I've done a comparison of the various ROM's

So since there's only about 5 or 6 custom ROM's at the moment I took the liberty of creating a quick site to compare the ROM's. I put them in a comparison table side-by-side, put a link to download them (off my own site [so this can be used as a mirror]) and put a link to my own personal thoughts/semi-informal review of each ROM and included screen-shots of the ROM (90% of it I took myself).
I wanted to share the link/site with you to see what you think. I'm going to try and stay on top of updates and such, and each page on the site has a way for you to leave a comment. So if you have any suggestions or problems, feel free to comment there (or here). Also, if you want to submit your own review, thoughts, suggestions, etc. the site has a way for you to post it and I can look it over and publish it. I'd love for this not to be a one man show. If you have extensive experience with one of the ROM's and want to throw in your own review, post it there and I'll make it live and link to it in the comparison table.
I know I'm going to get blasted, told how stupid and useless the site is, etc. etc. and I'm prepared for that, but maybe you could also include a quick note on why it's stupid, what I need to add, how better to improve it, etc. you know, constructive criticism. I do know it's ugly and using a crappy default skin, but I was more concerned on getting content in there right now vs the look and feel of the actual thing; I'll get around to it, eventually. Anyways, I'm only trying to help.

It seems really detailed and gives users a quick comparison on what roms are available and what they offer all in one shot. You didnt offer a score or say which one YOU liked best in hoped that the viewer will make up his/her own mind and try the roms for themselves... and because of this, I like your post!
One suggestion, I would have liked a few more screenshots of UnNamed.
However, this isnt a developmental thread (just a comparison chart) and it probably needs to go in general... and perhaps even stickied (as long as this list gets updated) or at least linked/referenced in the FAQ in the General forum.
Thanks
Thanks for the feedback Yeah I was wondering if it should go in this forum or the general one. I can re-post it there if you want and you can delete this thread, I'm far from a developer (but have great respect for those guys), just a power user. I do plan on staying on top of updates, with only 5 or so ROM's it's not that difficult at the moment).
I knew I was using 'stock' ROM images somewhere! I forgot to update the UnNamed review section with the screen captures I actually personally took. Done. 10 screen-shots.

Your idea is very good one but I was a bit disappointed because when I first
saw this new thread I was almost sure that you had a simular idea as I had.
I have spent countless hours of testing almost every aspect of ALL the
custom roms which are currently available for our phones including CM7.
So I was hoping when I first saw this new thread that that's what you had
in mind too and that you wrote a comprehensive comparison report of each
and every rom letting everyone know your opinion of the pro's and con's of
each.
It would not be that diffult to do since there are only five custom roms.
(P.S. The UnNamed custom rom is by far the very best and most error free, but please don't tell anyone I said so.)
Thread moved to the right board. Carry On!
did you click on the more info button at the bottom? I put a few personal observations and notes for each from and included screenshots, I plan to edit that regularly and update it with a more comprehensive review as I go along. I have installed each rom ( to get screenshots and initial impressions) including cm7, but will admit I have not spent a lot of time in each rom except for unnamed. I will be running serendipity for the next 24 hours or so, followed by cognition then followed by perception. if you have written comprehensive reviews on the roms and want to join forces I would more than welcome that.

Updated Serendipity to 8.1
Serendipity is at 8.1; added the file to the server, updated the Download link and included his changes in the table. It's all good.

[Q] Which ROM should I go to for a pure HTC One experience?

Hi guys!
I need some help making a decision here. I purchased my black HTC One a week ago and used it stock for a while but I really wanted to root my phone and get flashing. The time I spent using Sense 5.0, I actually enjoyed it. Currently I'm running the latest CM 10.2 Nightly, but I was wondering which pure HTC One Rom do you guys recommend. I was looking at flashing Cleanrom 6.0 but then saw that the dev is no longer doing updates on the rom, which is a shame because that looked like exactly what i was looking for. I have been reading a lot of the different ROMs, but im just not sure which one to go with. Feedback is much appreciated. Cheers all!
Cleanrom is/was a great ROM, this is the second time he's left I ran the last release when he left the first time until he came back. Since he's left again though, there's a few things in last version I dislike, so I'm thinking of making the switch to CM10. Cleanrom is an amazing ROM though. One of my friend runs Venom (I think it's called that) he likes it.
My vote would be for the InsertCoin sense rom in the international forums.
You can flash the Rom itself which includes some basic tweaks you can pick in the aroma installer but leaves the rom visually pretty stock.
Then you can download a second zip called the "kustomizer" which has a bunch more tweaks and theming elements so you can...well... customize your experience more haha.
It's a good system that lets you keep a stock feel or a more "kustomized" one if you prefer.
It's rock solid stable to

New G2 owner, looking for suggestions.

Hi all, I made the switch last night from my Verizon Note 2 to a T-Mobile G2. I'm just looking for some recommendations/suggestions for what everyone has liked. I was running my Note 2 rooted with JellyBeans ROM. I'm kind of liking the G2 stock so far, but I know there's always room for improvement.
OP so there is no un-needed posting by some, I suggest you just read and try for your self Here. And there is nothing wrong with Stock btw.
And there is great work being done here also in the Original Section, but ensure you download your make device. Thanks

[Q] modding a rom

Hello, first off I am new but have used this form for all questions i had when installing a custom rom so i thought here was the place to ask. if i am in the wrong area sorry again new.
OK i have tried a few different roms out and have found one i like best. the thing is there are a few things from the other roms i liked better, just simple things (i think) like how the notification bar looks and and having the battery as a % rather than image.
The question. Can i take parts of the others roms and port them onto the one i currently use?

Yes. It is possible. This is what makes Android so great! You can make things however you want them! Do you have any java skills?

4.4 rom or 5.1 rom?

Hey there guys and gals.
I am new to the whole rooting thing.
I have the LG G3 LS 990 ZV8.
I rooted it already and i am now looking for a rom to use. I wanted to post this with the roms in that subformum, but have less than ten posts.
So anyway, I had a few questions. I was thinking about using the Carbon 4.4.4, but the GAPPS linked were not there. OP (HP Tesla) mentioned what he uses, so i could find it no problem ut had other questions.
If i am at 5.1 should i rom to 5.1 not backwards? i assume it can be done but i would have to flash back to 4.4.4 myself first. I kinda wanna keep it all as simple as i can.
Also i had looked on another rom, and the GAPPS it linked to looked like it removed most of the features that the rom added.
So i would like some advice from those more experienced than I.
I would like a rom that has customization options (many do, so thats easy), Less bloatware (Again common), Adblocker, which not many i saw had listed in features, whether becasue it is assumed they are included, or not many have it, and additional things like audio tinkering, battery life improvements and the like are bonuses. Stability would be highly appreciated as well.
In sum, i would like input to which rom fits my needs (i looked at many myself, but its kinda like someone gave me a dictionary and told me to pick my favorite word, i just need help from someone with a better vocabulary.) and what the different kernels, GAPPS, and such bring to the table.
If some of you would like to say what you use and why.
Any help is much appreciated,
