flashing a WM6 rom

which rom were you flashing?
Have you tried re-flashing an original rom?

if I knew how to boot up I could flash but it stays on the 2nd splash screen so I can't connect via ActivSync and I can't read my SD card.
Just thinking now, if I can get a card reader, couldn't I do the 'Herming' thing?

Tried this yet?
Hold the right side power and left side OK buttons in while hitting the reset switch on the bottom. This should put you into the boot loader and you can re-flash from here.

Just put the device to bootloader mode by yourself and reflash a rom. Press at the same time the leftside "ok" button + the rightside "power" button + soft reset with stylus. You should see the tricolor display.Plug cable and run RUUwrapper again.

thanks mate, I forgot all about that

It seems that it is stuck in bootloader. Try to flash a stock rom and see if it solves the issue. Remove any sd card you may have in there. More than likely, you flashed a rom for another device or your phone ran out of battery during the your last flash.

Try to put it in the tri-colored screen (bootloader), connect the device to the computer (the writing on the screen will change from "Serial" to "USB", then try to flash. Good luck!
Same happened to me.. This is what I did
Same thing happened to me from using Ski's Rom with Max Dusk.. The rom would freeze and I would have to reset multiple times then one day it wouldn't do anything
This is what I did
1. hold down the Power, Vol Down, and the Enter key (which is the middle of the scroll circle)
2. hold these down until it asks you to press one of the vol buttons (I think it was up) to revert back to the last rom that was loaded this will Hard Reset the last loaded rom
3. after doing the Hard Reset, get an SD card and make sure it is 32 bit formatted so that you can Hard SPL using the SD card
4. after it is unlocked, copy your stock carrier rom onto your SD card and call it RAPHIMG.NBH (the phone will use this rom to flash when in tricolor mode)
5. Put your phone into tri-color mode by holding Power, Vol Down, and the reset button underneath
6. follow instructions on screen and dont reset until the screen says it is complete
you now have a reflashable phone or at least one that works
sorry details are sketchy, and I can't link the original threads right now, but this worked for me

[Q] Problems with SPL after downgrading from HSPL

Sry for bad english, but here is my problem:
After I did the downgrade to stock ROM with SPL, the bootloader wouldn't accept any connection from the USB at all. When I install HSPL again, the phone goes into bootloader, but no USB is found in the bootloader. The USB disconnects from the computer, so the HSPL installation isn't really able to connect after being brought into bootloader. The same happends when I try a stock ROM upgrade from HTC.
After the phones hits the bootloader, after a second or so, a new screen comes up. It says "Loading..." and it just stays there, no contact. Doing a reboot with the small red button works, and brings me back into booting up Windows.
Any idea on how I may install HSPL again?

are you sure? does the word 'serial' not change to 'USB'?
ignore the pc, doesnt matter that the pc doesnt connect activesync.

dont forget that you cant just use ANY stock rom, it must be your phones original stock rom.
Go into bootloader, if 'serial' DOES change to 'USB' run hspl.exe (right click and run as administrator)
The white area doesn't show anything. No serial, no USB, nothing at all.

are you manually entering bootloader? if not, then try entering manually.
(Power off, press and hold vol down, tap and release power)
Is that any different?
When I use the method posted above, I get to the bootloader screen, and then to a white screen showing only "loading...". It¨s the same result as when I am trying to install HSPL, or an official ROM upgrade from HTC There's nothing in the white area of the tricolor bootloader screen, no serial or USB. If there had been something there, the case would have been solved easily, but it's nothing at all, The tricolor screen only shows for a split-second and then it goes further to the loading screen (the screen that shows only "loading").
It seems for me to be impossible to solve this
I've just had the same problem but managed to fix it tonight. I'm so happy, thought I'd bricked it.
1. Remove any SD card. Possibly you have a "LEOIMG.nbh" file on it that the bootloader is trying to load and getting stuck.
2. Now try manually loading the bootloader. (Disconnect the battery. Connect the battery. Hold volume down & press power.)
3. Hopefully you now have the bootloader on. Plug into the USB on the motherboard of your computer at the back.
4. You should see USB on bootloader. Run HSPL in admin mode (right click the HSPL.exe to run as admin).
Hopefully that works for you.

as red above said, , , you probably have an image on your sd card.
I am having the same problem as above. However, when I connect the USB to my PC, it doesn't change from "Serial" to "USB". I am unable to install HSPL. What do I do?

Switching from MAGLDR 1.10 to 1.11? (go go go issue)

I'm stuck at the "GO GO GO!" screen with MAGLDR 1.10. I understand that 1.11 fixes this issue, but have not seen any clear instructions for getting 1.11 once you're stuck at the GO GO GO! screen with 1.11.
Every time I turn the phone on it just goes back to the GO GO GO! screen and sits there.
1. I tried doing a hard reset (holding down the volume button and booting). It says factory settings restored but it really doesn't do anything, still gets stuck at "GO GO GO!".
2. Neither HSPL3_PKG.exe or ROMUpdateUtility.exe for 1.11 can connect to the phone when it's stuck at the GO GO GO! screen.
EDIT (fixed):
Looks like I figured it out.
Turn the phone off (pop the battery out), and turn it back on with the volume-down button held down. Then, with it plugged into the USB, run ROMUpdateUtility.exe for 1.11.
Hopefully this saves others time who were in my situation.

