Got Qtek WIZA200 IPL/SPL 2.17, with french rom. After hard reset, while costumised the phone give me an error: "/Windows/Autoconfig.exe does not exist" , and then costumisation procces stops, without any changes on phone(with all memories and stuff).
Tried to flash other rom, flashing done secceful, phone stayed on french and still stocked on this error while hardreset.
Please help me with some advice, what can I do?

OK, tnx, but will new rom resolve my problem? And is it matter wich SPL(hard,soft) to do?
Get a ROM that doesn't include Extension ROM, then the problem will be gone (because the ROM will not call AutoConfig)
I have the same autoconfig problem, can't cid unlock for some reason. Give some names of wm6 roms without ext roms and I will try it.

Ok here is the thing. I was using TNT5.0 rom on my wizard g4 cid locked. I saw in this forum the XM6r4 rom so i want to give it a try. I was flashing wizard love rom when something happen (electric problem, i guess) the process didnt finish, I reset and turn on my phone, know my phone is stuck on the splash screen, I can enter the bootloader mode but i cant flash the wizard love rom, when I try it i get a 260 error. what can i do??? help me please
Try to flash with your stock ROM (i.e. The original ROM that exactly matches your Wizard and carrier). Then you can install SoftSPL/HardSPL and perform flashing again.
u can also remove hardSPL by instaling nk.nbf file with wanted IPL/SPL using RUU...I've done it. Can u tell what stands for error 260? is it a connection problem or it says u need to change RUU, cause i dont remember all of these errors numbers....

i bought a c550 with wm6 already flashed and i want to get it back to something reliable and working.. this means 2003se.
i have found what i think is a good original orange rom, using isutil i've written this to an SD card and booted the phone to flash from it but it fails about halfway whrough with a checksum error.
I'm guessing this is either because the rom I have is bad or it needs the original SPL.
some questions:
what is an SPL? it's referred to a lot but there is never an explanation of what it is and what it does.
does anybody have a known good 2003se ROM? I don't care how it's branded but vanilla would be good if such a thing exists.
does anybody have the original SPL if that is the problem? All i can find are patched ones for wm5 or wm6.

Well, you could flash the t-mobile or the qtek 8200 one. The t-mob one works and the qtek needs the T9 mod and lang to be changed.
The installers both flash the spl and rom via usb.

it's now flashed using the qtek one and T9 modded. can't get MMS working though.
with WM6 it just wasn't slick. it would keep rebooting; text input was a bit hit and miss, it just didn't feel right. there was no one thing that put me off really (although MMS wasn't working there either)
just remembered, there was a biggy..... activesync didn't work. i might try the olympic rom at some point but for now i need a reliable phone

The T-Mobile ROM isn't working at my phone. It flashes succesfully, but when i start the phone, i only get the bootloader, no OS

I've been having a few odd problems trying to get my C550 to flash a ROM of any kind using MTTY or Tera Term. I had been planning to reflash an old QTek ROM that I had on there, with one of the newer WM6.x ROMs that you guys have managed to put together. To recap, my C550 already has SuperCID, the SPL has been reflashed using Patched RUU and now reports 1.0.77 rather than the 1.0.16 or my other stock C550.
I can enter the bootloader fine and can connect to it using Mtty, making it respond to successfully to info and format commands, but when I try writing a new ROM, it just sits there doing nothing. I know it takes a while to reflash, but on my device it doesn't actually do anything even if you leave it for a couple of hours. The log looks as follows:

The phone itself can be successfully reflashed using a ROM install package such as that of the old QTek ROM, or another T-Mobile ROM I have. The device can also be made to dump the current ROM to the miniSD card, so the bootloader seems to be functional. Which makes me wonder why this isn't working? I've tried flashing with and without the sim card, and also with and without an sd card in the handset, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
If anybody has any suggestions of something else I could try, I'd greatly appreciate it! I had been thinking of trying to find an image dump of a WM6 ROM that I could then restore from miniSD, so if anybody would be able to that, it would also be appreciated.

