What ROM do you guys recommend? - Touch Pro CDMA

I have a Touch Pro (CDMA/Sprint) coming in next week, and when it gets here, one of the first things I would like to do is put a new ROM on it.
I currently have a Mogul (also with a custom ROM), but I am out of the loop when it comes to the Touch Pro.
All of the ROM's in the official Wiki are under the GSM heading (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_Cooked_WM6.1_ROMs), so no help there.
So, what ROM would you guys recommend?

Juggalos as well.

I have been loading roms on my touch pro all day. I would have to say juggalo's rom is the fastest and most stable. definitely recommend it.

Mine ;c)
If your on VZW!
www.scottcrosler.com for details!
I also got a beta 6.5 IM going to post shortly if anyone wants to play (VZW!)

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I went ahead and downloaded Juggalo's rom which I found over at ppcgeeks, but I will also have a look at what you've got "cookin" scrosler.

I liked Juggalo's ROM, but it was a bit too buggy for me. I found Juicy 4.7 to be the best ROM out right now for the Sprint Touch Pro

MightyROM 4.9
Its perfect!
And stay away from WM6.5 unless you either:
1. Know how to fix it.
2. Enjoy headaches.

FYI: Juicy is no longer supported.
I also like MightyRom and currently run 4.9.1 (the latest). Juggalo was fine until my WiFi started turning itself on for no reason. It could be something I have done and not the rom, but I run the same configuration on mightyrom and it never happened.
Ultimately, you should try them all and see which one you like more yourself.

Jugallo work fine for my telus and its quite an improvement over the stock rom. Not sure what other rom run for telus anyway.

Running Juggalo's on my Telus Touch Pro. No problems yet....

Thank you...

I've downloaded other ROMs, but always come back to Juggalo's........best out there for my needs.

I have a stock ROM, would getting Juggalo's ROM delete every other programs I have installed in phone and also contact lists and etc.?

Yes. Uploading a new ROM to your phone will erase anything that isn't part of the ROM. Programs will need to be reinstalled, but don't you just sync your contacts with your PC?

Juicy 4.7. Blazing fast and no crazy looking theme to boot.

Yeah, me too...

MightyROM 4.9.3 actually beats Juicy's 4.7.
Amazing.

jjlwork custom Telus ROM

This is my first ever custom rom that I am sharing. I used Dogguys kitchen with the leaked sprint rom and some customizations from DCD's Kitchen to create this. Let me know if you find any bugs or if you want anything added/removed and I will see what I can do.
Directions:
If you've already upgraded to any GPS enabled rom just drop the file in the Rom Update utility and flash away, otherwise the same directions posted for the other GPS enabled roms apply, you must install Hard-Spl 2.40 and the 3.27 radio.
Note: This is not packaged like other posters roms, I don't know how to do that yet.
http://rapidshare.com/files/87757193/jjlwork_Telus_BetaGPS_1302008.nbh
When you say it isn't packaged, what comes in it? Does it even have office or anything else? Can you use an mp3 or mp4 as a custom ringtone? Does the EVDO icon come on? Is everything working fine in it for a TELUS customer like us?
I flashed back to default because I loved gps, but wasn't ready to stay with it with those issues.
If they work, I'll use it.

By not packaged I mean it doesn't come in a nice little self extracting file.
You can use whatever windows mobile supports for ringtones
EVDO icon does come on and everyitng is working fine for me. It is basically the same experience as the offical Telus with GPS (excep it would have all the fixes that the sprint rom provides like bluetooth and alarm issues.
Kudos on the Telus rom !
We need more of em ! Not that i'm saying DCD's kitchen is bad or anything. It is nice to have a mix of choices....
But I find the leaked rom a little buggy ?

that could be because the leaked rom is still just a beta rom, not fully done this was just supposed to be released to official testers afaik. But maybe they leaked the rom on purpose so we could find more bugs?

[Q] Got a couple ?s about kernels

Ok guys ive been running AOKP milestone 4 for over a week now and am loving it. I follow the forums kinda closely and see most people are running custom kernels. Now ive tried a Glitch kernel while I was on TSH 6.5. Loved the speed and CPU tweeks, however as soon as I would flash it I would loose my 3G. Everytime this would happen. In addition to not being able to successfully do a backup. So I went back to stock.
So now that Im on AOKP 4 I see some of yous are still running a glitch kernel so I tried to put one one yesterday.....I saw the Glitch splash screen(BTW I am still trying to figure how to change splash screens ...so if anyone learned something new... ) and thats the last thing I saw. LOL It just froze on that screen. Had to go back to stock and rebuild.
So does anyone have an idea of compatible kernel for AOKP 4 with maybe an idea of what I did wrong.
Before you guys jump on me and tell to look on other threads, I have. I dont post unless Im truely stuck.

