just one question, is it possible to downgrade the radio? to flash my OS only i use the shelltool. btw, there is no way to use a original T-Mobile RUU since it will only accept the latest ROM (including Radio 2.69). I need a downgrade to 2.19 or whatsoever because of that "missed call" issue appearing with the latest WM6 versions.

You may try Wizard Love ROM, it is also safe for G4.

I recently updated my cingular 8125 to the latest molski 3.0.0.0 Aku 3.2 rom, but has a lot of issues, and i want to downgrade it, to the 3rd version of molski 2.26...
How i can do that? any help?

If you got a G4. Download the G4 rom you want and just downgrade.
I've got the same problem. I downloaded the ROM, but the installer's in Italian, even though the filename has a WWE.
IS that normal? Go ahead and flash anyway?
The G4 installer is in Italian.... Avanti is next!
i was able to do it, apparently was a problem on that rom, i installed the 2nd edition and works pefectly, however i still dont have a connection with wifi on dhcp.
after reading a lot, i find out that downgrading to a previous than 2.x version fix this, but i`m not sure if i can do this, since the device is a G4...
Anyone knows if i can downgrade to a cingular 1.x version rom, with a G4 device?
if so, if someone could provide me the a tip for the best 1.x available it will be great.

Don't downgrade a G4 to a 1.x ROM. You will brick you're device.
i kind of did it, i read a thread with a tutorial, who teachs you how you can make a rom without the IPL/SPL, i cooked a 1.81 cingular rom, it was flashed ok in my device, but then get stucked on the splash page...
i`ve had to restore it to molskis 2.26 but there is no solution to the DHCP...
Do you have the same problem with DHCP? or know an alternate solution?

Sure, check out the FTP. The Radio Roms are there, I am not too sure but you might have to hard reset after the change ...
no need to hard reset after..
and also no need to hard or soft reset before the operation.
connect your ppc to pc with usb cable, active sync connection status does not matter, just run the radio rom upgrade utility.
you can download it from:

If i update my qtek s200 to the new Crystal v2 rom, it flash to the radio version 2.47.27, my question is, after upgrade, can i downgrade to an older version of radio rom such as 2.07.20 or 2.19.21 ?

this is what i am asking too ,clarification is needed to downgrade from 2.47 Nvid to 2.19 for canadian radio to function properly ,if clarification will be confirmed then only we would proceed else no use in spoiling the handset.
Whatever radio rom you use, you can upgrade or downgrade by using the appropriate *.exe file. Downgrade or upgrade is the same thing. The radio rom version is not dependent to the WM6 ROM. You can change among them easily. I mean, if a radio rom is not suitable because of your mobile operator or another thing, you can change to another one and another one..

when i flash NVID onto my unit, and then a custom ROM i can downgrade my radio to 2.19.21...its not a problem whatsoever...and shouldnt be at all

Yu can safely flash a separate radioROM without reflashing your OS. It is a different cup of tea. So don't downgrade before. Succes!
I am trying to get TNT .20273 working on my G4, but my radio version is 2.30.11 and I heard this is why its not working correctly. I downloaded the T-Mobile 2.19.11, but I have Cingular...will this make a difference? Do I flash this like any other ROM? Do I need to flash this before or after I flash a new ROM?
Radio Rom is independent of any Rom/OS,it can be flashed to any device version or Rom/OS working on the phone,it has its own protocols (GSM) and doesn't include any IPL/SPL (Bootloaders) so it can easily and safely be flashed to any wizard device.
Secondly,as you have a G4 device and its CID locked,it can not be upgraded to any wm6 rom like TNT,unless you either upgrade through SoftSPL or HardSPL.
Thirdly,where have you heard,since you have radio version is 2.30.11 and its cause for not getting the phone upgraded to TNT Rom ? As I said above,Radio Rom has got nothing to do with ROM/OS.Yes! you can flash Radio Rom 2.19.11,it doesn't matter if you have a Cingular.
Wm6 Roms like TNT will certainly flash regardless of which version of Radio Rom you have at the present

Is there any "recommended" radio version? I've heard there are some old ones but I just wonder if upgrading it would really make any difference about the phone's reception.
I've noticed there are now two ways to flash new ROMs, hard and soft SLP, which one is best? My phone is already SIM unlocked but I want to load Slim Diamond WM 6.1.

Well I got TNT .20273 "working", but I was always getting missed calls and texts and whenever I would soft reset I would get like 10 cannot load blah blah file and I read somewere it was because the radio version I had. Plus I heard 2.19.11 was the best with no dropped calls and such.

First determine which version is your phone,G3 or G4,its very important,coz method for flashing a rom is altogether different for both the devices.
HardSPL and SoftSPL are solely meant to flash a G4 device and shud not be done for a G3 phone,likewise CID unlocking method for a G3 phone,through lokiwiz02b or WST_4.2.2 Tool, shud not be carried out on a G4 device.
You need to do alot of reading to understand all these methods,So..... get going!!! or else you might end up 'Bricking" your phone

ok so you said that. i'd like to say, i have a g3 with radio 02.25.11 and i'm fixin to use a multitude of different roms i've found here .. some with touch flow, others are this and that. but none of them say anything about radio roms or compatibility or dropped call count. so my question to you is, will this radio rom i have make a difference? am i going to have to change radio roms or no?

I did the reading and the upgrade. Evertyhing went great and my wizard is now running WM 6.1 and working great.
I do have a follow up question though. I noticed there are different ROMs and the today screen looks different (the way the clock is shown, the icons available, etc).
Is there any way to change the way things look without changing the ROM?

Rom Version dcd 2 Beta WM6 (Tried others but various things wont work)
Radio Version 3.27.00
SPL 2.40.Olipro
I would like to downgrade to Stock NewZealand Telecom WM5 or any WM5
if that whats needed.
I have a custom application for work that will not run on WM6
Would be nice to keep the GPS function if possible.
So can please somebody post the proccess i need to follow to achieve this.

I have managed to downgrade my Titan.
Make sure you have SPL-2.40.Olipro as your bootloader
Then using SD card method flash this DCD ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/ImCoKeMaN/roms/TNZ_StockWM5_RUU_signed.nbh
This will give you a device that gets stuck after the 2nd spladsh screen.
Then flash this Radio ftp://xda:[email protected]/Titan/Radio_Roms/titan_2.13_CDMA.rar
Reboot
All sorted

When you did the downgrade, were you coming from a radio 3.x, with gps enabled?

You really should try a 6.1 rom. 6.0 roms like the dcd you used are really really old. Try something like dcd 3.3.4

there are no stock spl 2.x for europe hd2. I think you need to do more reading, you seem to be missled.
