I have searched multiple forums and installed replacement files plus reg. edits and still can not get a reasonable use of the headset. It will activate MS Voice Command but will not take any command.
For those who are successfully using bluetooth headset with WM 6.1 and vx6800, please include in your post the method used to fix the problem and the headset that you are using. Still trying to decide if it is just the headsets I am using: Motorola HS850 and Plantronics 665.
I'm using a Nokia Bluetooth car kit (HF-33W) and its not behaving well either. Not exactly the same as a headset, but related. I thought it might be the bluetooth drivers not fully supporting the handsfree profile 1.5. Anyway, my speakerphone pairs with my Mogul and handles two-way voice, but the answer button doesn't have any effect with WM6.1. It works fine witht he stock 3.35 ROM.
No problems with a PPC6800 (Alltel) and NexVision's newest Rom (6.1). MS Voice Command works great. Answer is working fine, so do all of the media controls. I'm using Motorola HT820. I'll have to try this on my buddies vx6800 now to see if my headset will work with his. He's using NexVision also. I'll post my findings...
No problems at all with xv6800 on vzw with ms voice command and plantronics discovery 665. Never drops, always accepts commands etc. Using wm 6.1 on a custom rom based off dcd 3.0.1
Is The Microsoft Voice you are referring to the one included in DCD's Kitchen?

Are you using Voice Command from the Kitchen or retail? Did you use any of the fixes? Could you post the version build of voice command?
I have tried the retail and the one in the dcd kitchen, with and without fixes. My Plantronics 665 will activate VC but will not accept any commands. This has been frustrating.
i tried to flash again and i dont seem to have the wifi issue anymore but my bluetooth issue is driving me nuts. i can connect and use my jawbone fine but after some time i lose the connection. i can open the phone after some length of time and it will show the little headset in the display but as soon as i hit send it diapears. i also noticed that in the wireless today plugin it also will show it as being connected. if i open the comm mgr and reconnect the jawbone i can use it fine until i try and use it again later.
anyone have any suggestions?

looking for any working rom build
I am wondering if it is my hardware? I have had this same problem on all DCD builds and radios. If someone would be willing to share a rom build that they have working on Verizon, I would be very thankful. At least then I could eliminate my phone hardware as the problem.
my bluetooth is disobedient as well.
I can't answer calls by pressing the talk button on the headset but i can hangup by pressing it. weird.
DCD 3.0.1
Bluespoon AX
BTW I'm kinda new to the PPC scene. Who is Nextvision? pro/con between DCD and NextVision?

I'm using MS Voice Command from PPCGeeks_OEM archive that I imported into dcd's kitchen. Version build is 1.6.17913. I'm using no fixes, just cooked it into my rom and it works with my 665 flawlessly.

I will keep trying and replace the one in my dcd kitchen with the one you referenced.
Did you add any of the other Bluetooth options to your build from the kitchen?

Mine is the same.
The version of VC that I used as retail install and prev. used in my build is the same. never Had problems with my headset with prev. phones. I have tried on a clean build to avoid any conflicts and the same result:
able to activate VC, but it will not recieve commands.
Without the headset VC works great. Any suggestions?

Don't know what to tell you....
I'd try downloading the PPCGeeks OEM Archive and extract the Voice Command OEM out of there. Then drop it inside the OEM folder of dcd's kitchen. I'd say download a fresh kitchen too. Cook up a new rom, flash, and see if it helps.

