It's a funny case, so let me explain it.
I've got a Hermes from my friend which broke the LCD screen, now I'm not able to view the status through the little baby. We all under a decision, is it worth to spent money to repair the LCD ? Both of us can't sure the electronic parts are work fine because the GSM can't on (I check it with Pocket Controller and all GSM information shown blank). So I need to make sure everything work fine before spend money to repair. I flashed the Hermes with HardSPL v7 and confirmed the info with mtty as below :

Seems it upgrade to HardSPL v7 successfully, so I tried to flash the machine but got the following result:

stopped at 10% and got Error 262

stopped at 13% and got Error 262

Im new here and have no experience with my new TYTN.
So i tried upgrade on 838PRO HK_ENG_WM6- first i unlock cid & sim THEN SEE IPL 1.04 AND SPL 2.30 OLIPRO and after start flash with dopod rom.
After 15 percent tytn stopped and lost connect with sync centre - my PC running under WIN XP - so now is device totally dead and boot no go trough win mobile logo screen JAST GREEN LED DIOD -

I have tried a lot with different ROMs but ...i just wana weep .....i dono wat the hell is happening with all this....
some times wen the installation completes and everything looks fine as with Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2 it worked fine but when i checked the version of WM it says its same as before WM5. sometimes it completes the installation with e.g Xplore_1.1 but at the time of reboot it shoes bootloader screen (try color screen). then i re-install the original WM5 ROM and get my device back in action from that BRICKED HELL.
please help me out and tell me the right path to go on...
1- is it possible to upgrade this device to WM6?
2- if yes then what are the exact files and exact method to do all that?
3- I NEED IT URGENTLY.... I MEAN THE ANSWER.?

oh one thing more i have checked the CID lock the answer is:

DOC chip is write-protected!!
Downgrade SPL to no higher than 1.06 and
repeat procedure.

A simple search for "Error 294" resulted in (among many others) THIS THREAD.

my G4 was working fine but once while accessing GPRS it go hang so i restart my device but only boot loader mode.. i try many rom but G4 dint repair then i use hard spl and flash with
here is detail for my G4 "WM5_AKU3.3_Crossbow_BETA" then my G4 alive but only one problem now i've main battery didnt get charge with original charger its how in power status "main battery unknown" so i try my frnds battery but same problem my battery working fine in his G4, how to solve this problem before flashing my phone all working fine.
i also try "Xion_WM_6.1_GER_v0.4" but same problem can any one help to solve this problem "Main Battery Unknown"

but it show unknown main battery so i flashed it with spl 3.08
now it show only
IPL 2.16.0001
SPL 3.08
i flashed it with many other roms but not ableto repair my G4 can anyone tell me how to solve my problem..

you have flashed it with a g3 spl and now you are screwed, your ipl is g4 your spl is g3 , thats not good. I doubt you can repair it yourself. I dont know of any remedy to this except sending back to the manufacturer

this problems comes form my stupid mistake....
but it happen due to spl 3.08 g3(s/w) flashing so may be there is some ways to repair if anyone know let me know..

are you still able to power on your device and get to bootloader to allow flashing? find a rom that contains g4 ipl and spl flash that, its worth a shot if you can stil flash.

any other ideas in how to repair this problem?
I just grab a Wizard 100 from a friend that was playing with a new ROM an now is in the RGB screen and the IPL is 2.21.001 SPL 2.28.001.
When it power on you can seen the Wizard Love screen and then it goes to the RGB screen again.
I tried to run the Wizard Love ROM again but it do the same.
Thanks for the help or if any can refer to another threat.
Download and flash official stock rom to recover.
