I don't think that's accurate. Here's the fine print from the offer. It doesn't mention IDEN at all, and seems to indicate that it works with Sprint's network just fine.
May require up to a $36 activation fee/line, credit approval, deposit and $200 early termination fee/line. Simply Everything Plan: Offer ends 5/31/08. Premium content/downloads (games, ringers, songs, etc.) are an additional charge. Texts to third parties to participate in promotions or other may result in additional charges. Sprint Music includes 150 radio channels. Sprint TV includes over 20 available channels. GPS Navigation includes Sprint Navigation or TeleNav GPS Navigator. GPS reliability varies by environment. Sprint may terminate service if a majority of minutes or a majority of kilobytes in a given month are used while roaming. Services are not available for use as a modem, in connection with server devices or host computer applications, other systems that drive continuous heavy traffic or data sessions, or as substitute for frame relay connections. Looks like they reserve the right to kick us off if we use too much data. That just turned me off from the whole idea.

I think that they state that for ALL their plans that they have the right to kick you off if you use too much data. You might as well go for the $99 plan if you need or want unlimited voice calls to go with your "unlimited" data.
And speaking of "unlimited" data, I need to find a thread here about how NOT to get charged while tethering before I start tethering with the new ROMs.

VoIP on wifi

A friend of mine has a wifi enabled samsung phone with T-Mobile so when he goes to jobs or his house where he doesn't have any T-Mobile range he can enable the wifi and once connected all calls in or out are handled by VoIP and the mobile service is disabled. This way his same T-Mobile Number is used. Is there a way I can setup my phone to work this same way? I am moving to a farm out in the country where there is no cell coverage so I want to setup my phone to go wifi around the farm.
Thanks,

I was using Skype lowcpu cab.. they could hear me clear as day, but I ended up with a choppy reception of them.
One more weird thing was I couldn't get GPS to lock while I was over there.. It'd pull up the sats, but I'd never get a triangulation.

Although this is Not mogul specific it is a similar thing that you plug into your router and use your internet connection to create a viop cell based mini cell tower works with all sprint cdma phones. So if you will have broadband out @ your farm you can get this. As long as you are in range of your airave box you will not get charged usage minutes, however you are not allowed to use data off of the airave just voice i don't know if that means you won't get text messages or not as it does not say in the brochure or video, it just states that you cant download or use the web on your phone when in airave range. The service can be added to any sprint phone for $15 a month and you get unlimited min while talking off of the airave signal. Any sprint phone can use it up 2 3 phones @ a time but if you don't have the airave on your plan you will get charged cell min based on your plan. If you have a windows mobile phone with wireless the data part of this should not be an issue as we can browse the web off of our wifi on the mogul.
check the site out if you have sprint its similar to T-Mobiles approach but this service will work with any sprint cdma phone as it basically is a mini cell tower that uses your internet to connect to the sprint network to make calls over your cdma bands. T-Mobiles service requires a phone that is compatible.
http://www.sprintenterprise.com/airave/
After reading up on some of the FAQ's I noticed you can use data as normal but it is charged according to your plan and is offered @ the same performance level of current sprint internet no mention of EVDO speeds
Can I use all my normal phone functions like voicemail and text messaging with AIRAVE?
Yes. All the voice functions you enjoy with your Sprint CDMA handset can be used while you are within the AIRAVE coverage area. And while data applications are accessible, they are provided at the same performance level as is currently available through Sprint Vision. In addition, data usage is not part of the unlimited plan.
What is the range of the Sprint AIRAVE?
The coverage radius is up to 5,000 square feet.
Does a wireless call I make within AIRAVE coverage continue once I leave the coverage area?
Yes. Calls originating inside the AIRAVE coverage area transfer to the Sprint Nationwide Network once you leave the AIRAVE coverage area.
Note: you will be billed at your regular wireless plan rate for the portion of the call that has been transferred to the Sprint Nationwide Network.
Does a wireless call that starts outside of my home transfer to the Sprint AIRAVE coverage area when I arrive home?
Calls made outside the AIRAVE coverage area are not transferred to the AIRAVE device even though you may be within the coverage area. If you wish to take advantage of the unlimited calling feature of AIRAVE, you must end the call that was placed outside of the coverage area and initiate a new call on the AIRAVE device.
Can I restrict who has access to my Sprint AIRAVE?
Yes, you can limit who has access to your AIRAVE device by creating a list of approved Sprint phone numbers (up to 50 phone numbers). You can create your list by calling Customer Care at (888) 211-4727.
Can other Sprint customers use my Sprint AIRAVE?
All Sprint customers with a Sprint CDMA handset can use the AIRAVE device. However, the customer must have the unlimited calling plan on their account in order to take advantage of the unlimited calling plan.
some of the more important questions that the FAQ answers
Thanks, I will check into this.
I installed Skype from the website, but I get no sound when a call connects. Can anyone help? Also where did you get the Skype lowcpu cab?
Skype Low CPU cab.. it's the only one I've got to work decently with the Titan.

