I have a qtek 9100 and when i put in usb cable, nothing appears, don´t connect with my computer, still unreconized.
Maybe it is the ROM problem, my SO is wm05, i want to upgrade the ROM but i can´t stabilish connection.
Can anyone help me?

Nopes !
it's not a Rom problem,but other factors like,which windows is on your pc,winXP or winVista ? and which software are you using to synchronize with ?
1. if its winXp use Activesync 4.5 but if winVista download and use Windows Mobile Device.
2.Check your usb cable,it might be faulty or mini usb port of the phone is damaged.
To flash a rom,its not required to establish connection through Activesync,you can flash a rom if usb cable establishes connection with your phone and pc.
To verify the connection of usb,get your phone in bootloaders mode (tricolor screen) and connect your phone with pc via usb cable,watch small usb appear at the bottom of the bootloaders (tricolor screen),if it appears, then you're good to go and flash the Rom.But if it doesn't,then you got a connection problem,either replace the usb cable and check again or get the mini usb port repaired.

settings menu all settings connections connections usb to pc, untick "faster data". restart the pc, restart the phone.
it should now sync fine.

Go into Bootloader Mode (hold Volume button down while switching on the phone). You will get a tri colour screen with the word 'Serial' at the bottom of it. Plug in the USB calbe and it should change to 'USB'. If this happens then you can run HSPL and then ROMs - just ignore the conditions about making an ActiveSync connection prior to running.

But not exactly how you say.
I've plug the in the USB calbe when the HD2 was Off, and after loading the bootloader.
And nothing was happen.
Juste the 3 colors and the SPL version but never "USB" or "Serials", serial appears only if I don't plug the cable.
Load it into Bootloader Mode, then connect the USB cable - and see if the 'Serial' changes to 'USB'. If it doesn't, then you have a hardware problem (phone or cable or computer).
I think it's a Phone probleme.
Cause I've a Samsung wave and I havn't any problem with the same cable and the same computer.
Also I can't flash my HD²...

got another pc to try? what windows you using? stock usb cable? tried all your different usb ports? remembering to right click and "run as administrator"? no usb hub? if its 64bit windows, definately try a different pc.

I've already Try on another computer.
I've try with my seven OS, and with XP OS.
The problem is the same.
But when I plug the USB cable, the computer says "unknown Device" and it's the same on different computer with different cable...
I think my HD2 mother card is probably broke for this.
I need your help. My x10 mini (rooted) when conect PC by USB cable notice "USB Device Not recognized" . I try in 3 other PC but that problem still. Does my phone USB brick ? How to fix that error ?

have you tried to install pc companion thru Sony Ericsson web site? do that first, it will install needed usb drivers for our phone.
@ necrohades: thanks for your suggest but unlucky i tried. "No phone conected". Is the hardware broken ?
Since you already tried 3 pc. Why not try to change your USB cable then?
i tried e71's usb cable but PC still not recognized.
Might be you need to use generic ADB driver for your phone. USB device not recognized means:
1. USB port is not strongly powered (the front panel USB usually aren't strong in current). Try rear panel USB.
2. ADB (or to be more exact, SE driver for phone) is not installed. Try install generic ADB from Google Android SDK page.

The problem is that when I connect it with USB cable with PC (Windows 7 32bit) the PC recognize that the phone is connected but nothing appears on the notification bar on the phone. First tried with original FW 2.2.2 orange, after that rooted, unlocked the bootloader and installed CM7 but it is the same thing with it. I installed the latest USB drivers using motorola driver installing program from the official site, tried with other cable but nothing. RSD lite recognize it if this will help.. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.

Question for you.... do you have an micro sd card in the atrix? That could be an issue. Also, you can look at your computer's usb settings to see if your phone can be forced into usb mode that way. Just giving some ideas.

Try looking in settings of the computer for USB drives.
That's when I start exploring a bit in that area when stuff doesn't connect to my laptop.

Didn't find this function. Anyway the point is that the computer recognizes the phone but the phone does not show anything in the notification bar.
I just solved the problem :
1 - Turn off the phone.
2 - Turn on while holding volume up (RSD protocol mode)
3 - Connect the phone with USB cable to the PC, wait for windows to install the drivers, and disconnect.
4 - Restart the phone, and before connecting to the PC type in the dial box #5.
5 - Connect it with the USB cable.
I saw this advice from other forum.
I know it sounds stupid but this worked for me. Thanks anyway for the separated time.

#5 really works / you need actually dial #5 with your phone app and then quick connect cable
I had the same problem ... I had to send it to motorola for warranty and they changed my mainboard!

try the usb ports in the back of the pc with the "original usb cable for the atrix
also if your rooted download a teathering app called pda.net install it on your phone and pc it will provide proper drivers for the atrix
at&t atrix's had to do this when we were on 2.2 and it sure does work!

my problem is that when i coonect my phone to pc via datacable its only charging its not showing usb mass storage and debugging option and what ive tried
1)i correctly installed all the drivers from lg v3.7.2
2)i replaced my phone coonector
3)i replaced my usb cable
4)i freshly installed some cm7 rom and even tried cm9 roms
after this also the problem is not solving so please please help.....
any suggestions welcome...and thanks in advance...

I use this driver on my windows 7 pc (LGAndroidDriver_Ver_1.0_All) downloaded from Microsoft
I can,t remember exactly why but the I had to uninstall the driver supplied with the LG mobile update tool as it interfered what i was doing at the time.
I have to have debugging on and connect the cable to the PC first then the phone
the PC will recognize and the driver will display in device manager. The phone will display USB Connected and USB debuging connected.

Since you've stated that the problem exists irrespective of the ROM you use, there is a possibility that your microUSB port of your phone might be damaged.
Also try and install the drivers on a different computer and see whether it's working or not. Also, if you can, borrow another LG P500, connect it to your system, and see whether it is working as it should. This will help in identifying where the problem actually is.

If their aint earthing in the socket u plug ur pc then congrats ur pcb of the phone has been damaged

Hello everybody,
I have a problem with my Samsung i5500. Every time i try to connect it to a PC it is not detected as a mass memory device and gos straight into charging mode just like i would connect the phone to the socket charger. The PC does not recognize the phone, it doesn't do anything, just like i never connected the phone through the USB port, but the phone is charging.
I tried to connect the phone on 3 different computers using 3 different micro-usb cables. On all 3 computers I installed the latest drivers for the i5500 and the same problem occurs every time.
Can anyone please help me with an advice. What should I do in order to get my phone connected and recognized by the PC?
In case you it helps you to know, I am using the stock 2.2 ROM and the phone is not rooted.

If you use windows 8 or 8.1 then you will have to extract the file you download from the link above and then right click on the .exe file and go to 'properties', in that go to 'compatibility' and in that choose your operating system as "WINDOWS 7" and check the option below 'always run as administrator' and there you go. Double click on .exe file and follow steps. Install drivers. No need to restart the pc also. (if your phone also do not detect after installing these drivers only then restart).
Can you just try this out? I know it is maybe not driver problem but still you can try this.
