dear bros. am using HTC gene. yesterday am thought to upgrade my Phone OS and i do the olipro method . first am copy gene_hspl.exe into my phone memory and click to that file . then the PHONE was switch off .after olipro methord my phone ded (only red and green button blinks when i press the power butten).and am go to the orefkov method . but the last...... " ROM update utility " runs in my pc an error message display. "ERROR 200 " ."pls get newer update utility". pls help me . now my phone was
switch off. pls replay urgently.
any trick for swith on my phone., like to remove gene_hspl.exe from the phone memmory(just my idea).
or how to start my phone ....

Dear Pls try with the ROM Update Utility attached below. Even I used to get this error sometimes back. But after using this utility I have never faced any issues....

My handset not going in boot loader mode
only ( green + red ) button light blink
try upgarde the rom , allways connection error

try killing the wcecomm.exe process from task manager again!!

I use Olipro For Old Gene
After that i upgarde the rom
with this file
RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79 .90_Ship.exe
After the upgrade it showed sucessfull
But the handset did not power on
Only lights comming on the ( Red- green button )
& now even the computer does not detect the phone
press n hold camera button n reset if u hv done previous steps properly it wil go to bootloader mode!

Hold Camera Button and press "Soft Reset " which is at the Bottom of phone..

remove battery and then press on button then put battery back and then try to above method .
Any Trick for restoring boot file??

are u able to get into the boot loader mode??
unless n until u r able to enter the boot loader mode the ROM update utility will not detect your phone.....

i got the same proplem my mobile was stucked in bootloader screen i used mtty & successfully completed the rom update after that my phone give nothing even no bootloader screen so i have to say good bye

Here i am with something new for all, I have an T-mobile athena i have unlocked this phone with hard SPL after that i have install windows 6 on it, till now it was ok,,,,,,but after this i tryed to install windows 6.1 on it. and now i am geting black screen and every time it get reseted my device it geting restart and promting for new setup after doing screen aligment it is geting reseted it i tryed to install windows 5 on it but when i am trying to do the same its agian giving me the blank screen{three colour screen is not coming} and conenction error is displaying. please help.

try to hard reset your device, after the hard reset you can reflash with an official ROM for your device !!

i have installed a wm 6.1 rom in my htc p3450. no matter i install any rom.
always when i shut down it and then restart it flashes and only white blank screen appears.i have to restart it many times to get it work properly.

same hing happend to me when i bought mozart, next day i returned that htc mozart and they replaced it with a new one
now everything is wrking fine
i think its too bad for me!! i bought it from malaysia... is there any possibilty of formatting or re installing of the software for the mozart? plx plx need help!! this pro is killing me nw starting to hate the mozart!!

remove the battery of the phone first.
then re insert the battery. Now this time
while the power is turned off..
press and hold the following buttons POWER, Volume UP and Volume Down
if this works you will see a screen instructions..

I second the above, try a hard reset first and if that is no good you can try flashing a newer ROM and if all else fails then you should look into returning it.

I`have htc hd2 with windows mobile , i`ve tryed to intstall MAGLDR.. and my install was broken .. Now my Htc is freeze just HTC displayed ..i`ve tryed hard reset .. but it doesn`t work .. Just HTC displayed . It`s freeze .. Can somebody help me please..

Have you installed HSPL2.08 before you tried to install MAGLDR?
Have you already tried to flash the original ROM for your HD2 to get your device functional again? (from bootloader or with sd card method)
Have you had a look on mskip's tutorial before you started flashing?
at the first step , I`ve tryed to install MAGDLR . ROMUPDATEUtility.exe I started from this .. and a screen showed With a HTC hd2 photo , PDA Phone ROM update Utility 3.27.4.3 Is the name of this screen .. So I put my HTC hd2 in Synce. and I just Click Next Next Next .. and the installation sad Is complete . So Nothing else I just tryed This .. And My Htc is Now freeze .. I cant use it in USB mode . I cant start it .. at startup Just freeze HTC and nothing else .. :S:S Sorry about my English .. and thank you cuz i dont know what to do I`m totally confuzed ..:S:S