interesting question, and i would like to mention that what you want is basically, all the same cell phone shebang, but over WiFi, am i correct?
If this is so, id probably imagine its a Carrier given feature. I would like to divulge on this more, as i would love this as well.
Yes, its a carrier-specific feature. T-mobile basically has a VOIP service back end into their system as well as the GSM front end.
That way, your phone can switch between using GSM towers or the internet, and either way reach T-mobile.
Since Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, etc... do NOT have such a back end in place, you can't call with your normal phone line over IP.
what you CAN do, however, is set up an additional line with some voip carrier such as broadvoice, freedigits, vonage, skype, etc... and then run that second line from your handset over IP.
I used to do this in my office where I had no cell reception- I'd have my calls forwarded to a freedigits line, which has free incoming calls over IP. The caller would be transfered to my other number without knowing. The problem is, if I called them back, it would be from some number that they wouldn't recognize as my own.
I wrote about it over a year ago here:

No. I had this working somewhere around dcd 3.2.1, but since I upgraded to 3.2.2 and now 3.2.5 it isn't working anymore. It worked well with older dcd versions though, but don't quote me on the 3.2.1. It might have been before that but I'm pretty sure it was 3.2.1 if you really want to give it a shot. I would soft reset after Skype install before launching it.

AT&T starting $50 prepaid unlimited - Compatible with SGS II?

I don't know if anyone's seen this yet, but for all the US users currently on AT&T, they'll begin to offer a $50 prepaid unlimited plan on June 26th. It'll include unlimited minutes, data, and text (including international text).
I just wanted to get a discussion going to see if this will work with the Galaxy S II. It's marketed for GoPhone's (not sure what that means), and smartphone data will be extra, though a lot of us have already been successfully using the non-smartphone postpaid data plan on AT&T.
A link to Engadget, which also includes the AT&T press release:

There is no unlmited data
Its priced from $5 for 10mb to $25 for 500
dumb/feature phone web access is included with the $50 plan according to the release. SGS2 is a dumb phone in the eyes of AT&T village idiots.

Perhaps there's a lack of clarity in the press release, but it seems as if unlimited data is also included (albeit not for smartphones, for which the $5 to $25 charge is applied).
However, it seems that "unlimited web" is included for "quick messaging phones."
Many of us have been successfully using cheaper non-smartphone unlimited data plans for our Galaxy S II's, since the IMEI is not registered in AT&T's system. Essentially, we've been able to access the dumbphone plans.
Just wondering if that might also be the case here with the new prepaid plan.

I would not know, this plan is not out yet I suggest you wait for first user reports.
IF this plan's feature phone unlimited web works the same way their normal 2- year commitment feature phone unlimited wen works, then the only downside I see is you won't be able to switch to "fake 4G" in the small number of cities that show differences in speed between "fake 4g" and "usually 3g but with access to 4g". There is a big thread about this in the QA section, just search for "APN WAP.CINGULAR"

If I remember correctly, the only way to access the "fake 4g" (HSPA+ with full network backhaul) is to be on a smartphone plan and to have them register your phone as one of their "4g" phones? I'm on the unlimited non-smartphone plan already, so there probably wouldn't be a difference?
Anyway, I'll recheck that thread to see if I'm mistaken... or if there have been some new developments.
If anyone checks if this works, please post. I am interested.

