This is really making me mad! Ok so I downloaded Round 4 Reloaded off Scott's website and everything worked fine until when it was flashing- it stops before 1% and says "there had been a connection error..." Everything works fine with my phone and it is syncing properly so I don't know what the deal is!! Please help me!
what SPL and radio are you running?
maybe try flashing via the SD card method
radio and spl version would help.
Exactly how do I do the SD card method- I don't want to screw anything up??? BTW< I have reinstalled Active Sync and Hard- Reseted my phone a couple of times with no luck at all.

did you run hard-spl from the .bat file or from the ruu util?

yes, we can help you if you actually tell us what version bootloader you have, that's always a good place to start.
you'll find the bootloader version written on the screen; it'll be SPL-X.XX

oh, easy then;
go to the Hard-SPL thread, download the latest Hard-SPL.
update your SPL with this new Hard-SPL.
re-enter bootloader mode (should now say 1.30.Olipro) and flash any full ROM to the phone (recommended that you flash the latest LVSW WM6 ROM from the WM6 forums)
maybe your OS is vista?

when you try to update, you select 1.11 yes?
i have tried the hard spl 1.30 and checked the 1.11 box
it recover from the error, but when the program begins the update to SPL 1.30 i get the error [286] update error.

ok, let's try this then;
rename the RUU_Signed.nbh in Hard-SPL-V4 to HERMIMG.nbh and put it on an SD card.
put the SD card in your hermes and reload the bootloader (the buttons and stylus)
it should offer to update the SPL via this method. if it works, let me know and we'll move onto the next step.

ok, go get a full ROM Update... a WM6 one by lvsw wouldn't hurt.
do the same again; extract the RUU_Signed.nbh (or whatever.NBH)
rename it to HERMIMG.nbh and put it on the SD card (remember to delete the old HERMIMG.nbh off the SD card if you haven't already)
pop it in your hermes and let it update.

if you've flashed a radio then you should have it working again.
do you have a pincode on your sim card? do you know it? can you try changing it?
ok, the gsm problem persists. damm

move to a better area... the GSM is working fine clearly, you can try flashing 1.38 to it and see if that improves it.
if not, set your phone to GSM only from the band menu... clearly 3G is crap in your area (I hope this is 3G)

just flash it like you flash anything else.
everything you flash is always an NBH regardless of what's inside.
best version to get is 1.38... if you used the latest LVSW you probably already have it; go to the Device Info section in the control panel and find out

I have a g4 which is a bit dead right now.
Basically I have been playing round with trying out different roms. Its CID locked so I have been using shelltool.
On my last flash, something disrupted it and I had to disconnect. No when I turn it on it hangs on the splash screen (o2).
So what do I do now?
I tried downloading the original software from o2 and ried flashing that with the update facility whilst in boot loader mode and it comes up with a 300 error saying i need an updated update thingy.
Can any one suggest anything? Thanks

IPL and SPL are not touched, I can not answer if you would be able to go back to your original ROM, and agin: when I tried to flash my Cingular "Original" or "official" ROM from the Cingular site my Extended ROM was wiped, so as today I can flash the original ROM but my Ext ROM went to limbo.

I currently have a Verizon Wireless fully flashed to cricket XV6800. I decided to know about hacking the Mogul so what I try to do was Look up WMDC 6.1 and apply it to my phone. When i did this the screen stopped at 11%. I took out the battery and tried to turn it on and i get a Red, Green, and Blue color on the start up screen. The words that are on the phone are TITA100 SPL-1.20.Olipro and on the bottom it says USB when connected and Serial when not connected. I looked every where to and figure it out how to get my phone back to the same way. I downloaded so many programs like Titan Unlocker, Titan exitbl, but all these programs do is say my phone is not connected when it is connected. I hear the Sound when the connection for the USB is connected and disconnected. What can i do Will i ever get my phone back to the same state that it once was. I was wondering also that since my phone was flashed that the software will be erased. Is there any way that I can get my Cricket Service. By the way before i did all the hacking what i did was back everything up on the memory card. Is there a way I can restore that through the phone even though i cant access the menu?