Starting with a fresh kitchen is a great idea. Thanks Again.
I will update after more work. It helps to know that it is working for you.
Still No Go !!
new DCD Kitchen, pulled VC 1.6 out of PPC_geeks OEM, then made build with only changin carrier to vzw, added MMS-vzw and VC1.6.
Flashed without problems.....
Same Problem..pairs to headset, will activate VC, but doesn't respond to command and no return output to headset.
If there is any step that I missed ....someone help.
The only odd thing is with the pairing of the headset. Any other phone when I paired, it would ask for the passkey. It does not do that with my phone. And yes i selected the security tab passkey required box. this could be my problem, but I have not been able to figure out how to resolve it.
Man in misery....Please Help!
Steps to Solution
For any who might be interested:
Flashed phone back to stock and still unable to use my bluetooth headset.
Returned to Mother (verizon store) and they replaced the phone.
Tech guy asked how I liked the phone and had to bite my touge not to tell him it is great once you flash with a DCD build.
Now my bluetooth headset works great with my stock phone.
Once home it is off to reflashing again.....
thanks to all on this forum and especially DCD our leader for all the work
Misery no longer....
I have the Verizon XV6800 on DCD 3.0.0 with some of my modifications and my headsets work fine.
At first I bought a Motorola S705 and the stereo output for music is the Best I have found on any other stereo bluetooth headset. But the quality of the calls sucked horribly with my device so I was forced to buy another headset just for calls.
My other headset is a Motorola H12. I tried this one and the Jawbone and in my opinion this one is way better then the Jawbone in looks, quality, and performance.

Greetings everyone,
May I ask you for help with my newly purchased 7501. I installed iGuidance 3.01 to navigate with the internal GPS. However every time the iGuidance user interface goes "full screen" the program will just quit. The same program works just fine on my Axim X51v running WM5. I can't think of any reason for this. The software can fix to satellites just fine. It will just quit when going into "full screen", which drives me crazy. Could anyone help me please? Thanks a lot!!!
known bug
hi,
Sorry to tell you this, but this is a known bug with iguidance 3.01. There is NO PATCH to fix this. You have to buy ver 4.0 to to get the "fix" for this problem.
Alternately, you can go back to ver 3.0, but that causes some problems with gprs. I've gone through all this crap myself, and these are the only options.