According to some, the smartphone plan for "4G" phones would give you uncapped "fake 4G" speed. The feature-phone unlimited 3G does give you "fake 4G" speeds and HSPA+ access but the speed is supposedly capped. I believe it all depends on WHERE you use the phone. Where I am, I was getting same HSPA+ speeds on my old 3G smartphone plan and on the current feature phone plan: max 6 Mbps down, 2 up, on a very good day, on 99% of other days I get about 3 down and 0.5 up. Since I can clearly see that I can't really achieve the max speeds the "speed-capped" plan allows, it made no sense to me to switch to the "fake 4G" service for 4G-labeled phones.

confirming, as I described above, I get the H+ icon on the phone and good speeds, here in New York City. I do suffer from hanging signal problems though (some people attribute it to "fast dormancy" setting, changing which does not help me personally)
I'm on the non-smartphone data plan and getting HSPA+ in my area.
In the several areas I've run speed tests (California Bay Area, Southern California, Denver), I've averaged about 3mbps up and 1mbps down. I've hit up to 5-6mbps down.
Of course, more speed is always a good thing, but these speeds are entirely satisfactory to me.
I'd definitely be interested in seeing if the prepaid plan offers the same data service.
Also, I'm assuming the $50 a month is an out the door flat rate that includes all taxes and fees?

LOL Why would they do that now? You would probably activate your dumpphone on prepaid account and then just switch sim cards.
Did anyone end up getting the $50 featurephone plan? Did you swap a smartphone onto it? Most importantly, I would like to know what kind of data speeds are you getting on the prepaid featurephone plan?
I read reports that ATT caps prepaid featurephone data to 0.2 Mbps or lower (EDGE speeds). Can anyone post a speed test using this plan?

Block Data Requests to Network on SGS2 (AT$T)

Hi community, I'm a noob to posting and I'll apologize up-front. This is my first XDA thread, but I've been a silent creeper on here since the Windows Mobile 6/6.1/6.5 era. After searching here, Google, and other forums, I am still at a loss for the proper procedure for doing what I'm about to request. I have an LG Incite (CT810), which is a Windows 6.1 phone. I'm familiar with network settings, access codes, registry edits, ROMS, etc.; however, I'm new to Android and I won't even pretend to have a solid idea of what I'm doing.
Here's the situation: with my Incite, I have a "smartphone exclusion" and "data opt-out" features on my plan. This meant that for 3 years, I did not pay for data for any of the lines on my grandfathered family plan as the data network is mostly unusable in my portion of north Florida. Where I live, work, and go to school all have wi-fi and I have been largely successful managing things that way. On the Incite, you did the following to prevent all data requests from going from the phone to the network...Start>Settings>Connections>Connections>Advanced>Select Networks. Relatively straight-forward.
I now have a new SGS2 i777 sitting on my desk with both the new and old SIM cards available (as I have not yet activated it). After working extensively with premier/enterprise customer care, my plan now looks like it did 1 month ago when I was promised that I could upgrade to anything "other than an iPhone" and maintain my contract "as-is" (i.e. no data plan). I signed into my account last night and sure enough, the Enterprise Data Pro 2GB had been removed and the Data Opt-Out had been reinstated. I've been reading about IMEI crawlers and network connection monitors...and though I can't do anything about the first, I was wondering if there's anything that can be done to prevent the second from the phone side (like my Incite did). For example, making all background and active data refer to the wi-fi connection and throw an error if it wasn't connected.
I still have 2 weeks left in my "buyer's remorse" period to activate or figure out what to do. Basically, I don't want to pay for something I can't use--especially since I'm on a fixed income. In summary, are there internal settings to prevent network data or is there more work I need to do from the customer care side?
Thank you ahead of time for your patience with me.
You ight get more help in the i727 skyrocket forums, your posting in the Original SGS2. There is a big difference in phones. Sorry I am not of any further assistance since I am not running stock samsung roms so I havent tried what your wanting to do. I am on CM7 builds. I believe in CM7 there is a spot to choose 2G, 2G+3G, and other settings. But I am not aware on stock samsung roms. Take a look or see if your post can be moved to the Skyrocket forum for better help.

I'm interested in all options: rooting, roms, apps, stock settings, etc.
Does anyone know if there's a code you dial that will take you to the engineer menu to adjust modem settings? (e.g. the Incite is 5476278#*#) 3G in this area is poor and 4G is non-existent so I probably don't need those either.