You need to make a clean install of an official WM ROM from SD which replaces both hspl and magldr. Load Android and via HTCSync copy the LEOIMG.nbh to your SD card root. Then do the steps again but this time install magldr 1.11..
Hope I helped.. Have a nice new year..

It really did save me time from flashing it to official rom, i used your method and it worked for me, direct upgrade from 1.10 to 1.11.
I am using windows 7, when i gets into tri color screen (boot with volume down button held down) then connect to window7, then my pc start to regonized the device, just wait for the pc to install the driver from the internet, then after the pc has regonized it as "something" (i forgot the name), run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe for 1.11.
Thanks

help?!? please

I flashed hardspl and ran an android rom for about 2 hours. then the phone freaked out, and now it will not boot past the pink tmobile splash screen. so i try reflashing hspl as well as normal 2.08 spl and nothing, now the phone wont leave the 3 color screen saying rom error. what gives and how can i get back to stock? thanks for the help
Try installing an original rom from sd card.
Try this
Take batt out reinsert
Hold vol down and keep pressing it now press and release power button
In rgb screen bootloader connect usb to pc ( should change from serial to usb as u connect the cable)
Flash hspl again
Download task 29 and run it progress bar at 99% hold vol down button as phone reboots to rgb bootloader screen
Flash stock HTC Rom 3.14
This should get ur winmo back

Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Take a pic, your description is a bit confusing.
Take a pic of whatever screen(s) u get and maybe we can help.
sounds like the OP didn't flash a new radio when tried to run android, can we get some more info on what you did?

[Q] Need help plz

Hi.
Just tryed to inst. Android in my HD2 and now it stuck with a white screen with the HTC logo.
Is it any way to fix this or do i just trach it?
I am not an expert but this happened to me once while installing SD android.
I reinstalled the original ROM from the HTC site and restored my phone to factory settings.
I tried another version of android and it worked well (since last September).
Only observation is that lately (last two month) my phone hangs a lot on both systems (droid & win) and overheats a lot and when this happens I need to wait for it to cool down (at least 20 minutes) then it accepts rebooting (I am stating this although I am not sure is it from the droid or just my HW is faulty for other reasons).
I hope this helps
I tryed a NAND install. Now I cant get conection with usb and computer
Maybe you can perform a hard reset with buttons
1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then press the END/POWER button shortly and release it.
2. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
I hope it works

As long as you can get to bootloader its ok
I would start over from the begining.....
Does it still show that you have HSPL installed on bootloader?
If so, reflash the windows 6.5 ROM that you were using before the android flash.
Then follow the steps in this thread.
Hope that helps....

Thnx I'll try it later and report back
Still cant get my coputer to connect to the phone.
I get to the "red green and blue" screen, and it says
PB01100 HX-BC
SPL-2.00.HSPL 8G XE
0x85
CotullaHSPL 0x40
I'm on win7 SP1
Ok when you enter bootloader (red green blue screen) you should see "Serial" at the bottom..
When you connect to the computer it should change to "USB"
You might not see anything happen on your computer but the word at the bottom of the bootloader should change.
I might be mistaken here but Im pretty sure you need "2.08 HSPL" although your bootloader shows you have HSPL installed its not 2.08. This might be the cause of your original problem.
Once it says "USB" your ready to flash a ROM via USB as usual...
If it stays on "Serial" after a few minutes then try another USB port or computer if possible.
Enter bootloader and run the HSPL tool and choose 2.08HSPL......
Then start the process from the beggining.
Hope that helps.

Hah your a babe conantroutman lol thnx
Is this the rigth SPL ?
Not to intrude on conantroutman here but yes you have to have HSPL 2.08 and a 2.15.50.14 or 2.10.50.02 radio for MAGLDR to work. Without the HSPL 2.08 you can not flash MAGLDR and without the proper radio version MAGLDR will not even boot up.
So to answer your question yes the HSPL you have in the picture you posted is the correct HSPL.
Yep as T said, hspl is good, radio is good. Your all set.
That guide for installing android at the top of the thread is pretty damn good and will have you up and running in no time. Let us know how you get on
Sent From My Fingers To Your Face.....
thnx to both of you. I'll post here when done
Crap my call button dont work when I'm in bootloader
When your in the MAGLDR menu?
You may have to flash WM again to test the call button. Or try reflashing MAGLDR, that may help...
Sent From My Fingers To Your Face.....
I guesse it's a lost case so I just installed winmo and runing android from SD card
thnx for the help.
btw!
is there a way to get htc sense to work on a huawei u8800 or x5?
Hmmm its very weird because if your call button works in WM then it should work in MAGLDR....
