I m using Michy's rom WM6.1 (CE os 5.2 19965)(build 19965.1.2.3)

i have flashed device and made it perfectly working. i am using this rom for last 3months now,seems there is no problem in operation i have found ,besides that there is some issue with bluetooth transfer if i am trying to connect with any HTC TOUCH model ..thats ok somehow i can rectify the problem .
i have all possible installed software incl DESTINATOR 6. since usage of last 3months i could only taraced problem,with edge service iIE explorer sometimes hang and need to restart the explorer.
yes many users are mostly using wifi..but i have check wifi not given me any problem in my little use.
NEED infromation about this rom ....I have installed PDM application which gives updates for application related to device Athena ...
i have updated that but if i try to download any .cab from the list ERROR MESG APPEARS ( ROM DISABLE ) how to unlock the rom for this cabs to get installed on my device need feedback as well as correct instruction from you.

Last time when I was upgrading my I-Mate, the difference between Arabic and English versions was only in sku1 and sku2.
And now, do you think they changed minor version just to show the Arabization incorporation to ExtRom?
For those who download Arabic version: Please, provide some device info (rom, radio and ext, ppc) after this (167) upgrade. Thanks in advance!

so far i have been pretty content with my configuration, which is as follows:

rom date - 03/15/04
radio version - 1.14.00
protocol version - 1337.24
ext rom - 1.72.126
the softwares i've been using are:
xda-developers ext. rom unlocker
vasilenok's vbirthday 3.2 gold
spb pocket plus
spb full screen keyboard
smartphone studio for sms syncing & backup
i havent found any topic which address all issues related to upgrading..therefore many would find feedbacks on this topic useful
1. will all these softwares and more work on 2003se? or do we have 2 download diff. versions?
2. how stable is the 2003se? and which rom is the best?
3. how is the battery usage?
4. will it sync with a pc running on win98se?
5. MOST IMPORTANT , i have backed up my sms's using smart phone studio (tried jeyo, doesnt work on my pc) will i be able to restore them if i upgrade to 2003se? i dont want 2 lose my sms!
6. in case i want 2 downgrade back to my current version , can i do so?

This is not an official ROM, and it is adopted from Atom Life AKU 3.3 revision 2. It is very much faster than official ROM.
Does this include the O2 Media Plus , O2 Phone Plus, O2 SMS Plus, etc cabs?

After week of usage system goes unstable. Exec can't recieve calls, reboots sometimes. In task manager aplications duplicated many times. And more. This firmware hasn't serious improvements and I back to 822.
Anyone else have got it running?? and working well?

I am using it third week and it is realy fast and works properly so far. I have used internet as well without any problem. I have installed HTC today plugin, pTravel Alarm, Office WM6 and everything is fine
i cant download from both links. is it possible to upload the rom to another website? like savefile.com or filesend.net. thks alot in advance!!!
btw does anyone have any idea how come my exec sometimes do not ring when there is an incoming call or sms? it only lights up n nothing happen.

I'm new to this forum, and i've flashed my rom following the guide correctly, but unfortunately after i flashed it my bluetooth feature has stopped functioning properly. I was wondering if anyone would know of any kind of fix.

I've flashed it with Salvy.C.83_v3 3G 16 keys, The problem is i can see people with my bluetooth but i cannot connect with them and cannot receive / send files... would you know any solution ?

You are the only one, in my thread, many people have tried the WM6.5 after the WM6.1 v3.2 and some have returned to v3.2, no one has had this kind of problem
I test continually the 3.2 ITA, 3.2 WWE, and 6.5 ITA and 6.5 WWE
and I have never had that problem

No, its alright i found it very strange because no matter how many times i've tried entering pin code to give access it just won't let anyone connect through to my htc touch dual. I have updateded my hardspl to 1.22 and radio to the most stable version still nothing... I'm just going to flash to my original rom and see how that goes. Thanks !

I am a user of HD2 since Jan last year.I am frequently facing issues on the Phone's performance due to the SMS UI and also by the Ohone hanging up abruptly and have to reboot 2-3 times to get it functional.
I had bought this phone in India from a grey market vendor which has T-Mobile's bootup Logo coming up.This is a phone which has been imported from UK and I had upgraded the earlier WinMo 6 to WinMo 6.5 using the ROM upgrade posted on the HTC UKs website.Currently I am running the WinMo 6.5 with the following :

Manila Version : 2.5.20121429.0
ROM Version : 1.72..110.4 (86525) WWE
ROM Date :04/02/2010

The easiest way would be to flash your device with the latest stock rom. You have to go to htc website, select your device origin country, and search for ROM. The latest version of stock rom is 3.14 (yours is 1.72)
If you want to play with custom rom, you have to understand thoroughly about flashing. Check this very useful link:

I agree with the above post you would probably be better pleased with a custom ROM. But if you still want to flash a stock ROM and the HTC site will not let you download a 3.14 ROM for some reason then Flash HSPL 3.03 using HSPL 4 and go to this thread and you can download the 3.14 ROM you need from there. Click on my guide in my sig to learn how to install HSPL.