Thanks for telling me. What's GPRS?
GPRS is is the cell phone data protocal (internet on your phone).
Thanks mate. I put iG4.0 on it and the problem is gone.
After so many of you have asked us over and over we finally added support for using the internal speaker with our WM 5/6 softphone AGEphone Mobile. Up until now all VoIP-software had to cope with the problem that only the external speaker could be used on most devices. AGEphone Mobile 2.76 Speakerswitch Edition (changelog) makes it possible for the very first time to use internet telephony just like any other call without the need for a headset or advanced echo cancellation. The latest version has the potential to run on almost any HTC device, but for now we have confirmed support for
HTC Trinity
HTC Hermes
HTC Touch: There is a new audio driver from HTC that seems to enable speaker switching on all HTC Touch devices without a ROM change. So just save yourself the reflashing process and download the .CAB file attached to post #280. Please don't forget to backup before you try to install this! Also, do NOT try to install any other Touch models (see post #364)!
HTC Touch Dual
HTC Touch Pro: Latest reports (see post #448 and #461) indicate that speaker switching is working on this device. Please grab the AGEphone Mobile 2 demo, go to the audio settings (page 2) and enable "Switch Speakers during Call". After that close the settings, close AGEphone Mobile and restart your device. This way you can make sure whether or not it works with your ROM without investing anything but 5 minutes of your time.
HTC Touch HD
HTC Touch 3G: One user confirmed it to be working in post #478 but was complaining about audio dropouts. Please post to confirm or dismiss this.
HTC Kaiser: T-Mobile MDA Vario III users should take a look at post #345 for more information.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Toshiba TG-01: Tested with the Docomo (Japan) and O2 (Germany) WM 6.1 ROMs. Might work on WM 6.5 as well. Please report!
OMAP devices: There is a new audio driver from HTC that seems to enable speaker switching on some OMAP devices. You can find the necessary .CAB file attached to post #280. Please don't forget to backup before you try to install this!
In many cases not all ROMs will work for a specific device as their audio drivers don't support rerouting the audio even if the device itself does. We plan to gradually extend the functionality until we cover all relevant Windows Mobile 5 / 6 devices and all available ROMs so that nobody ever needs to look back to normal calls! After starting the program just make sure you go to "3. Audio" (page 2) in the settings and activate "Switch Speakers during Call". Please always make sure that your data is backed up when testing the option for the first time: The feature is experimental and may lock up your device to the point where it needs a hard reset... it would definitely be a pity for your data!
Regardless whether or not speaker switching works on your device, please attach your basic log file to the thread so the we can improve the functionality for everyone. The log option can be found under "Menu - About - More...". Just press "Save" and the program informs you where you can find the "Info.txt" it created. You can trim the file down to Hardware Information, System Information and Driver Enumeration as shown in post #285. Please also add which ROM you are using as it can be quite a chore finding the correct distribution. If you want to make things 100% complete you can also attach the "wavedev.dll" from your Windows folder provided it can be copied. Happy logging
AGEphone Mobile 2.76 Speakerswitch Edition can be downloaded directly here. The program costs $35 USD and there is a free trial version available. I'm looking forward to your remarks and questions here in the thread, by mail to [michael // ageet // com] or in the page chat on our homepage!
Mogul/Titan (6800)
Wow. Finally, someone has resolved this. Congratulations and great job.
Now, to make me a customer, please add the Titan (Mogul) HTC 6800 to the list of phones you plan to support.
Thanks.
Trying to add my own SIP server but getting an error message:
The available data is insufficiant or wrong. Please check again.
Tried everything but keeps returning with this message. Can you give me a solution?
It is working now. Needed to add Username and authorization to save it.
im excited!
I have to get my voip running again on my Kaiser first.
But is this app a voip client also?
Is possible to redirect the calls to internal speakerphone using skype mobile or fring?
thank you
@jmmertens: Many connection and provider related problems can't be resolved without having a closer look at your configuration and the output AGEphone Mobile generates while trying to connect to your provider. To protect private settings like username and password we never (or rarely) ask for your configuration files but rather request two types of logs. The more general one can be found under "Menu - About - More...". Please press "Save" and the program informs you where you can find the "Info.txt" it created. The more detailed configuration file will only be generated on request as it would get too big if it was running all the time. You can set AGEphone to write this log under "Menu - Settings - Maintenance" and there "Create Detailed Log". The program informs you that this will decrease your available disk space and you should only leave the option enabled until you have encountered your problem again. The "log.txt" file can be found under "My Documents \ My Phone Booth". Please send the log files to michael//ageet//com (you know what to make of this