If I understand what you want correctly, you are looking for a way to completely disable data service over the cell network on the phone side, while maintaining the ability to use data over wifi? If that is the case, I don't know of a way to do this on stock firmware, but many custom firmwares include the option to disable data. Perhaps I'm missing your goal though...
Edit: menu>settings>wireless and network> mobile networks> enable packet data. If this is accessible on stock (can't remember, it's been a while) that might do what you want

I gave my girl my captivate ( she had some old slider phone) and she just put her sim in and uses everrything on wifi. Didn't upgrade to a data plan.
If I understand OP correctly, then i think it's too easy to do.
I don't fully capture what OP's first or second mean but, my take
1. If you already "data opt-out", then you cannot receive any data, meaning you cannot access their network.
2. If you don't want to use their mobile network but just wifi, then turn off their network under Wireless and Network/Mobile Data (or DAta network) settings.
In fact, I turned it off frequently, for this month billing statement, I only consume 2.3MB so far LOL

+1 I'll definitely check that out when I get a chance to charge it. I just ran it down until it shut off so it'll be on the charger for a while once I get to my residence.
Idk if data opt out is same as data block but I use that on one of my lines with an Inspire 4G. With that route you lose mms though. Same with blocking it under wireless settings.

Changing phones does not affect your plan unless you buy a subsidized phone that requires a minimum data plan. I went from an Incite with an old unlimited plan and kept it when I went to a Tilt 2 that I bought off eBay. I simply swapped my SIM and it worked just fine. When I used my upgrade for the Captivate I was forced off my unlimited plan. If you go the full 30 days with that phone I suspect you will see yourself put on a 200mb plan. Did you get a new SIM with the phone? I got one with my SGSII and if I didn't activate it within the 30 days they would have charged me the full price of the phone.
Apndroid shuts off data through changing the apns for you.
The manual way is to type up a new apn with bad settings. Voice calls will still work, but data will never be able to connect. Wifi will be unaffected. No special settings needed anywhere else on the phone.

Settings>Wireless and Network>Mobile Networks>Use Packet Data
Uncheck the box at the menu above and you will not use cell data. WiFi data will work just fine. Just verified this on an unmodified, completely bone stock ROM. Changing the APN settings to incorrect values can be done as an added defense, but shouldn't be necessary. Hope this helps.

I'm using the app Android Task Manager Pro Ver 2.2.6 it really helps on stopping the data connection so i wont go over my data plan.

After speaking to enterprise business customer care many, many times, I was advised that there are extremely limited instances where business users can upgrade their plans and continue to use their old settings. I offered to buy an SGS2 on Newegg or Amazon at full price, so that I could maintain my plan (like you can with an unlocked phone and a T-Mobile Value-1000 plan utilizing the "bring-your-own-phone provision"), but the agents told me that I would be "upgraded" to a data plan based on the IMEI change from my Incite to my SGS2. Two t2 agents told me that buying a full-priced phone and then correcting the account was unnecessary as EBCC could correct the plan after the fact (even with an upgrade). I followed the instructions to a "t" and bought the phones via the EB OLAM, received them, emailed the agent 3x over the course of a week, but never heard back.
After 3 calls to EBCC, I reached a veteran tier 2 agent who said that correcting the plan based on my circumstances was "easily" done, but that the agent whom provided her email address had "owned" the problem and needed to get one last opportunity to take care of it. She said she emailed the prior agent and to call back and request tier 2 or a supervisor if she didn't contact me. Idk if she was just avoiding doing it or what, but I waited as instructed. I called back and reached a tier 1 agent who recited the normal stance regarding smartphones. Several tier 1 agents later, I reached one who spoke to her supervisor whom read the litany of notes and approved the plan adjustment. Will this work for anyone else? I doubt it, but who knows. ...probably won't work for me either lol...
The screenshots in my previous post were generated 5 minutes before I posted them--they are accurate. My concern from here on out is that the phone will attempt to download data or connect to 4G (2 of the 3 conditions that will generate a forced data plan--IMEI is the 3rd, but understandably, people don't like discussing that one on here). I'll try out the bone stock packet disable setting suggestion shortly and see what happens.
So with a quick search for a similar phone, I found *#*#INFO#*#* Which took me to the Testing Menu. From there, pressing Phone Information>Preferred Network Type>GSM Only. I'm not yet activated, but I'll reply back if that worked.
...making progress!
I saw a Captivate earlier, but has anyone had success keeping a 3.5/4G phone data plan-free?

How did they get away with that? I've been grandfathered for years, even when I got my first 3g phone. I don't know anybody who was actually forced down to a tiered plan.

