Please tell me what should i do cause i am a total noob on windows mobile and i am affraid that i might brick it.

and it shows only the bootloader screen.Now i am installing the nvid.exe again.
At least it will unbrick it.

you have to HARDSPL first.

If your device is G4. Your SPL should change into this one 2.G4.4PDA or 2.G3.4PDA for Device G3
If your SPL not one of them. You will always stuck up at bootloader mode.
Did you didnt read , how to upgrade it.
I wrote it at my Thread.
You must hard SPL before upgrading! If you want to have the device in greek, try Gullums Coffee ROMs.

Not Realy! I have read the wiki and all usefull threads 2 days before!
1. There are different updateways in different foren, threads and wikis and all are for G3. Some users, which have a G4 model write that you have to notice a few points, but the answers are not very clearly.
2. In the german XDA forum they tell me that I can use every prophet rom! BUT: In the wiki is written that the G3 and G4 devices have different hardware! So it is very illegitimate that I can use the same rom!
Please help me! In my statement you can see that I'm very careful because I don't want to brick it!

I've got the same problem. This forum is great, no doubt, but it's a MESS. I couldn't find a clear answer regarding flashing a CID LOCKED G4 Prophet.
Can I flash radio roms ? What about extrom ? Can I just flash Gullums Touch VII right away after flashing NVID rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452 ? Can I even flash this NVID rom to CID LOCKED G4 ?
Lots of questions and for every one I can find 20 different answers, so I'm pretty confused. Maybe someone with the patience can clarify all of that, we don't want to brick our precious Prophets.

OK i see your Problem!
You can Flash all Roms with the NVID Flashtool. You can only Flash Roms with this tool, if no IPL and SPL is included! WM6 Roms use too ways to Flash it. Read the Threads about this WM6 Roms ... you need only to start the Update.bat or simulare bat file ... possible a NVID Flashtool. Some Roms have two bat files for G3 or G4 Device. Use the right! Radio Roms use everytime the NVID Flashtool and work everytime with locked devices.
You dont need the Shelltool way ... this is more Hardcore for develope.

My G4 runs WM6 now!
After again 5 hours investigation I know that you CAN'T kill your device with the prophet roms! When all people say "the device is bricked" they don't mean that nothing happens! They say "bricked" if the ppc stuck on the SPL/ISP screen or the bootloader. And both can be fixed with a RUU update like Prophet_PV_Temp or the original O2 rom!

For Up/Downgrading to Aku 2.2 (WM5)

-Download and extract!
-Start "ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4", which install Aku2.2
#wait 10 minutes, your ppc restart automatically
-After the PPC is fully started, you install first "Cert_SPCS" and then "EnableRapi" (you can find the two files in PV_4.0.0.0.6_Touch)
#wait 1 minute and restart your device
-Now you can update your Rom with "Upgrade_Rom"
#wait ~15 minutes
-Hardreset your device! IMPORTANT!!!
Welcome to your new WM6 installation!
If your device stuck at the ISP/SPL screen (loading more than ~5 minutes), go into bootloader (camera + reset) and start again with upgrading to Aku2.2

I was contacted by orefkov to create a Hard-SPL for Gene... which I've done, and he tells me it works fine, thing is, I'm not seeing it here, so I'm currently trying to get hold of him to see what address he loaded the SPL to in order to get started with it.

First post and I'm pretty new to flashing, so am a bit nervous about it. I've done extensive reading on this forum and have got to confess to some confusion - so please be patient with me!
First of all, I'd like to understand what USPL, SSPL and HARDSPL are? I think I read an explanation somewhere, but can't find it anymore.
I have managed to get HARDSPL 1.16 onto my phone and now that WM6.1 is out, I'd like to flash that version with the new HTC SSPL. Can someone please explain the steps I need to follow and how do I remove HARDSPL?

Not to worry mate ...if u can get the start screen it means ur phone is alive and still have chances to recover it
Pls read the wiki. roll back to WM5 if required..always remember to chk if ur device is G3 or G4

Upgrade from to What ROM? please explain in detail.
And you need to read the guide first, because as far as I know, you haven't HardSPL your device.
If you still see the bootloader (three color screen) it means the device still can be recover.

Is ist possible to upgrade the Rom to any custom Firmware?
I´ve found that this is an G4 phone but im not sure it´s possible to upgrade.

hi, yes, you can flash a new rom, but first of all, read , read, read and then read again, the process is very simple once you have readed the faqs (stickies)

I´ve read the Wiki and the sticky´s in this forum, i´ve searcht for my IPL/SPL Build and read this topics too.
But i´m unsure.
In the past (when the Wizard was new for me) i´ve read that the IPL/SPL 3.08.0001 (AKU3) wasn´t possible to upgrade .
Now i can´t find anything about that but i´m unsure.
Then i´ve read about Soft an HardSPL Flash but what is the best for me?
I´ve read that SoftSPL was better if you have warranty on your phone but my phone havent any warranty because it´s to old.
Should i use HardSPL to permanently remove the CID lock (then i should use only G4Save Rom´s - Right?)?
So Steps i want to do now to upgrade my Wizard :
1 . G4 Hard SPl CID unlock

2. I Update the rom with Mun's RUU after i´ve read this ROM Features, Ratings, Information and Program List topic to chose the best rom for me, G4 Safe only!?
