I am looking for a txt msg reader. Has anyone found one for WM6.1? I am currently running DCD's latest.

So I noticed that Voice Speed Dial is removed from DCD's ROM.
Anyone know how I can get it back? Is there a cab somehwere I can find to download and reinstall it? Or a better, alternative program?

Maybe I'm an idiot... but I dont see which CAB I need to download there.
Also, I know about MS Voice Command, but I'd rather not pay for something I had working perfect for free.

I used this one.

I personally like the voice speed dial much better than the Voice Command. Voice Command takes up about 2.5 meg of ram and works about 80% of the time. I guess voice command just does not like my voice because it always wants to dial another number. I like voice speed dial because it seems to work every time and uses little memory. Chad

how can i get that program, which i have and works great when i press the button on the phone...to work from my bluetooth headset?

Seconded, I wouldn't mind checking that out... I'm using the MS Voice Command, which I like because it doesn't require training voice tags and find it works really well through Bluetooth, but it is overkill because I don't need it for anything other than dialing (I could probably use it for more if it DID more, but it's only half-integrated, it seems).

Get the Cyberon Voice Speed Dial... this is the OEM which DCD takes out of the ROM.... the CAB is available on the PPCGeeks website.
I got it working back to normal again, although the button assignments get kind of screwy, but they still work.
CAB fixed mine
I am on the newest DCD ROM and the voice dialer worked but only the dialing part, not the application launcher or settings. I grabbed the Cyberon CAB and installed it, did reset like it said and all is good.

Surely, i'm missing something. I can't use voice command on my lg style i or any other headset, apparently there is no software on this ro m to do so. There's not even an option in contacts to add voice tag. Can i download the necessar software somewhere? Any feedback is appreciated.

If you have an american accent,then microsoft voice commander is probably a better software, as it does not require any voice tag to be created.

I was really looking for something free. The software from the factory ROM would be fine. I don't know the name of the software and can't find a download.

Have you looked for it in the addon ?
I have the .cab file at home if he doesn't find it he can pm me and I'll email it to him. The HTC voice dialing s/w that is.

Didn't find it in the addon either.
I found it.
Just installed it, haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it looks identical to the on on the fator rom. Here is the link.

It was considered warez? I thought it was a cab included with the Diamond Roms and therefore not warez... I will have to go back and re-read over all of that.

I'm pretty good at searching for my answers & 95% of the time i find them. but i cant seem to locate the answer to this question.
I can send or forward a text to 1 person at a time with no problem. but i cant forward or send the same text message to multiple people. when i do, only the first person receives the text & no one else... i am running dcd 3.2.5... i have also encountered this before with the other dcd roms...
does anyone have a solution to this?... PLEASE!!!!
You have to put a semi colon in manually before you add each name....
Name ; Name ; Name etc.....
Wouldn't it help you and the forum best to actually elaborate upon your issue in the title? Just a bland question is actually a lottery for trolling of hits on the thread. ...just my two cents..

I do know that the latest rom does not include the latest Arcsoft MMS software. I'm not sure if it effects anything. You definitely have to put the semicolons in between the names. If that fails and you want MMS... download and install the following.... Arcsoft MMS 5.0.31.25

I have the same issue and has nothing to do with semi colons. It auto populates them when you select another contact. Only the first person gets the sms. I posted this in the DcD thread tonight. I came across it this evening when I was trying to send multiple contact sms's tonight. Bummer, but I am sure there is a fix.

So your saying with the latest Arcsoft from GC14 that you cannot send to more than 1 person???
You've installed something that is messing with the SMS.
Now in portrait mode I have no issues with selecting up to 16 people per SMS, and 10 in MMS. In landscape, I have to add the semi-colon after each name manually..... I am on 3.2.5 with the 3.42.50 radio.......

This works... now is there antway to have the semicolons entered automatically when sending a text to multiple people?
Well I founf a fix! quite simple. Go to start settings and input. select word completion and check all three boxes and now the semi colons auto populate. I forgot dcd disables this by default.

Keep getting an "Oops" error trying to activate visual vm on the Radar on TMO. One support tech said that I needed to DL an app from the marketplace. Next tech said (more believably) that there is a known problem activating on some Radars. No fix yet, apparently.
Anyone get it to work?