When you buy a subsidized phone you have to agree to their terms. That requires you to sign a new contract, which did not give me the choice of keeping my old plan. Maybe I could have made a stink, but at the time they no longer offered unlimited plans and I really wanted the Cappy.
That's only true if you upgrade through 3rd party retailers. Even that, you can call AT&T to get your unlimited data plan back. No, you are no forced to give up the unlimited data when signing a new contract. The problem is most 3rd party retailers can't keep your unlimited with their computer systems, only AT&T stores can do so.
Success!
I swapped out the sim cards without formal activation earlier tonight...no dreaded "We noticed that you're using a smartphone..." text! (At least not yet). Packet data was enabled in the network settings--it seemed to have no effect. From as far as I can tell, the process involves the following...
I came from a grandfathered plan with a smartphone exclusion and data opt-out. I upgraded online and then called [enterprise] customer care and got both items added back along with getting my IMEI updated as available for the opt-out. That seems to be it. Nothing on the phone side. From what multiple tier 2 agents have told me, that will absolutely not work with an iPhone, but who cares about iPhones anyways
I'm curious which combination of data block, smartphone exclusion, and IMEI database update are necessary to make that work for others in situations similar to mine (useless data network where I live/ commute). Will this work with a dumbphone and a data opt-out (block)? I don't know. Perhaps someone who's in a position to upgrade could try it. Using a 3G sim card in a dumbphone, call customer care (611) and request a wix block/ data opt-out on that line. I doubt they'll put the smartphone exclusion on it if it's not a smartphone--if it is then they'll probably put a data plan on instead. After you can log into the online account management, check the features on the line and verify the data opt-out and then try to put your 3G sim into a 4G smartphone and make some calls. Warning: in the event that you weren't intending to upgrade to a smartphone anyways, you might cause yourself a lot of headache getting the data back off once your sim is back in your original non-smartphone (assuming that data block by itself isn't enough to curb the data). Please chime in if it worked because I'm sure there's at least a few members who would be interested.
Loving the Samsung Galaxy S II and XDA...I can't wait to decide which mods I'm going to do first...
Response to the "Dandrumheller":

Over 100 GB roaming in 25 days?! To quote Nappa: "there's no way that can be right!" Bug? photoshop?
If that's true you definitely should have got contacted by your carrier already.

Post links much?
They claim it is unlimited. someone needs to flat out press criminal charges against sprint if they cancel an account for going over 5gbs. lol. so the CEO should go to jail for being a **** and a loser. and so on... Giving them a fine or trying to get money out of them is a waste of time. because the ones that make the choices are not held for their criminal actions.
TL;DR? I can't post the link, so google "Terms & Conditions - Sprint" if you want the whole deal. Per the aforementioned:
Sprint reserves the right, without notice, to deny, terminate, modify, disconnect or suspend service if off-network usage in a month exceeds: (1) voice: 800 min. or a majority of minutes; or (2) data: 300 megabytes or a majority of kilobytes.

Really? I've been on Verizon speedy network and I haven't even used 250 mb on sprints network. So how am I to blame? If anything I help preserve sprints crappy service and speeds by not using their network.

Because Sprint has to pay Verizon for every MB you use, thus raising prices in the long run for the rest of us.

Make you you double check you bill because even though the website says that you have unlimited they will still charge you something like $0.50 a megabyte over 300MB
And that's why sprint got pissed off at you. They lose money when you roam off another carrier's tower's. That's why you only get 300 mb data roaming when they claim you get unlimited. Easiest way to lose your service wiith them. It's not illegal to flash your phone over to another carrier. That's what I would do. It maybe possible to flash over to Verizon, but you can definitely flash over to boost, virgin mobile, metro pcs and page plus.

T-mobile Data Throttle

Is it possible to hide your data usage from T-mobile so they can not track where usage is in relation to the cap?
Are there any workarounds to no be throttled by T-mobile?
I have read this is all on t-mobile's side, device usage is identified by the IMEI and phone number. If there was a way to obstruct that data (identifying information) being sent to T-mobile, maybe that would avoid throttle.
Any other ideas? Is there a forum already started for this topic?
You want people to help you steal service?

