ok so i flashed from the stock ROM to the dcd 3.2.6 with Radio 3.42.5. Everything went great until i loaded up the WM 6.1 and tried accessing my internet. Couldnt do it and said my username and password were wrong. I do not know whats wrong. any ideas?
you need the carrier cab
i already installed the carrier cab
What carrier do you have?
US Cellular
Are you using a custom ROM for U.S. Cellular or are you using a Stock ROM for your phone?
If you using a stock ROM like Sprint then you might wanna try deleting the IOTA folder.
im using the DCD 3.2.6. dont know if its a stock or custom rom. i looked around my file explorer but there was no IOTA folder
If it didn't come from a major carrier it's a custom rom. DCD is a custom rom.
If your using DCD's then thats a custom ROM and the IOTA folder should not be there.
Hmmmm are your EPST settings correct? Might wanna check under security and see if your info is correct.
What should my username and password be?
Since your U.S. Cellular i would search first and see if you can find a thread that has the EPST settings there and then try to duplicate them on yours.
Since I'm not with U.S. Cellular i can't help you on the settings...Sorry.
Try heading over to howardforums.com and check under the U.S. Cellular forum and see if anyone there can help you out.

I upgraded to Sprint 3.5 ROM and accidentally let the custom files run and now I get no data. Phone works but cannot connect to data.
I tried many other ROMS like dcd bell version etc. I read in some posts like http://www.htcwiki.com/thread/1439477/Data+connection+problem+after+flashing+ROM
He says to get the STOCK ROM and your previous data internal settings will load back.
Is there any other way because I can't seem to find the BELL 6800 stock ROM anywhere. link me to the file if you know it.
Also is there maybe a BELL version of IOTA?
Man my phone with no data stinks please reply....
I did the ##778# but do not know what to set that will reconnect to data. Some people say you do not need an auth key... if I do how do I get it?
I have the stock ROM that was pulled from UTStarcom's website recently.. it might help you but i wouldn't hold my breath as it was THE reason i had no data for 9 days...
Let me know if you're interested and i'll rapidshare it somewhere.
Adi
DCD_3.0.1_Bell.exe saved my day thanks dcd
Hello all!
I'm running dcd 3.2.6 with 3.42.40 radio and a Titan on Verizon. The GPS was working with Google Maps with the Verizon 6.1 update, but the phone was so slow to use (and no BT ICS), so I went to dcd. Since then, I get BT ICS, and the phone is much faster, but the GPS cannot lock on any sats. Any ideas?
I'd check to make sure all your aGPS settings are correct using QPST.
Already did that, but I checked them again to confirm.
What next? Is there a CAB I need to install? Should it just work out of the box?
it should work fine. Makesure it's set for com4 in google.
Actually I got my gf a touch and it was working fine til earlier this week now its back to the slow non aGPS where we have to wait 15 mins to get a lock. and i just got a new titan and cannot get gps working on the nuerompre3 rom. Maybe they blocked it?
did you make sure the location setting was set to on and not to 911 only?
It is on COM4, and it is set for Location Only. It was working with the Verizon MR1 release...
Did you reflash back to a pre 6.1 Verizon rom first? You have to do that or MR1 breaks the GPS. Once you flash back to an older rom, then the normal update flashes for custom roms works fine.

That was it! I re-locked and flashed with a stock Verizon rom, and then installed SPL 2.47, dcd 3.2.6, and radio 3.42.40 and everything works perfectly! GPS, BT tethering / internet sharing, and it's quite responsive. Thanks for the tip!
No verizon ROM, but still the same problem
Well, I've never used a Verizon ROM (I'm in Mexico city, my carrier's IUSACELL), but I have the same problem. I got GPS working with DCD 3.2.5 and after upgrading to Radio 3.42.30 and DCD 3.2.6 (same day, one after the other), I've been unable to lock onto a satellite in spite of leaving the unit in the open for over half an hour and prepping the unit with toggleGPS.
I've tried flashing back the radio and ROM to the working versions and even cooked several ROMS using PPCKitchen, to no avail. The system can open the port, does read up to 7 satellites, but cannot lock onto them.
I tried setting the GPS up with the QPST tool and Verizon settings, and got nowhere.
I'll try and relock and unlock tip that eclipse used, but maybe I'm missing something here...
any help will be mucho appreciated.
Thanks
Hey there. I found the aGPS settings for IUSACELL here (site is in spanish and the info is on post 27 of this thread). I'll reproduce them here for quick reference:
PDE IP: 207.83.200.238
PDE Port: 8888
PDE Transport: IP
Position Calculation: PDE
I've tested them using dcd radio 3.42.50 and they work like a charm
Anyone know if/how we can get them listed in the tutorial and/or included in the Iusacell carrier cab?
I know I'm a senior member..and as a senior member I should know better than to ask something nooby like this: so please excuse my noobness and help me out!
I'm considering on flashing to dcd's 3.2.6 ROM but I had a couple of questions in mind first:
1) I'm on Sprint running on Evdo Rev. A speeds, I was wondering if I'd still have these speeds after flashing to dcd
2) I read about several GPS problems after flashing to dcd..but most of them came from Verizon devices..will this happen to me if I did the same?
3) Does it have MS Office Mobile in it as well?
Thanks a lot to whoever answers me! I really appreciate it!!
Answers for you:
a) yes, EVDO-A is supported
b) The problem stems from the official Verizon update. There is now an entire section in the Titan wiki related to fixing those problems.
c) Yes, it does have Office 6.1 in it.
Hope that helps.