Please ignore the post above, I realised the SPL upgrade didn't seem to take until I used a different download of spl566wm6_spfans2006.nbf. Everything works fine now anyway.

Hi guys, i have little/big problem. I have bricked hermes, SPL 2.03, before with no radio message... when i try to flash some rom, it stucks and restart at 1%, when i try sd card flash, i get red 00062008 error, or 00028002 error. when i was trying official shipped rom, it seems good, until it was flashing radio part, then it stucks... so.. is possible to help? and, is possible to find some shipped rom without radio? KITL is not supported by the phone now... any solution please? even it i can use it as a pda only... thanks very much for quick replies
Do a search on here for a program called Rom Koch. You can pull the radio out of your stock rom. Then reflash and use as a PDA.

Yes, i tried it before, but without success, because if i modify original rom this way, herm doesn't recognize it as a stock rom, but as a cooked rom (even if i set the same cid as stock rom), and i get red error again... this does't work..

I am in desperate need of some help from you all, and the great rom chefs here.
What exactly happened:
From past 2-3 roms (pandora 1.0, 1.1, PDAVIET-v6,v7) i have been having regular MANILA freezes. it would freeze within 12 hours of flashing, and in the last 2 flashes, it froze within 1 hour, without me installing anything.
Titanium worked fine. untill that started hanging too.
So i tried reflashing the 1.6 official rom, thinking that might clear up some bugs as its the official rom.
while trying to flash it (from my sd card directly) it gave up an error - Invalid DEVICE.
I restarted and went into bootloader again, and then i started getting this error :
UPGRADE ROM CODE ERROR
PLEASE TRY AGAIN
Now i have tried reflashing from the computer, and also from the sd card directly, 1.6 official , pandora 1.1, pdaviet v7, but to no success.
All the time it still gets stuck on that screen.
I have tried hspl'ing it again, it was successful - the hspl procedure, but then still no rom loads onto it.
Even tried using the sspl, but still nothing happens. With SSPL, it shows flashing as 0%, and stays there forever!
PLEASE HELP guys!

Can you get to bootloader? Were you flahsing ROMs using SSPL or HSPL?

i dont know if this might work, try to get stock rom, xxx.exe, rename xxx.exe to xxx.rar and unpack it. you should see RUU_signed.nbh and rename to leoimg.nbh. put leoimg.nbh in the root of your sd card. and flash use vol down+power button.
oh, there was a mistake!
When you firstly flashed your device with 1.6 official from sd card, this removed hspl and the device checked your rom's region id. I guess you have used offical roms from other areas. So the process stopped when the device checked the cid.
At this stage, you should find out the offical rom from your area, and re-flash it from sd card, then everything will be fine.
But you didn't, you tried re-hspl and sspl...and i don't know what the consequence will be.
So? Did you get it fixed mate?

If it is de wrong region rom you tried to flash do you might need to flash it with a goldcard?

Just flash your original rom using htc ruu will do. been there, done that
yeah flash the 142 or 148 rom that is appropriate for your device.. and use teh exe/ruu that came with it rather than sdcard.
what's the betting you needed the goldcard to flash 161? which is why you're having issues trying to reflash it ?

Hi,
You could try this,
1) flash HSPL first.
2) flash the stockrom one more time from storage card.
This will erase hardspl so if you want to flash custom roms again you need to flash HSPL one more time after you flashed the stockrom.

at this point You've got to flash HTC official ROM with a Golcard.
Or your operator's rom directly from bootloader.

Did you try flashing thru boatloader official Rom (from your region) ?
I tried to install the latest HTC official rom but the setup stops at 9%

It seems a problem of Radio... not rom...

You have to flash 1.43 of your Region thru boatloader. If boatloader does not work thru goldcard.
I tried with italian 1.43 official rom also but the setup keeps stopping... Tried also using a goldcard, created using qmat
