hey i recently got myself a xda 1 its was free so no harm in havin it. ok i downloaded mms composer from this site, but every i install it, and then try to run it i get this error message
"cannot find 'mms composer' or (one of it componets).Make sure the path and filename are correct and the required libraries are available"
i runnin wm2003 made a lufts rom kicthen, but i also trinf it on o2 origanl wm2003.i got a xda pw10a, if thats helps. please please can u tell me where i'm goin worng please.

never tried running it on a xda1 back when i had such a device everybody were using ezwap and not composer prob because composer was not around as cab file
when i install mms composer on my xda2 i am required to softreset

no i havent used ezwap, looks hard to use, and i dont no how set my orange gprs setting either, i'm a newbie to ppc, i'm used to spv u see, but i hope some1 out there is able to help with this, orange mms setting on the xda or mms composer problem. Thank You.
well if the program will not start at all then thats a problem i suppose because you cant fill in the settings
a search mainly in the network forum would most likely give the correct uk orange settings
how to fill in those settings is described pretty well in this pdf file
you could also try different versions of mms composer to see if one of the other works again search in the forum should give at least 2 different versions of the program
if any1 out there has mms composer up and running on there xda 1 or xda 2, can u please zip up the directory and attact it on the forum for me, try to if i can overwrite working files with non-working if u understand, or if any1 knows a solution to this problem please please do help me.

What about "sipchange".
It sets your most liked Input method as default.
Try the search function.

Isn't "default_im_wm5" also a tool to change the default input ? but not really sure....
Sounds like it from that... Also G4SipTweak, a newer tool. I haven't tried it.
Be carefull with sktools software and its tool to make default keyboard. I once tried to use iphone-similar keyboard (which you can be found around here..) and got it stuck in 3rd screenboot.
use programs like safemode 2.1 to mend future problems lika that one. I didn't had this and had to hardreset..

Only can allow you to read Chinese characters, can not write characters. For that you need Monster Chinese or similar application.
Just copy the "Sunglobe.ttf" font file to the "\Windows" directory on Atom Life.
Then you have to do a Registry edit as follows:
In your registry, under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\ add a new key call FontLink. Then, under this newly added FontLink key add another key call SystemLink. Example, you should now have the following in your registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\FontLink\SystemLink
4. Now add the following 4 "String" values to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\FontLink\SystemLink
Value Name: Times New Roman
Value Data: \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,Unisun
Value Name: Arial
Value Data: \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,Unisun
Value Name: Courier New
Value Data: \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,Unisun
Value Name: Tahoma
Value Data: \Windows\sunglobe.ttf,Unisun
5. Do a soft reset and you are done.

I tried your method, but after soft reset, the fontlink key with all the values simply disappeared. the sunglobe.ttf file is still in the windows folder though.

Install this CAB file in order to read Chinese. (Other versions of this cab, using other Chinese font sets, can be found on ricky119's homepage.) It works for traditional and simplified, but the emphasis is on simplified.
In order to enter Chinese, find yourself a good Chinese SIP. I recommend ZTA4 2.8, or maybe DayHand's PlumSIP (点讯梅花输入法).

Sorry for late reply, been away from home.
I never had any problem with the registry hack method, it has worked for me in WM5, WM6 and now WM6.5. Can only suggest that your registry editor might not have saved the changes?

i have installed as you said. but its not working in TF3D.
the music file name which is traditional chinese word still uncode....

The problem is probably that TF3D uses a couple of non-standard fonts that haven't been linked to the Chinese ones. Please have a look in your \Windows\Fonts directory and tell me what files you have there.

I used Ricky's package and I can both display and input Chinese, except one application - UCWeb browser. It does not display Chinese characters at all, including the menus. This is the same across multiple devices:
- HD2 Artimus v22 WWE ROM
- HTC Fuze TAEL ROM
- iPaq 4700 wm6.1 ROM
Does anyone know why UCWeb browser has a problem and if there is a fix for it? Thx.

I was using CE-Star for the fonts, but that stopped working with the later versions of the 6.5.3 series ROMs.
Found an excellent solution at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=700311 Worked on HTC HD, The fonts should work on any WM device and the IME's seem to be more portable than one might think.
Now using Font = Arphic CHS (Chinese Simplified)
IME = IME CHT LEO HKCW V3 (Although CHS not included in name it does work with Simplified) Excellent.
Much better all around.

does anyone know how to change the theme without loosing the 3d effects ?
i tried a few themes which are visually pleasing but lose the original 6.5 3d style menu options...any ideas??
If you use old WM 6.1 themes, they will ofcourse make the layout like old good WM 6.1. Use new extended themes specially created for WM 6.5 and you will get all the effects. I have seen somewhere on this forum, some themes for WM 6.5 but dont remember exactly. And the new builds of 6.5 comes with 5-6 themes too.

Add a panel Programs... only need install Advance Configuration and 2 files...
All in archive.... Open Pvrovxml with Notepad to edit directory... i manage to work on my PDA....
then copy Cmhomres.dll.mui to Windows
open Advance Config tool 3.3 => import ProvXML then Soft reset...
Enjoy...

Thanks helgee it worked.Great idea to make your favorite programs at your today screen with titanium. I was searching for it from the first day i saw this plugin in 6.5,
can we change the default icon to respective icons of the applications that we want to put on our today?

Hello,
after a hardreset (HTC HD2) to german stock rom (the new one) i installed CHT and BsB tweaks (both working fine). For some reason now the sense menu of the email tab is in english. It does not say Posteingang but inbox, on the other hand the softkey on the right says Menü (german) but the opening tab again is in english (new email, delete email ect.). If i delete all my accounts it says add new acount ect.
This is the only thing that changed. I tried BsB tweak, no change. In the registry the language code is 407 for german ect. I looked up all CHT settings. I can not find anything.
Does anybody now how to change this back to german. Can you change this with a registry explorer? Thank you.