@GLO: AGEphone Mobile 2.5 is a full blown VoIP-softphone that doesn't need the Windows Mobile client to run. Actually it goes way beyond what Microsoft's crippleware offers(not that I blame them as the providers didn't want functional VoIP in WM6).
@nazzza: The function is closely related the AGEphone Mobile's audio processing and can't be used by other applications.
Is there a setup guide?
if not what is Realm and Registrar in the SIP Server info page?
and how do you toggle between your VSPs?
Does it support dial plans or least cost routing?
thanks
@GLO: Our setup (there's no guide covering the new version as of now, but feel free just to ask here) has a few options more than your average VoIP-softphone as we try to support all kinds of providers around teh world. Some (especially Japanese providers) use more exotic and obscure settings and that's what you need Realm and registrar for sometimes. But usually Realm + username merely equals your SIP-URI ([email protected]) and if the registrar is different from the normal SIP-Server your provider usually says so. Just as an example:
Realm: voipbuster.com
Domain: voipbuster.com
Server: sip.voipbuster.com
Registrar: sip.voipbuster.com
would be a typical setup for one of the many Betamax VoIP-Providers (to be found here in overview).
Toggling between your VSPs can be done using the Provider Quickswitch by pressing [Enter], the [Action Button] or double tapping the touch screen. You can also hold the button / screen a bit longer and you get to see your provider list to choose from.
Apart fom that AGEphone Mobile 2.5 currently does not support dial plans or least cost routing. We have plans for the future in that area to cater to people with more complex setups where the Provider Quickswitch is of little or no help anymore.
Htc Touch Elfin external speaker
Hello Falk,
I have it working but not with the internal speaker on my Touch Elfin (Touch XL). All sound comes from the external speaker.
We are running SpheriCall.
Any other setting that I missed?
------
Touch Elfin is working now too! Did a reset and now it works!
-------
I have the HTC Touch Cruise(Polaris) working with the internal speaker. Audio Settings speaker Default and in Interface Switch speakers during call.
@jmmertens: Please send me the your log files by PM or mail and I will take a closer look at this. It seems that there are some problems with the Touch that need to be ironed out.
Sorry was to quick posting
Can confirm now that it works on the HTC Touch Elfin and the HTC Touch Cruise. Well done!!
Have to do some extended testing to see if it works without problems. One thing I noticed is the volume this is much louder that the standard Voip from Microsoft.
Nice to hear that! When you say that the volume is louder, do you mean it in a good or bad (artifacts) way? I seem to recall that people were complaining that the volume was too low with the MS SIP-implementation, but I may be wrong about that one.
just used the trial version on my trinity. Works great. The sound comes from the earpiece! Thank you!
There is one issue i found though. I tried to establish connection with a PC running the voipcheap.com SIP client, but it says that the AGEphone does not support encrypted calls. Is there a way to allow encrypted calls in AGEphone?
The volume is perfect now. When I put the slider to the max it is really loud in a good way. This is much better that MS sip.
thanks Falk,
I have it set up and have called my landline to see what happens with the speaker, and it appears to work! Great Stuff.
Now i will test it by actually connecting and speaking to someone.
Also, i created 2 new voip accounts with the same isp, but different numbers. I saved them as follows
Exetel 0280063388 and Exetel 0280063399
however the 2nd shows as
Exetel 0280063399;1
why is that?
Lastly, i suspect that this may have a big hit on power consumption. I will test more throughout today.
Voipbuster problem. Blocked. Not registered yet ??
I downloaded the trail version and just installed it. Trying to get my voipbuster account to work, but get the error message : Blocked. Not registered yet.
However am online in voipbuster on my laptop ?
I followed the info from the voipbuster SIP configuration on the website of Voipbuster so should be OK.
What am I doing wrong ? I would really like to try this as I travel a lot and usually have wifi connection around....
Thanks
Daan

Hi people,
I just bought myself a Prophet so now I'm putting it through the paces configuring it the way I want it.
Everything is dandy on the new ROM I flashed (Prophet ROM CE OS 5.2.20721) but I am having trouble getting MS Voice Command to activate via Bluetooth.
I did a search in the forums but could not find anything on it, my question is does anyone here use BT with MSVC and can they activate MSVC with their bluetooth? If so, what ROM are you using, and what Radio Version? I'd like to get this to work as it is the most important app for me in a phone.
Thanks

Thanks, that trick never worked for me over 5 different devices, but anyway the good news is, for some reason, it suddenly worked.
I currently have Vincent's Speedy Diamond ROM (Build 20273.1.3.3) with radio 2.69. I installed Voice Command 1.6.19209, and it did not work. Then I uninstalled it, reinstalled VC 1.6.19213, still no dice, then I uninstalled that then reinstalled VC 1.6.19209, then it *still* didn't work.
Then I did a soft reset and all of a sudden it works. =_= The world is a mysterious place.
did you check this?
This cab is good for me, but to make it work with the button on your bluetooth headset
you also need to do the following changes in the registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule\"Windows\OEMAGW.dll"
My headset only make the "input speech name" after this change.
regards
Thanks. I prefer MS Voice Command but I'll use that if ever the miracle that happened screws up later. For now it somehow worked so I'll just hope it stays fixed!