I've flashed DCD's 3.3.4 rom to my ntelos ppc6800... I used the sprint carrier cab, but now don't have any data connection. Do I have to manually edit settings? I did record my EPST settings before flashing. Help?
EDIT: Ive reflashed to 3.2.6, sprint cab still not working for me. Is there a way I can put in the settings myself, or does somebody have a carrier CAB for ntelos? I'm seriously screwed here...
Alright, after a few trips to nTelos I finally got my internet connection working. If anyone else has this problem I'll try and explain everything I did the best I can.
After flasing a new rom i have no internet i would love to know how you got it to work
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. If you still need help could you tell me which rom you tried and send me your epst settings?
I am currently running one of the latest DCD releases with radio 3.42.50 and am very happy with it, but I cannot seem to find a 6.5 release that is compatible with Telus.
Does anyone have 6.5 running on their P4000? What build is it?
Cheers,
You can easily build your own in PPCkitchen. Then just add the telus carrier file.
Excellent - Never done this before so I am following walk-throughs on ppckitchen.org. What are the risks of bricking your phone while using this?
You can just install this rom, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=512718 Its the newest 6.5 Rom that I know of. Then delete the VZ data settings, install the Good ole DCD Telus cab and Bang! If your not wanting to delete the VZ settings then thats fine. Still works.
This is a very good rom, I have not had to do a reset since I installed it.

Umm noob here.
1. How would I delete the VZ settings?
2. Where can I get the DCD Telus cab?
Thanks
To delete the network settings:
Settings>connections>connections> Advance (tab at the bottom)>select Networks>edit. Hold your stylus on the #777 area until the pop up menu appears and select delete.
Then install the DCD Telus cab. It will reset all the nessary settings to work with telus.
Your good to go!
If your really new to this racket then let me warn you its like using crack! Try it just to see what its like then it will take over your life!
Kidding its not that bad, but be sure to read the wiki and have your boot loader and radio updated after you have recorded your vital serial information like it says to do there. I've never needed to re-enter that info but some ppl here have had to.
EDIT: All Cabs Here: http://dcd1182.n715dp.com/titan/carriers/

First , Id like to apologize if this is posted in the wrong area. I've done quite a bit of digging and am not able to find any real information on this subject. Basically I was inquiring if it is possible, links, and or steps to dumping/copying my PRL file as well as the stock shipped rom to my PC. I know you may be wondering why? Well, because my provider is TbayTel and I've gone through a situation where a "flash dance" was needed to fix my ROM issue's I was experiancing. Upon doing this I ended up flashing my PRL to the stock shipped Sprint rom one. Sure there are many prl files available, as well as the steps to manually updating them but my provider is one of the few that a PRL file is unavailable. Called up my provider service center, they will not provide me this as they have NO IDEA what im talking about. Once I explained the situation they obtained a basic idea of what I was talking about. Great thing is they manually program this into your phone as well as every other setting. So it required me bringing the phone in and having them look at it. So I attempted to reflash a stock rom and lock my phone. No stock Tbaytel rom (Custom edited Sprint rom). So i loaded a stock sprint rom, convinced them it was there fault for shipping me that, but was unable to lock my phone. I believe this is because they orignal settings could never match unless I reloaded my actual stock Tbaytel rom and ovbioulsy they wont hand this out willingly. So with my stock Sprint rom phone with no settings (Phone was stuck in activation process), and unlocked I proceded to the customer service building. Took alot of manipulation lol, but there fixing it and having it back to me by monday. So with this said and my problem (finally ) being resolved. I would like to do this to add that material as a resource to this community. Also feel free to comment on my escavade as well as tell me if i could have done something diffrent.
P.S: Thank you to all who have or are inputing into this. (Have for the people who aided in the past with those issue's stated above.) This is a great community and I hope I can provide these files to help improve something!
Use CDMA workshop to copy your PRL and save it. Flashing your phone shouldn't involve touching your PRL though.
You should run through your registry to obtain your data settings, and mms settings if any.
Thanks
Thank you for all your input/help. Only question left is , how do i dump my stock shipped rom? As for the PRL being updated, it happened when i flashed to the stock sprint rom and hard reset. Auto updated my PRL to 60613 i beleive it was.
You dont need your stock rom. You only need your data and mms settings. You can find these in a quick registry dump.
Thank you
Thank you for your prompt responses. If that is the case , then my final question to you is. After i complete a registry dump, am i able to apply the reg file to any other rom. In doing this will it mess with the custom rom? (like there must be pre-configured settings static to the registry of the rom of choice right)?