I agree with McDeadagain
How is he being a troll when he is correct in his response.
When a wireless carrier charges you for certain amount of data and throttles you after that, and your trying to avoid the throttling by hiding how much data your using, your essentially stealing service. Thats how i see it..
Lets use a different analogy.
Your in your car on a highway with a speed limit of 60. Your doing 90. Is it illegal? Cop didnt catch you so i guess its right? WRONG.. its illegal.. You just didnt get a ticket for performing the illegal act.
Heres a better answer. Move to a different plan that doesnt throttle after so much data usage. Pay more for the premium service. After all your expecting a premium unlimited amount of unthrottled data so pay for it..
It is far more likely that the OP wants to use the mobile hotspot with unlimited high speed. TMO doesn't sell tethering with unlimited High Speed access. I believe one can purchase an additional 15 Gb with the unlimited high speed, but that is all. The other plans include tethering, but of course they are limited in their high speed data (I personally have 2GB).
Or else he wants unlimited high speed while paying for only 500mb or 2 gb.
if what you want is to have unlimited hotspot without further charges there are a copule of threads on xda that can help, but if its just plain cell 4g data consumption you wanna hide then no you cannot, there maybe ways to preserve data but then ur stuck with slow speeds so its not cenvenient.

T-Mobile doesn't monitor your usage by IMEI which is just the hardware serial number. If they did you could just move your sim. They monitor it by your IMSI which is your account id. While some APN's and some network nodes are found from time to time that don't have throttling enabled, when they are found they are corrected. Just buy the unlimited plan, its not like T-Mobile charges a ton for it.
If you are asking for the tethering, then that's a whole different discussion which actually can be fruitful.
Yeah you can't hide data usage but if your like me, I have the unlimited data unthrottled plan that doesn't include tether. Yet through a hack I tether 10GB-20GB per month unthrottled.

YOU CAN'T EVER HIDE YOUR USAGE FROM YOUR PROVIDER.
Regardless of VPN or any other jazz you use to attempt this, they will always have the upper hand on you. Think about it like this: your a small town in a city which only access to the rest of the world is via one street and one highway, that street and highway is provided to you by T-Mobile.
Enough said.
If you want to traffic more, pay more, otherwise stay within your boundaries.

For starters he needs knowledge on decompiling and recompiling APKs. You must edit the APN.xml located in the framework-res.apk, deleting the hidden tether APN and removing the read only state from T-Mobile APNs.

Hi, which values specifically do we need to remove on apns.xml file? There are bunch of hidden tether APN lines with different values. Remove all? Also, after those steps, do we need to do something else?
Thanks!

You can either remove the segment that indicates hidden or the entire line. I couldn't remember which line applied to me so I removed all the hidden segments (with find and replace). And I replaced all the 'webpc' (or whatever it is) with 'fast' for the address. Because I only removed the hidden segment I still have a tethering apn but it's visible and editable.

Avoid Throttle = Getting the unlimited service that I paid for
I am finding my 4g service throttled down to 2kbs I can not even use Google Navigation with that. I was told that my throttle would never go below 3g speeds as long as 3g is available and it is. I had a 3g phone with the same company for 6 years before upgrading and my speeds were always 1.1 to 1.5Mbs. I would be very happy with that. I am only trying to get what I was promised and what I pay for.

I pay for unlimited 4G LTE service, but I was told after multiple customer service calls that I'm being throttled due to my high data usage. I would find a hack to avoid said throttling quite morally correct, in my case.
@metropcsflash - What @PunishedSnake is trying to alert you to is that Throttling is at 2G speeds. NOT 3G. You were either misinformed by the TMO rep, or you heard what you wanted to hear. Either way if you do a small bit of research you will see that TMO does not give you 3G speeds throttled. Lets also loose the term 2G and 3G. When it comes to TMO that is a bit of a gray area. Since they called HSDPA+ 4G when it was really 3.5G and truly 4G is LTE.
In this case 2G is GPRS/EDGE speeds and 3G would be HSDPA/+.
So with that said, you will not get 1 meg or close to it being throttled. SO if you are expecting that you should move to a different carrier or go back and confront the sales person who you said told you that.
So to re-coupe, you have 3 options.
1 is to upgrade the rate plan to one that has no throttling after a certain amount of data is used.
2 understand that you will not get 3g / 1 meg of DL speed with your current plan because TMO doesnt offer it. The rep misinformed you or you heard wrong.
3 move on to a carrier that fits your financial needs and data needs.