if u are using xv6800.. i believe u have to install bootloader 2.40 or 2.47.. maybe that might be the problem when installing wm6.1
First, your phone is not bricked.. bricked means broken.. unfixable.. a brick!
You also need to let us know what you software you want to run... DCD 3.2.6?? WMDC 6.1 is Windows Mobile Device Center.. it's not a rom?? So I dont know what you tried to flash.
You need to read the instructions!! Sounds like You upgraded your rom (or tried to) with a non compatible bootloader.. if you dont want to bust your $200 - $500 phone perminently.. you should read the directions twice.. (I read them 4 times, then asked questions before the first time I flashed mine)
When you plug in the device and hear the usb sound.. check device manager.. make sure you see a usb device.. Your OS shoul have installed drivers... Then try the info below.

I can't seem to connect my xv6800 to the computer so I can run that program.

Then you need to get a Rom and radio compatible with SPL 1.20.. You'll need a SD card thats Equal to or less than 2GB (NON SDHC)

You can also try a another machine that may recognize your phone.
What did you actually try to flash your phone with, and how did you do it.. this is important to help you.
Download DCD 1.6.10 and flash it to your device with the SD card method (Instructions and links in my previous Post) I couldnt find the rom, but I downloaded the kitchen and cooked a rom that should work for you.
Download it from my webserver here:

Remember you need a proper SD card for this.. if you don't have one, you'll need to buy one.
After flashing this rom.. Assuming your radio is compatible... You should boot into the OS (forget making calls or getting data connection) Just download SPL 2.47 and execute it on your device.. once the SPL is upgraded, Flash the newest Radio, flash the newest rom, run the carrier cab, install aplications..

okay so what I did was cook up a ROM and then added the Radio 3.37 from alltel on it. I restated the phone and waited the windows mobile 6.1 load screen did not change I moved my keyboard and the sound functioned. I did a restart a hard reset everything I believe it is something with the rom. Any suggestions?

Okay what i have done now is loaded my own personal ROM and then added 3.42.02 Radio to it. The only problem with that is that it keeps restarting and restarting its really weird. Is there any way that i can fix that?

do you have one of the correct bootloaders? because just flashing to a custom rom and adding a new radio doesn't give you the bootloader that you need so you have to have that too...you can check it by holding down the power button, the camera button and inserting your stylus into the soft reset hole at the bottom of the phone and to get back out of it just do a soft reset but it needs to be be either 2.40 or 2.47 not 1.20 or anything else

Usually that means you have the wrong build of MSVC installed use build 19209...

if you now have the correct bootloader and radio...try flashing with a pre-cooked rom like dcd 326 or the rom from the links that i gave you...the popular one was the black pill and there is one that's specifically for cricket

I included links, and all the information you would need.. (Like the Rom/Radio/SPL compatibility list) yet you didn't read it.
I spent time finding those links, downloading a rom.. cooking it for you, and uploading it to my webserver so you can download it.

I also explained that once you boot into windows with that rom, you need to upgrade your bootloader to 2.47 (with instructions) and then your radio, and then rom.
The path was simple..
Flash dcd 1.6.10 (compatible with SPL 1.20) so the phone will boot
Upgrade SPL (bootloader to 2.47)
Flash new radio (3.47.50)
Flash new Rom (3.2.6)
Run carrier cab.
If you are still asking about where to get the (SPL) bootloader.. I guess I cant help you....

No, you can flash it over ActiveSync.
About stock ROM; with aria ROM do you have? do you have a branded device?

What my main concern is however, is whether you think it's possible for me to install Windows 7 on this model or do I have to go to an older ROM and SPL version to achieve this.

Ass for I know, to be able to install WP7 ROM on your HD2 you will need HSPL. And probably you know it already, but stock ROM 3.14 isn't compatible with HSPL, so yes you need to downgrade your stock ROM before.

