I have already read lots of threads about extended rom unlocker but i didn't find anyone that gives a real solution for this.
I've tried many "Extended Rom unlocker" and i couldn't unlock my rom yet.
Is there any solution for this?

What Rom you are use?
Some Custom Roms havent setup the EXT_ROM. Then you cant unlock them!! Unlocking is a Driver setting with enabled or disabled Writing Prodection and make them visible!

I would like to upgrade my ROM, or even update my device with WM6, but without unlocking it i can't.
I've already register at HTC site, but there is no offical ROM update for my Qtek S200 G4.
If it's possible to unlock the rom, where do i find an official rom update PTG?

You must first unlock your SPL and then you can flash any ROM you like.
If the SPL ends in "1" the device is a G4 else is a G3.
I have attached the program for unlocking the SPL. I already used it, and now I am testing any ROM I like on my S200.
Just run "RomUpdateUtility..." after you sync your device. If after this procedure on your startup screen apears on SPL "4PDA" you solve the problem.

i have done the update and it shows 4pda on it, whats the next step to get a rom on it, can you give a short step by step guide and if possible a rom that i can download to try, or a link for roms, i really want the wm6.5, i find it complicated as you can only flash certain roms and a certain way, or is it the same way i have done this hardspl g4?

I am currently running this rom it is very fast and i like it i have added a few items to mine from molskis cabs to tweak it to my liking
MrClean_RUU_WIZARD_224a_AKU23_WWE is also runs on G4 locked wizards. but it's not makes me happier, cuz not one of AKU3.x does flash.

This will help the Guru's determine if there's a compatability issue with the higher ipl/spl devices. (it appears some G4 devices can be upgraded, while others might not be able to. )
Running RUU_Molski.Biz_226102_22610105_022511_G4_WWE-30MB now without any problems. The newer Molski rom gave a compatibility error when I tried to flash.

Found out the reason that the 3rd Edition of Molski didn't work was due to the old "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe" used by Molski. After I changed it to the newromupdateutility_wizard_noid.exe, it flashed. However, I'm facing the same problem with other G4 users where only the Extended ROM and splash screen were updated, not the OS and radio.

Please enlighten us on how to CID unlock a G4 (short of the new pay way). FWIW, the noid change suggested should work (G4 here it works on no problem).

Well, the Wizard Love ROM mentioned in the first post worked. It's using the new NoID_RUU. My phone has been upgraded to OS 2.26.10.2 AKU 2.3 now.
same for me. I have 2.21.001, CID Locked and Wizard love took my aku from 2.0 to 2.3, all works great.
@azapa .. 2.21.001 means u have a G3 device and the discussion is for G4 devices only !

Running Molski.Biz_226102_22610105_022511_G4_WWE-30MB, works fine. Allthough I needed to flash it twice to get the OS part updated.

i have a G4 imate jamin
i upgraded it to wm6 evo8enbefore upgrading i used the instructions to first install RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID and then upgrade to wm6.
my imate has changed into a QTECK (welcome screen)
but now that i want to downgrade and use the imate original rom i cant
it gives me error 296 (the nbf file cannot be used.)
i tried to CIDunlock using the wiki method.
when i run the downgrade.bat it worked fine and finished but when i soft reset to do the next steps (runnıng unlockcid.bat) my imate freezed and did not boot.
can some body help me on how can i install the imate orginal rom on my jamin again???????
By installing RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe you probably upgraded your SPL from 2.13 or 2.15 (i guess) to 2.20 and now when you try to downgrade your rom you receive that error.
I know because i did exactly the same thing with my first prophet but later I found dopod 2.15 . . . rom which didnt change my second prophet's SPL.

Hey all, this is NOT a "howz to git to Windowze Mobiil 6.!!!!" post, but rather a question about "upgrading" a ROM. I am currently running TNT's Windows Mobile 6.1 Proffesional ROM, and I have just learned that there is any upgrade to that particular ROM, and would like to know if I can safely upgrade to it from WM6.1, or do I have to downgrade back to the Love ROM and then upgrade again. Heres my device history if it helps:
Device=Cingular 8125, SIM Unlocked(using Lokwiz 3.0)
Original ROM=Cingular WM5.0
Current ROM=TNT WM 6.1 V1

My opinion is that flashing the LOVE ROM was a unnecessary step. I never do anything like that before changing ROMs (flashing a stock ROM and the like)
That almost answers your question except that having used SoftSPL your CID block is still locked and SPL knows it so you must either:
1- Flash SoftSPL before flashing the TNT
2- Flash the HardSPL to not worrying about it ever again when wanting to change ROMs (my option - if i had a G4)

I uploaded a rom with HTCLogo.nb+Splash.nb+OS.nb (I assume that because there is no IPL/SPL it should be safe for G4????)

I just bought a used 8125. The device was suppose to be standard, but when it arrived it had WM 6.1 custom rom from newbie1221. I also noticed that it is a G4.

Heya man, welcome to the fold....you can tell if your device has WM6.1 on it by going to START->Settings->System->About, and at the top is will say OS:Windows Mobile 5.0/6/6.1, depending on what you have. Since your IPL/SPL is already Olip'ed, then yes, your device IS indeed CID unlocked....but if you havent done so already, I would download the excellent Wizard Tool availible up here at XDA-Dev and SIM unlock your device aswell. To answer your other question, you should be fine with flashing a different rom, as long as it DOES NOT contain an Extended ROM partition OR IPL/SPL.
No, G4 is always CID locked, regardless you used HardSPL or not (HardSPL only tricks the RUU program, you can always check the CID lock status using WST)
Yes, it's safe to flash any ROMs that doesn't include IPL and SPL.
For the Radio, all Radio ROMs has support for all GSM modes supported by Wizard hardware, just try to see if it gives a better reception.
TNT roms are always WWE (you can see the screenshots, it is always WWE if it is an English ROM)
5.2.19xxx is WM6.1 ROM. TNT used its own versioning in ROM, so don't count on that.
So all that HardSPL'ing a device does is trick the RUU? Didnt know that, I thought that it actually "unlocked" the phone, like we do over in the excalibur forums lol

Thanks for all the help. I downloaded WST it shows it was Sim unlocked but I have no way of testing. WST shows that the phone is HardSPL. When I try to flash any Roms I get a Error 300 message. So I used the RUU MUN worked perfectly. The phone is my wifes & she is very happy. Thanks again for all the help. The Wizard may be old but it runs great.

I´ve read the Wiki and the sticky´s in this forum, i´ve searcht for my IPL/SPL Build and read this topics too.
But i´m unsure.
In the past (when the Wizard was new for me) i´ve read that the IPL/SPL 3.08.0001 (AKU3) wasn´t possible to upgrade .
Now i can´t find anything about that but i´m unsure.
Then i´ve read about Soft an HardSPL Flash but what is the best for me?
I´ve read that SoftSPL was better if you have warranty on your phone but my phone havent any warranty because it´s to old.
Should i use HardSPL to permanently remove the CID lock (then i should use only G4Save Rom´s - Right?)?