thanks, will try it tonight after my phone is fully charged....I welcome the updated builds....again, thank you.
Any other known issues ?
Hello friends
Looks this beta rom.. good, if some one has flashed to device checked any other known problems ?
CAN we install third party applications on this rom..since it is clearly mention beta rom?
Thanks in advance
ok, so I went ahead flashed the rom: I will update this post as I go along
on 1st boot (orange windows screen) I got an error message from network wizard: "there was a problem setting up network"....when the phone is fully booted it can't seem to find my phone service....I think I will have to flash again...
usually this problems comes in when the phone is using the wrong network BAND and all it would take for me to do is to switch the BAND back to the ones my phone company use
phone>>options>>band and change it there....but I can't find band in phone settings......
EDIT: I tried hardresetting to see if it would pick up my network but that didint' work so now I'm re-flashing. the ROM seems ok so far speed wise.
EDIT: I did a reflash it still didnt' pick up any network, I also changed radio from 1.58, to 1.57 and still nothing....
EDIT: I can't change the band, I use the 850, 1900 bands for both GSM and UMTS but I can't change it to that
sorry guys for not getting back sooner, work been taking over. will be attempting to port a later build tonight, and will revert back to fixing mentioned issues if it doesnt go to plan.

I am using ervius's kitchen, with a dumped wm6.0 build with the sys and xip from the x7510 kitchen, however I am in the process of trying to port build 23045 over to our devices, but still need to do some flattening of modules as I cannot get it to boot at present and I believe this is due to using to much of the slot 0 memory in the 6.1 kernel.
I will be doing some more work on this tonight, I will report back with any progress

If you can bear with me I am hoping to get the new build to boot tonight and I will check the band selection etc, am hoping it will be fixed due to much newer build. If not I will try changing some of the modules from the original x7500 dump and swapping them into later sys folder in the hope of fixing bugs.

I am just hoping I can find whatever is stopping me getting a bootable rom, I think the new layout in the 23xxx builds would be really nice on the athena
for all interested, I have just managed to get a 23409 build to boot, am just trying to see if the previous bugs have been fixed.
If anyone wants to try it and help me beta test, let me know and I will upload
Fixed in new build:
Power Icon - Fixed due to updated build drop down top bar
Bluetooth - I can search for and locate other devices, bluetooth led works, but no icon on top bar
Band Selection - I am able to set up network on first boot* also am able to go into /settings/personal/phone/band (new build supports side to side screen swipe to switch tabs)
*On first boot an error comes up "problem with database" its something to do with the network setup however my device located my sim card provider and configured phone service and data connection.
I would love to try it out.
I would love to try it out. The first one was actually super smooth and fast. I just could not turn on the bluetooth. Hope this time bluetooth will work and I can pair with my headset. Thank you very much for your great work.

thanks you very much for your hard work....you have given my athena new life...I'm falling in love with it all over again.
**when I flashed I got the same network wizard error again, I actually got to take some pictures of it this time around. I got it on both roms now. it comes up everytime I soft reset the phone.
**on 1st boot I couldnt' see the band tab in phone settings, it showed up after I did a hardreset, I was then able to set it to gsm 850+1900 bands, now it's picking up my carrier's network.
**the dialer seems to be messed up in portrait mode....so I use Advance Config to disable it and all is good
I see that you've included .net CF in this rom which is good.
**the Microsoft My Phone is in two different locations: in the main program list and in settings.
this is a fast rom, i havent had any freeze up yet or met up on any show stoppers yet...
**the bottom bar is hidden in some programs like winrar and total commander
EDIT: there's no link to get to input settings.....I can't get to register my touchpal keyboard.....
I also had my 1st couple of freezes, I think they have something to do with the WiFi because they all happend when I'm using it and the device goes into standby mode: using IEmobile with WiFi and the device went into standby, I had to soft reset. the other I can't seem to replicate but it caused my phone to hang on start up showing the orange windows mobile screen with the notification bar.....I had done a number of changes to registry and other parts so those could have played a role in the freeze up.

