ive only just started flashing Roms and am wondering if there is a guide to cook your own Roms as it is something i would like to try as a lot of Roms just aren't what i am looking for
any help would be much appreciated

The Guys were talking about that finaly the bootloader has been cracked !! *woooho*
Could it be possible to get netfilter /iptable into a custom kernel, and is there a guide or a Turtorial on how to make or build a custom kernel ??

For a start learn to root your phone..... install CWM and learn to use that too...
See how other people ended up bricking their phone..... so that you can avoid it..
There are many forums that can teach you to build a ROM....

No you can't install roms from HTC/Samsung or any other forum. As Byond have different hardware and software configuration.. The frameworks are different.. You need to port them.. Please head towards Byond forum and see for your taste ROMs..

Try them and make your own opinion. Achotjan's CM10 is nice and can be your favourite too.
