Hi! I'm an absolute rookie when it comes to technology, and would greatly appreciate if someone can help me with this.
I'm not able to download and view videos from the net on my HTC P3400. It works sometimes, but most of the times, I get a message saying "Requested entity too large". I'm using Airtel's Net-on-Phone service, and I don't have a storage card on my device.
This even happens when the free space on the phone is around 12 MB and I want to download a 2 MB mpeg or wmv.
Help, please...
since u r using Airtel's Net-On-Phone then u can't download a file of more that 3MB.. they have a download restriction of 3MB. you can't download a file more than 3MB.
if you wish to download files more than 3MB or so then you have to activate Airtel's Mobile Office..

Hey guys, I've been looking around for some roms that I can flash to a buddy's g4 device but it seems that you have to use the rapid share downloader. Well, a couple things turn me off using that:
1. Its not free to get quick downloads
2. If you use the free version, takes like an hour to get the download to start
3. I use a proxy at work therefore the download will never actually get to my pc.
So, I will host any roms, tools (shelltools), etc for free. All I ask is a direct dl link so I can dl then upload to my server for hosting.
Can anyone help me?
Finally got my hands on this.
Enjoy.
Taken from latest Ext rom.
Also does any one know what ChgScutAttri.exe does.
In file info it says it's a cold boot app?
Do you think this one is better then SPB Insight?

Update ROM to required version Setup Error
I am using PDAViet Transformer 1.0.
When I install the cab, it gives a Setup Error: Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the required version before trying again.
Does this mean that Info Feed is tied to the Dopod Roms?
Thanks,
Alex
I did see that it checks for which device it installs to. But that can be circumvented if someone Extracts the cab and makes a new installer for it.
Sorry but it's not on my to do list.
I hope you can forgive me for that.
But you can read my "Extracting a Cab Tutorial the manual way"
Or look for that magic cab maker i'm also after that makes Cab files out of OEM packages. It's mostly text in the end that needs editing.
problem placing cache on storage card
When I set Info Feed to store its data on my storage card, then attempt to manually Update any channel, I get an error message, "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation." As long as it's set to use memory, there's no problem.
Current size of Info Feed's data = 3MB
Free program memory = 66MB
Free storage memory = 97MB
Free storage card space = 2.5GB
Obviously it's not a space limitation, per se. Cache/reg value?
Anyone know what's causing this?
@mtn_lion
I encountered the same storage problem after switching to a new 4 GB SDHC card. Info Feed worked fine on all of my other memory cards but I couldn't get it working on the new card.
I found out that there is a strange bug that causes Info Feed to display the "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation" message when there is a lot of free space available on the memory card. After copying some large files to the card Info Feed was working fine again. (At the moment I have a little more than 2GB of free space available.)
It is a stupid workaround but give it a try! It worked for me...
@HipNosis
Thanks for working that out! I'm very pleased to have an answer to the mystery. I'm not gonna waste space on my 8GB card by copying "placeholder" files, but your discovery will make me hurry up and copy more of my music to the card. Do we think that the 2GB threshold is significant?
BTW, I have a line open to support at InfoFeed's maker, Jeyo, about this issue and will share your info with them.
G'day!
As a business owner who can't always get the personelle I require, I have had to come up with a way to be able to serve customers and stock shelves etc without having to run to the back of the shop all the time.
With the help of DOSbox and my pos software I have been able to play around and install a full POS program on my Htc Elfin which I can use to do everything from take orders and process cash transactions.
The writing is a bit small and not really user friendly, but it has been a life saver for my business.
Email me for the app so people can try it out for themselves, it is included in the message too. just type cd pos then pos to start. I challenge any programmer out there to see if they can improve on this. If you can please private me for information.
Thank you

[SOLVED] - solved the issue - sort of. I downgraded to gingerbread and it installed no problems.
I purchased madden 12 (back when it was expensive) but on my flyer, it will not download any of the additional files. I tried moving the files from my phone (galaxy s) to the tab, and it tries to load but just has a black screen with limited menus.
So I have 3 questions:
1. is there a way to make these files work with the tab? or do I need a different download?
2. Is there any trick to getting the extra files to download, it just sits at 0% for me?
Or
3. Is it possible that someone here can share their madden folder that works on their flyer/view with my dropbox account? I can show you snapshots that I purchased the program, but i just can't get it to load on my tablet
Thanks for any help!

u may find sd content on some file sharing website.... but i am not sure wats ur problem... there must b an update to that apk... check market..that is y its not downloading content
I totally uninstalled the program this morning and installed it again, still nothing. I hate to visit filesharing websites - so many viruses.
First let me start off by saying that Windows Phone is a great OS. I love everything about it, from UI to gaming. BUT, I hate how locked up it feels. I mean not even being allowed to download files that the phone does not recognize is just frustrating! Ok fine I admit not everyone will find this useful but I have figured out a(moderately easy) way of using a WP8 Phone to download unrecognized file formats, and to then put those files onto your pc/laptop via Bluetooth. Unfortunately it doesn't work via cable.
Step 1: Download UC Browser from the app store, it's free and necessary to initiate the download,as IE will just block the download from even beginning.
Step 2:Using UC Browser, go download whatever file it is you want. E.g. .zip , .pdf , .exe , .inf , .mkv , whatever you need.
Step 3:When UC Browser asks you to either save the file or send to skydrive, choose Save. The renaming section will appear. Now,
Step 4:Rename the file extension from what it originally was, to .mp3. Example : "Logic_driver345.zip" to "Logic_driver345.mp3" . Then begin the download. When it is complete, the phone will store the file in the music+video hub, under music, unknown artist, unknown album.
Step 5: Switch on your phones bluetooth and pair it to your laptop/pc ,make sure your pc bluetooth is ready to receive a file.(usually right click on the bluetooth icon in system tray and click "receive file via bluetooth".
then it's as simple as sending the file, and renaming the extension back to original on your pc. Example: "Logic_driver345.mp3" to "Logic_driver345.zip"
some people might say it's easier to just use your internet on the pc, of course, but this is a tip for those of us who don't have an internet connection at home and use our phone to download important email attachments or other files. I hope this helps at least one other person who had the same problem I had.:good:
many downloads is easier with GetThemAll....

What version is your firmware? Mine is the most recent from AT&T and have always and still am able to download any file regardless of the extension. All I get is a pop up that says it is unrecognized and may not be able to be used, would I like to download any way? Then you have an option of download or cancel. It goes to the download folder and I can then do whatever I want to with it.

Thanks for the reply, and I'm glad they sorted that out, it was effing ridiculous! Now we just need a file manager. I was still running stock firmware cause my network had not made the update available yet. I'm in South Africa on Cell C , just forced an update check now and saw the update is finally available. Now to find a wi-fi spot... Thanks anyway guys.
