Has anyone come across a text message app that is voice activated? I used to have the HTC Incredible and that was one feature I miss most. It came in very handy when I didn't have two hands to type and send text messages. Thanks for the help
I'm really looking for this too..
I cannot find a straight answer to this.
Will rooting my Xoom allow me to receive SMS (text messages) to the assigned number that Verizon gave me for this 4G unit?
That is all.
Thanks.
Nobody knows the answer to this?
I find it hard to believe somebody hasn't at least tried this....
Hiya, I can't find another thread, but I hope I'm not duplicating. I have several questions relating to MMS's.
Can anyone see any way to let me write a long SMS text without it being sent as an MMS? If I write a reply to a text and it's one character too long, it'll send it as an MMS. I'm in the UK on O2, and have unlimited everything, except MMS's which cost me money. I've also noticed that if I send to multiple recipients, it'll become an MMS too. Bugger! I just want the phone to send as a multipart SMS like every other phone I've ever owned.
Can I block MMS's?
And finally, what is the difference in the MMS creation mode. Doesn't seem to make any obvious changes.
Thanks for reading.
Has anyone figured out a way to change the responses that come out when you go to reply to a sms message? Some of them work fine but I'd prefer others for more specific situations like when I'm at work and can't talk into my wrist.
Hi All,
Whenever somebody leaves me a voicemail on my LG G3 is comes to my phone as a jumbled text message instead of the voicemail notification icon. Any idea what is wrong. It does this on all roms, which leads me to believe this is a Verizon setting, but I don't know what. I don't have or pay for visual voicemail. An image is attached, which I blurred out the phone number that called me. Hopefully someone knows what is going on here.
Thanks for your help in advance.
I found this topic on the Verizon Forums. Post #4.

Verizon apparently has 5 versions of visual voice mail. A call to verizon may be necessary to have them put you back to basic voicemail instead of Basic Visual Voice Mail.
Edit: I posted the fix here:
