Hello, I am currently using DCD 3.2.6 kitchen with no2chem oem for Power and backlight. Does anyone know how to hide the power cpl and backlight from the settings? I tried adding a hide command to registry but was unsucessful. Thanks

Does anyone know a way of mapping one of the h/w buttons to switch BT on and off. This would be espescially useful for when driving and using BT tools and wanting to switch on BT using a one handed action without looking at the screen.
One way I can see this happening is if I can get hold of the command that can be inputted using the run function provided by PHM powertoys (that can be mapped in the buttons section in the settings-> personal menu) that could toggle BT on and off in the same way as pressing the BT icon on the today screen that is installed with BT tools.
Any other ideas welcomed
Ok, so loving my HTC S740 after changing from Qtek 8500. I know to initiate keylock you have to hold down the End Key for 2 seconds, but I am used to just closing my Qtek 8500 after a call to lock it. I also know you can activate auto keylock, but I need to keep my keys open sometimes. I would like to be able to just short press the Camera button to Keylock the phone. I have got as far as remapping the Camera button by changing the shortcut Short_Camera.lnk. Tried it by renaming Internet Explorer shorcut and it works! So far so good. But what shortcut to use or how to setup a shortcut for keyLock to remap to Short_Camera.lnk.
I know this sounds really petty, but can't wait and hold the End Key for 2 seconds every time!
Any help appreciated.
I don't know if it's possible by clean way without installing anything, but I have done this by assigning one harware button to 'turn off display' in AE Button Plus (which also locks keypad)
btw, I really like behaviour of some touchscreen htc devices where is device switched to standby by upper hardware button, and no other button can wake up device. It would be great to set up my S740 this way - anyone know if it is possilbe somehow?
I am looking for a registery key to disable the tactile feed back option as shown in settings -> personalize -> Vibration -> Vibrate when I tap buttons..........
I have found the registery key to disable the vibrate in the keyboard and added it into my oskitchen build. I have googled and searched XDA but cant quite find the registry key I am looking for.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you should ask this over in the chef's central forum.

Cheers I will try that!
I've tried many lockscreens, I found out that the best option for me is disabling the lockscreen (CyanogenMod settings > Tablet tweaks). Unfortunately, I need a keyguard (For example - wake only if power key is pressed) because without the lockscreen wake=unlock. Any idea how to make such a keyguard? I know it is possible to bind a specific key to unlock the phone, but I want to get rid of the lockscreen. Thanks in advance.
Firstly, fix your title!
And secondly.. as far as I know, then there is no way of disabling the keys for waking up the screen.. Just update to CM7.1.0. It has a cool new lockscreen
I liked all of the lockscreens I tried. My goal is to disable it, not to make it beautiful.
Actually I did it - I simply removed all WAKE and WAKE_DROPPED entries
except those for POWER BUTTON from /system/usr/keylayout/thunder_keypad.kl and qwerty.kl.
It was simpler than I thought...
I have been tweaking my phone (not on TW) for a while to get it the way I wanted it. I was successfully able to modify files so I have on-screen navigation and disable the back and menu buttons. There's two last things that I want to get fixed and am wondering if I can change any config files for these tweaks:
- Turning off the capacitive button lights. They still light up despite disabling the buttons. I don't see an option to change that in Settings.
- Haptic feedback on the on-screen buttons. I tried Settings > Sound > Vibrate on touch, but only the task switcher vibrates (not home nor back)
