I'm new of this forum and i try to search in post a system to extract the rom from niki but i haven't find nothing of simply or realy clear.
Can someone explain it?
no one is currently focusing on extracting roms on this device as of yet. We are still awaiting a SSPL so that we can start flashing different roms but until that wonderful day comes its almost pointless....
Any update on this ?
Would like to dump my Radio ROM before attempting a flash of the Kaiser ROM.

Hey guys, i have read all of the guides and alot on the forums, i am also a member at TX and Da_Gs blackjack site so i have flashed new ROMs to the Blackjack hundreds of times. I feel pretty good about flashing my ATT 8525 with a cooked ROM but, I just want to verify something..........
(1) I should flash to the HardSPL first right? If i follow the guide it looks easy.
(2) I have on my 8525 the 1.54 radio and it works really well in my area, so after the HardSPL then flash the rom then i should still have the 1.54 radio? Is that right? it works just like on the Blackjack....the radio and boot and ROM are all separate installs?
I know some ROMs have all 3 together but the ROM i like, K's WM6.0 FINAL
does not have the SPL or radio.

1) It is very easy....and definalty do it BEFORE anything else
2) the radio version currently on your hermes will stay there yes, unless you flash a ROM which contains a radio image. Nearly ALL the cooked WM6 versions are OS only.

It's pretty simple really once you know...
Run SIM & SID unlock, run Hard SPL v7, then click the RUU Wrapper file and install the required rom!
Easy!
Oh and the guide on Vanx's site is handy too!

hey guys everything went great! I have also installed the Cube to this ROM and it works great but, i really don't see it as being very useful as it is quicker to use the phone as it came. I do like how i can look through the contacts and pie with my fingers instead of the sylus but, thats about it.
I will try as many different ROMs as i can get ahold of and i might even down load one of the kitchens and start to roll my own,LOL! this is really changing what i do with my spare time! I used to hotrod my motorcycle or the computer or even my PSP but this is alot more fun!

Ok, so I finally received my new Titan from USCC (Us Cellular). I figured it would be a while before getting it, but surprisingly, It was here 2 days after they advised me it would be sent.
Question is this: How can I make a functional ROM dump (copy) of it's ROMS?
I know that once flashed to a GPS ROM, it is very risky to flash back to a non-GPS ROM; however, I've read several threads on PPCGEEKS on how to successfully accomplish this. My new phone isn't even activated yet, so, If anyone can guide me through a method of successfully making a functional copy of this stock ROM, and RADIO, It might be very helpful to UL this to a wizard like DCD so that he can work his magic and provide yet another useful upload for all of those wishing to re-flash to stock!
I'm DEFINITELY going to flash DCD's latest ROM to my new phone, but I was hoping that someone could help me copy/create a functional ROM dump prior to me altering it!
Any advise?

If you like your Stock HTC unbranded rom and want to use TF3D2 you must make upgrade.
This rom is based on 5.05.401.1 WWE HTC Stock ROM, and there is only one change:
- gwes.exe was replaced to version 2100+.

it wont brick unless you mess with spl or go outside of rom memory
i don't do anything with spl (I don't know how) I just extract, replace directory gwes.exe, build. I don't know even if spl is on rom or not.
Is it possible for anyone to use the updated Da_G kitchen to make an updated Clean rom?
I have been trying to do it on my own, but for some reason I cannot get it to work. I'm not very good with this stuff and I know that if I make a mistake I will end up with a messed up phone.
So please please pretty please, will someone update the Da_G clean rom?

If you're having issues after that, don't hesitate to post a clear description of your problem in the Da_G's simple ROM Kitchen thread. Most of the chefs that follow the thread usually try to offer some insight.

Yeah, the reason I asked for help is I'm not really good with stuff like that. And I can't be running the risk of bricking my phone. Hence me asking for someone to cook a rom up. And I'd rather not use the testing rom.
I'll assume you have already SPL'ed your phone with Olipro/OliNex HardSPL'ed.
Here's what I'd suggest;
Go through the [TUT] Sous-Chef's Guide to Da_G's Simple Kitchen guide. In a nutshell, the guide walks you through the entire process using an official HTC 5.05.405.1 ROM.
At the end of the guide, you will have a flashable end product that you can flash to your device. Since your HardSPL'ed, you will be able to recover in the event of a problem since all you are flashing is the ROM part - not the SPL, Radio, or Splash screen. Recovery would be a matter of flash a different cooked ROM or the .NBH file from the official HTC 5.05.405.1 ROM that you downloaded.
Once you feel comfortable with that, download Da_G's Simple ROM Kitchen (21402, Apr). It contains a good selection of packages that many of the Chefs use at the moment - i.e. they work. ;-)
Then if you have questions, post in the Da_G Kitchen thread - not this one.

Download his 6.5 kitchen and follow the directions on his thread and you're good to go. Load the notsolitefuze, make sure if you have a CDMA phone you do none of this or the above lol.

I dont have a clue on how to flash a phone or backup a rom from my phone. is anyone able to help me out.
All i ever see are download locations to roms but i never see any applications for flashing phones or backing up.
Basiclly im looking for a tutorial.

All the downloads should normally include the two files required to flash: the ROM itself (.nbh file) and the exe to actually do it.
Before flashing you should make sure you have the latest version of HardSPL installed which should stop you bricking your phone if anything goes wrong (see this thread for info).
As far as WM6.5 on a Neon I've not seen any ROMs. The files have to be ported to the device and then cooked into a ROM using a kitchen - not sure what people are using but I've seen mention of using the Kaiser kitchen with Neon settings.
There's no single tutorial, it's a case of reading around the different threads and piecing the bits together. It's just that there seem to be fewer Neon's around so there's not much of a focus on development for them.
Oops the link was to a WinMo 6.1 ROM. The 6.5 ROM I was thinking of is actually for the TyTn. So... nope, no 6.5 for Neon.
I'm a noob as well, but flashing is really quite simple. Just install the Neon HardSPL (there's only one as well), update the radio if you want to, then flash the ROM. Everything's packaged in the downloads, just run the exe.
