Hello every body;
Ihave upgraded my JAMin phone to wm6 4.0.0.0.6 PV-Touch, but without doing any activities on my mobile, the memory of the phone is decreasing till it reach a level that I have to restart. I have to restart more than three times a day or else my phone will hang.
Please any advice.
my phone detail is:
IPL: 1.00
SPL: 2.13
ROM version: 4.0.0.0 WWE
ROM date: 2/02/07
Radio version: 02.69.21
Protocol version: 4.1.13.30
ExtROM version: 4.0.0.6 PV-Touch
Try another radio ROM or reflash, sometimes that helps, and if you reflash, make sure you do a hard reset before you start and between step 1 and step 2 also one, and finalize with a hard reset before doing anything else when it is done.
If all fails, try another rom, the gullum v6 is very nice also.

Don't know for sure it relates, but IPL 1.00 sounds a bit out of date...

thanks for the reply, but how can I upgrade my IPL
there is nothing to do with IPL, it is a software problem I think, try to hard reset, back up data first please
but it will be useful to update SPL and IPL

after Click the HimaUpgradeUt.exe
it show me the following information.
CE image version 2.06.00
Extended image version 1.72.181
Radio image version 1.18.00
after flash the rom, it can setup the machince until it's show the "Setup is complete. Tap the screen to begin using your device"
The machine hang at there, even can't power off the O2 xda2,
I need to soft reset the machine.
After reset, I note that is missing the camera function, both at program, and button menu.
Under the Setting -> Device Information.

ExtROM version: (BLANK)
what happen to my camera and the ExtROM???
I have flash server time, same problems hang at the same place and lost my camera function.

My Jamin is totall stuck at the moment after ROM update of Prophet. I cannot even restore it to Factory Defaults. It was successfully upgraded started once but halted when i restarted it, now after the first screen, it only shows a white screen and stays there forever. i tried to restore it to factory defaults. was able to do that aswell but still no luck. the light stays there forever. Active sync ann LAN is showing Limited or no connectivity when i try to connect so i am unable to do anything. Is there any way to restore it back to its previous settings or do anything to make it work. The first screen which it shows only has the following information
IPL 2.13.0001
SPL 2.13.0001
GSM 02.07.20
OS 4.0.0.0

I fixed my Jamin
Thanks Guys. It worked. I holded the camera key button on the side of the phone and pressed the soft reset key. Then leave the soft reset key but keep pressing the camera key takes the phone in the 3 color mode. After that i connected the USB to the computer and started the ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4 file and it worked. Now everything is fine. Can someone now tell me from where to install new Windows Mobile 6.0 on my device? At the moment if i goto Device Information onmy mobile, following lines are there
ROM Version: 2.20.7.34 WWE
ROM Date: 7/10/06
Radio Version: 02.07.20
Protocol version: 413.1.03

4.0.0.0.4,has some HTC Touch software..... But,mate,there are 2-3 threads about it......READ AND LEARN...
I've dumped out the os block and trying to mod on that
I successed entered a screen which shows ipl and spl

I tried the following steps on my O2 Xda Mini S and after rebooting it doesn't show the SPL is 2.21.olip. It just show the original version.
Any help out there?
-connect your device
-Start hard_SPL-G4.exe
-Push the "Check DOC" button
-> The tool now checks whether your device is truly a G4, if not, it will give you an error and stops.
-> after this a dos box pops up, and it loads the softSPL to your device, to enable hard-SPL flashing.
-> then a Rom Update Utility will start, ONLY proceed if your screen is white!
-Proceed with the upgrade, it will only take a minute.
After reboot the IPL version is : 2.21.0001 and the SPL is 2.21.olip

What is your current ROM, IPL/SPL?
Have you tried another USB port, or even another computer?
try to ugrade other rom (try the new TNT )version but take care ROM must be without ipl and spl !!!

don't forget to use MUN's RUU
make the update on yours root drive !!! C:/ !!! i mean the update and ROM files must be on it !!!
Let the proccess going to the end and if it stops at 99% don't panic
wait and it will end and restart !!!

I followed noobs guide, update the USB driver for vista, then went to bootload the device & try to force Hard SPL.
Inspite of following all given instructions my O2 XDA II showing connection error (Error 260, 264) & process stops, but in reality everything is well connected & correct.
Well, when Hard SPL program executing, I observe, it also not showing my old version @Upload (second stage of confirmation).
Is there any special process for O2 XDA II hard SPL & on vista os??
I followed all guides well; What do you think may b going wrong?