Im considering trying this ROM. Been using all AP ROMs. After i tried some Michys. Now I would like to try the one from AstianHellbring but it's taking quite long to being released.
Is anyone using this ROM with day to day use? Thanks for your replies.

The only thing I can suggest is that you look at the bugs/issues and see if you think you can live with them, and then try it if so.
Please remember this is a new build of windows as well as only the second rom I have ported and released, and was only first booted last night.
On the plus side I find this very quick and stable from my short time with it, faster than my blackstone running a build from the same com arm.

thanks you very much for your hard work....you have given my athena new life...I'm falling in love with it all over again.

Will look into the network wizard errors, not sure what they are but doesnt seem to affect anything
Glad your able to choose your carrier band now
Dialer in portrait I will look at too
Micrsoft myphone, in progs and settings - This is not my doing, it seems to be that way from m$ my blackstone is exactly the same
Bottom bar issues I think are caused by the extra 18pix to put all new buttons etc. Not
much I can do as this is part and parcel of the new UI
Input settings, if you tap and hold on the bottom keyboard button when keyboard is out it will pop up a small input menu.(will look into this as well)
I have not suffered any lockups/freezes as of yet and have used same combination with ie and wifi
Hi everyone!
I just bought the Redmi Note 2 phone and the Zeblaze Crystal watch and after connecting the watch to the phone I found out that the contacts can not be synchronized. I have my contacts synched with Google and Mi accounts and also on both SIM cards but for some reason the watch can not see them. Everything else is working - I can read my SMS, call cogs etc, but the contacts can not be seen by the watch.
Later on I tried to connect the phone to my car and it connects and works fine - I make and accept calls but again the contacts can not be synched. The car has a very good Bluetooth settings menu and a specific function for contacts downloading but when I try to download the contacts after a few seconds it stops and gives a "not possible" message. I can only download the call log... Just like with the watch...
So I am starting to believe that it is a problem with the phone - maybe something with the MIUI settings (MIUI ver. 66.77.33.00).
With my wife's Samsung phone everything connects just fine and the contacts are synchronized immediately to the car or the watch so its really a problem with the phone.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
There is no such thing as MIUI ver. 66.77.33.00. You're probably running a bogus ROM filled with who knows what. Legit versions are something along the lines of 5.x.xx
But I've also read there is a bug that breaks contact synching via bluetooth and it doesn't seem to be fixed in the dev rom, yet. Can't really test it, don't have BT in a car or a smartwatch.
Developer rom name:
Y.M.D
Y = Year (2015 -> 5)
M = month
D = day
Stable rom name:
V.x.x.x
V = miui version (for example miui 6 -> 6 or 7 > 7)
x = some subversions
Resellers rom name:
VV.x.x.x
VV = double miui version (for example miui 6 -> 66, miui 7 -> 77)
x = some subversions

Crim Soukyuu: Thanks for your answer...
I am getting really confused - I am posting a screenshot showing the MIUI version and some other specs. The phone is really not behaving bad but there are some apps that I want to get rid of and I can not.
If there is a better clean ROM for this phone I may think about flashing it...
Please see the details on the screenshot and let me know what you understand out of it... I am really not too much in the MIUI/android versions...

