Deleted texts in TF3D are not deleted in Windows Messaging - Touch Pro CDMA

What am I missing. When I delete a text in the TP TF3D front end by using the menu to delete, it deletes, and removes the message on the Text tab. But if I go into the windows messaging app the mesages are not deleted. This could be a major problem, because you think you are staying on top of deleting your texts to keep the phone clean, and not take up memory, but if you don't enter the windows messaging app and delete the texts they keep piling up.
Anybody know what I am missing so that the TF3D function, completely deletes the texts off the phone?

[Q] Messaging App Crashing

HTC Thunderbolt - I am having problems where the messaging app keeps crashing when I have a large number of SMS messages in there. I have about 5000 SMS messages restored from my old phone, but when loaded the stock messaging app will load very slowly. Eventually (after opening the app once or twice), it will force close every time that I open the app. Sometimes it will open, but it won't display any of my messages, and then just force close.
This happens with both the stock messaging app and something like Handcent, so it leads me to believe that it is something with the Messaging store. I get no problems if I start with no messages, and have only like 100 in there.
I've restarted and did a factory reset. Same problems. Anyone else having the problem with a large number of SMS messages?

[Q] Is it possible to erase all the contacts?

Something happened to my contact database a few days ago and now whenever I access any contacts, look at texts, etc. my phone is very slow to either start the SMS program (the force close/wait dialog continually comes up) or the contact takes a while for the data to appear. If I look in SystemPanel, the contact app is also using between 20-50% of CPU. This makes me think that the contact database has somehow become corrupted.
Is there a way to erase all the contacts out of the database and resync them all from my various accounts? If so, how and will it also erase call history, etc? If it does is there a way to not lose this information?
I used "Contact Remover", from the market.
Does that just delete the contact from the phone or does it also delete it from the server?
The description in the Market isn't very clear...

Click to collapse
here is a easy way no need to install an app...
Setting>>application>>Manage applications>>on tabs you will see downloaded, running, All, Media area, select "All" then find "Contacts Storage" go into that and click "clear data"...this should delete all the contacts from your phone...and yest it will erase call history...

email issues/calendar wedget missing

I've always been a HTC man but made the switch to GS3, now i'm wondering if I should have stuck with my EVO line.
My issues. rooted w/ stock, used TB to restore my apps/data. and removed some of the bloate where. I rebooted the phone and then started to get "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" so I restored to factory, and restored my apps/data and haven't tried removing the bloatware yet.
Widget issue
Since I did this I see my stock calendar widget is missing/my calendar doesn't sync all the time.
Email issue
My email using the stock email app works when it wants to and other times it tells me it couldn't verify my username or password, couple mins without touching it, here comes my mail.
the other issue with this is the mail icon will say 12 emails, I delete 10 emails, click refresh to see if there's more emails and there's none but yet my email icon will say 12 in red.
Is there away to delete everything in the trash? I couldn't find any settings. with the EVO I could just do a select all, When I click on the select it only selects "Today" email in the trash not ALL emails in the trash.
Text Message
With my previous text message, if I select to send attachment it will give me the option to my dropbox, I don't see my dropbox in the stock text, I tried Go SMS pro and handcent smss, but didn't see that option in those, so i'm not sure if this is something that the SMS message app look for or if it's something I have to manually set, but was automatically done w/ the evo.
I installed Free sonic and that brought the calendar widget back. My other issues still stands and now I know when there's a text message it shows for example 2 for unread text, but when I check the text message. everything is read or deleted.
did you restore the system apps? because you are not supposed to do that, just do the missing apps/data.
I knew not to restore system apps since my TB came from my EVO. I only restored apps/data that I knew would be fine.

Recent issues with GMail

Anyone having issues with GMail recently? For instance, right now it is saying that I have 1 unread message, but it is literally nowhere to be found. Also, when viewing messages on the app on my phone the messages don't match what I am viewing on my computer. Also, I keep having to open both my regular inbox and important folder to clear messages. If I just clear them in the inbox, they will still show as unread messages in my important folder until I manually go in and mark all the messages as read. Man this is so dumb...

Sms and mms

Where are deleted sms and mms files stored, even after a reset? I have been trying to reset my phone but no matter what I do I can recover all me deleted messages with GT SMS Recovery. Is there some way I can find out what directories this program is scanning, maybe something like alogcat will tell me what directories are being scanned?
I have already deleted my mmssms.db and anything found that resembles it and cleared my text logs in my mms app. Im just curious where this app keeps pulling up deleted sms messages from.