So..
1. I got ROM 1.66 with Radio 15.30.50 from HTC forum and installed in order to downgrade my ROM
2. After that I flashed HSPL2 and selected SPL-2.08.HSPL
(After this it showed phone was hacked successfully and after it rebooted I can't get past the hanging white screen)
3. I *ignored this* then switched off phone and got into boatloader again and ran MAGLDR112 and the RUU loaded up to 100% and booted up but again it still hangs at the white screen stopping at the htc logo. That's when I thought probably step 2 was where I had hit a problem...
4. After a couple of attempts I decided to put it back to the 1.66 I got from HTC forum so I can use phone for the meanwhile
- I have been following the threads, and a lot of people seem to suggest that the white screen is something to do with having the wrong radio version. (Do you share the same thoughts or have I gone completely wrong elsewhere in your opinion?)
- And if it is a radio issue which do you think goes best with the MAGLDR112 and LEO70-ROM
- If someone could paste a link I'd be happy to follow it up

Not right sir, even if you install stock ROM over ActiveSync it will upgrade and also downgrade your SPL version.

Stock ROM 1.66 have radio 2.07.51 integrated; but Android builds needs minimum radio 2.08.50 so before you install Android upgrade your radio.

You are right about that. I stand corrected. This was proven through my tests yesterday. In the past, with my Athena, it worked differently.

2.07.50 also worked fine for me for WinMO 6.5 (Energy), Darkstone SuperRam 1.5 and WP7. In fact WP7 NAND & Darkstone from SD ran fine with MAGLDR112.

Worked like a charm. I put on Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14** from one of the threads and from then on I then put back SPL-2.08HSPL and then loaded MAGLDR112 and it allowed me to access bootloader and from there I loaded the DWI file for Windows 7. Everything became kinda self-explanatory after following your help... Awesome, Windows 7 rocks... Off to activate the live services...
I've searched about trying to fix this on my own, but i have a feeling i may have caused more of a problem.
so trying to move back from android with a HSPL, i managed to install the original rom, but couldn't get rid of the CotullaHSPL when i flashed the new via USB.
so i looked for a Radio fix and ended up using the RUU_SIGNED.nbh radio from the same pack i used to install the rom
RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship
Radio i am on now is the SPL-3.03.000 XE.
So after i installed it it says "software update failed, please try again."
attempted to try boot and keeps saying the same thing. Went into MAGDLR to try and reinstall the same Radio again after a soft reset and it comes up with 00028002 with NOT ALLOWED underneath this error number.
i attempted to reinstall is the rom, but not it just keeps stopping and telling me i cannot.
Any help on this would be amazing, not sure whether i should try a task28/29 or whether there is a simple fix to this problem.
i didn't install the rom off the SD card, but i did install the Radio off the SD card.
it needs to go back to the original rom so i can claim warranty because of the touchscreen!

hspl thread, post 1, hspl can only be removed by flashing stock rom from SD card or by using the hspl.exe utility.

that's the whole rom radio and spl, not just a radio. It will have flashed the radio when you did the USB flash.

that's not a radio, that's spl 3.03.0000 which goes with 3.14 roms.
So after i installed it it says "software update failed, please try again."

the leoimg.nbh you mentioned can't be from the rom you posted. I'm gonna assume (because the outcome would be what you have now) that you flashed a stock 3.14 rom from SD, and step 1 is hspl being replaced by the stock spl for that rom, , in this case 3.03.0000,, then the phone reboots to start the flash, but because hspl has gone only the stock roms that match your phone will work, hence getting flash failed.

Correct stock rom. Must match country and provider, example mines from o2 UK, so only o2 UK stock roms can be used.
The rom you posted the name of, see it says "HTC wwe" well the HTC bit means it's unbranded,example bought from carphone warehouse. If your phone came from o2, it would say o2 wwe
Oh and forget about the radio, it comes with the rom.
Bit off topic but once I've flashed MAGDLR can I ever go back to stock WinMO 6.5. I f'ed up and didn't SIM unlock my phone before I started hacking it up ( Hard SPL & MAGDLR)

figured that would be the course of action. Any particular stock TMOUS firmware I should flash.
Boy I sold my first HD2 about this time last year, just got a new one yesterday. And I gotta say WOW, this device has just gone crazy DEVn since the last time i owned it. Crazy things.
Doesn't matter, 2.10, 2.13 and 3.14 are the release versions.
