has likely installed the wrong bootloader (for another device) and therefore no amount of flashing to an OS ROM will help him boot into the OS. Unless via an SD card for 2.47, beastmode216 is stuck with a borked device.
So, beastmode216, I'll ask again, where did you get such instructions and where did you source your bootloader 1.30?
What is one of the earlier bootloaders? I was thinking my Mogul orginally had something like 1.30 or 1.40.

My mistake, as pointed out by gc14 the stock bootloader is 1.04.
Ahh, ok, my fault as I thought that he had also installed a bootloader under the name of 1.30.. That could've been an unlocker for a TyTn or another device.

This is incorrect. The stock bootloader is 1.04. The stock radio is 1.30.60.
SPL 1.30 does NOT exist for the Titan.

Anyone experienced this situation? Half year ago i have made Hard-SPL for my wizard because my 2 year warranty at T-Mobile finished. After i made Hard-SPL everything went good, i flashed many roms with no problem. My last rom is Slim Diamond edition which i wanted to change for new TNT now. But i cannot get to bootloader through RUU and i tried to get there manualy but my Wizard always freezes on a black screen. I have to get out the battery, wait few second, push battery back, and switch on the device. My wizard boots normaly, OS works normaly and i can do everything with no problem. But flashing is restricted area now! Anyone know what to do with this ?
Ok i find the solution by myself. It seems like that Hard-SPL do not really unlock wizard to flash any rom you want. All i had to do was to flash original ROM, from manufacturer, but the original ROMs usualy contains IPL and SPL which would brick the device if it is Hard-SPLed. So i tried to extract the original ROM, removed IPL and SPL images, and tried to flash just OS but flashing process was stuck every 43 % and i had to remove battery and start again. So this was not working too :-( So one czech ROM cooker helped to flash his ROM 1.1 CID-locked editionwhich contains only OS, splash screens and ExtROM. Maybe here presented LOVE Rom should wotk to. So all i must do before flashing new WM6.1 ROM on Hard-SPLed Wizard, is to flash original rom without IPL and SPL (it is important!!) and then i can flash everything i want. If i do not do it i cannot enter the bootloader to flash.