" delirium Rom"
Ive got no Problem with that
@ratab: your version is rigged so that you will never get any official updates (simply because there won't likely be a MIUI v66 in the next decade). It might not behave weirdly on the surface, but you can never know what kind of spyware might be hiding in the background. Just flash a clean EU ROM and be done with it.
I had the exact same MIUI version on mine, so you're not alone. It was full of junk and a virus scan revealed two trojans. False positives, I assumed, but removed them nonetheless. The amount of junk on this phone beggars belief, so I'm glad I never hooked it up to my email or anything like that before getting a custom ROM.
It seemed like a completely legit version of MIUI, though. Got mine from gearbest.com.
EDIT: Oh and yeah, I haven't been able to sync contacts to my car either (Mazda 3). It seems to be audio only.
Thanks everyone for the support. I am really thinking about flashing the latest EU ROM - I will just have to read a bit more about flashing because really like the phone and do not want to loose it too soon doing something wrong during the flash...
Need some help in choosing the correct ROM for that phone...
I followed the link that Crim Soukyuu gave for a clean EU ROM - Multilang Dev MIUI v7 ROM - v5.10.16 but when I followed the download link there are two options - MIUI 6 and MIUI 7. And inside there are number of different files for downloading and I do not know which one to take. Would someone please help me with choosing the correct one?
Thanks!
You'd have to do something terribly wrong, like purposely pulling the battery mid-flash to hard brick the device. Even flashing a faulty ROM usually still allows you to boot into fastboot and flash a working ROM from there. I've had a few softbricked devices (recoverable from fastboot) and no hardbricked devices (not recoverable) so far.
edit: huh, sorry, didn't refresh the page before posting. You should get the newest release, namely 5.10.22 as it's reportedly has better battery life. So far it's been a good version for me.
As for MIUI6 vs MIUI7, take the 7 one. It has root built in and is the newest version of the ROM, while the 6 is the old stable one that doesn't have root, afaik.
edit2: oh and our device is codenamed "hermes", so you need the xiaomi.eu_multi_hermes_5.10.22_v7-5.0 one
Thanks for the prompt reply. I found it and already downloading...
Is there any how-to procedure to follow - I am really afraid of doing something wrong...
I also think the phone is not rooted and I will have to root it first and then flash the new ROM.
Then probably put it on the SD card and flash from there...
If you're on windows, you can try using this tool to get TWRP installed on your phone (don't have to unlock the bootloader). Boot into it (press vol+ repeatedly after turning it on) and allow modification (otherwise the mi recovery will delete TWRP on reboot). Then just wipe the phone and flash the ROM you've put on your SD card. It has shown me an error the first time I tried flashing the ROM, but after rebooting into TWRP once more it worked just fine.
Thank you very much for the assistance - flash done and all problems gone - the phone shares all contacts now...
Looks fine for now - I will need time to check the MIUI 7 but seems to be OK.
Thanks again!
Good stuff! I ended up flashing mine with the sAOSP ROM and got a fully working bluetooth sync with that :good:
So far so good - the phone acts really well with the new ROM and battery life is much better.
I have another question regarding the Bluetooth connections...
I was able to pair my phone to the smart watch (Zeblaze Crystal) and to my car's Bluetooth and successfully synched the contacts.
Using the car Bluetooth is simple and easy - the only issue I have is that the phone is dual SIM and when I try to dial from the car the phone always asks which SIM to be used and eventually after a few seconds the dialing is interrupted. I can always set one of the SIM cards to be the default dial SIM but then why having the two cards if I cannot chose which one to use. Unfortunately there is no option in MIUI 7 to assign a SIM to a contact and the phone will always ask and wait for my choice...
Same case when dialing from the smart watch so at the end - no remote dialing from a Bluetooth device without touching the phone... If anyone knows a good way to solve this issue please share!
On the other hand I have a different issue with the smart watch. When connected, the watch overtakes the phone function and during a call the audio goes through the watch (funny). My natural desire is to transfer the audio to another Bluetooth device (headset or earpiece) so I can operate my calls/messages/notifications from the watch and hear the audio from the Bluetooth earpiece without taking the phone out of my bag.
The problem is that when I disable the phone audio function for the watch connection and enable it for the earpiece the watch also looses the control/notification capabilities - it just stops notifying me about the calls and messages I get.
There are three options in the Bluetooth menu that allow me to use the watch for: Phone audio, Media audio and Input device. If I disable the phone audio it cuts also the notifications and then no meaning of having the watch at all...
Any idea how to set the three devices (phone, watch, earpiece) to work simultaneously???
Thanks!