In order to get the Glitch splash screen you will need to Odin Gingerbread bootloaders.
As for you losing 3g, that tells me you're flashing the wrong version of Glitch. (or you're not on Verizon)
Ssewk2x fixed the nandroid failure for the most part in his latest test kernel as well, he has a Dropbox link up somewhere. Search through his posts if you need it. This kernel should also be compatible with AOKP M4 so it's your best bet.
I am def on Verizon. And as for the proper version of the kernel, I was simply flashing the same version everyone else said they were running. B5 V14 i think it was.
Whatcha mean GB bootloader?
i just tried to flash V14 B5 for ths build 6 which seems to be what others are running again, and yet again no 3G. cant find a fix for it. Oh well stock kernel for me for now i guess.

If you are using build 6 you should be flashing the kernel that specifically says it's for build 6.
Why are you flashing build 6 anyway? It's outdated by two releases, build 7 just came out this afternoon.
There's no fix for it because nothing is broken.
EDIT* I flashed 6.1 and i got 3G
No Im running AOKP milestone 4

Uuuhm, you can get info on how to do it here. Just don't use that param.lfs, I don't know what would happen. **** might blow up.
I haven't looked at this MOD for a long ass time, so I really can't help you there.

ROMS

I am kinda new to all this. I just inherited the thunderbolt from my brother bc my other phone is dead. I am rooted and s-off running santod's Official Thunderbolt ICS deoxed debloated. My question was if I am able to switch to one of the older ROMS like NuSense ROM or UnSense ROM or anyone for that matter that I feel like. I know the process of flashing since I have gotten this far, but I don't want to flash these and then be in some sort of loop with problems.. Thanks in advance:good: Also are radios universal or.. I keep seeing people say just try a different one?
You can flash any ROM you like.
As for radios, look in the post about the ROM, they usually specify what radio is best for that ROM. The newest radio is defiantly needed for the new crop of ICS ROMs based on the official OTA as the older radios cause issues.
Only thing I can add to the first response... Always make a backup first. So when you somehow get into a bad flash/bootloop situation, you have an easy way back to a working device. Also verify your download by checking it's md5 code before you flash. Almost (if not all) files you download will have it listed with the download link on the forum op you're getting it from.

It's not your phone but the Rom itself. That's a known issue with cm roms on this phone.

New to the DNA.. On Tmobile. Have multiple questions

Hey Folks,
Im new to the DNA and would like to take full advantage of this phone however I have some questions that I couldnt get clear answers about
Im on the 2.06 update and I know I can use Moonshine guide so i think I can pull that one off.
However, I remember reading that there is some type of package i can flash that will help me get MMS through Tmobile.. (not getting them now)
Also, what is the best sense 5 rom to flash?
What is the best 4.5 sense Rom to flash? Most stable etc?
Thanks in advance, all help appreciated, this is one beautiful phone. way better than a s4 imo

When I used sense 4+ I set my APN and gosms and MMS worked for me. On sense 5 I never tried, but I'd imagine its similar. AOSP it works on its own.
Best ROM questions are impossible to answer, try them out and see what works best for you.

like he said it is up to user opinion so im mine viperDNA is the best 4+ rom it currently just got updated to 1.3.5 and had a simple bug so they fixed it but you can only get the OTA of it currently and since you would be a new user you should wait for tonight when they upload the full rom zip here is that page. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2105745 sense 5 is not for me so i have not tried many of them but badseeds was fine as far as i could tell.
Great! Im on the superstock now.. its a good simple ROM. Im downloading Viper now the latest one.. I can just flash that according to OP instruction, correct?
Thanks!

Oh yeah forgot is a typo lol that's the right one flash the 3.5 one it is explained why is called that in the thread near the end by viz. Once it's Flashed and installed in system/about phone/software info it will say 1.3.5 or the 3.5 either way it's fine an ota might come out to fix it. If so you can then get that with the phones system update.

[Q] kit-kat rom with working wifi?

So I've been working on my dna for about 4 days now trying to get a kit-kat rom that has working wifi on it. But as I've read I don't think one exist. Can anyone confirm this? I was on a NOS rom before that worked perfectly.
Also, been trying to update my baseband (to fix wifi?) but nothing seems to work. I keep getting a fail message when the tool kits try push the zip through.
Error messages and phone details are attached.
Thank you in advance for any help and suggestions you guys can offer.

To varying degrees, WiFi works on all KitKat ROMs, with the exception of CM11 (at least that's been my experience). I've tried all of them, the two that I've found to be the best are Slimkat and AOSPA. Both of those worked best on my DNA.
As far as updating your radio is concerned, couldn't you use an app like Flashify?
In the end, I actually use a 4.2.2 ROM because everything works - and the WiFi/LTE is very stable. I currently use ViperDNA 2.5.2. Having the latest and greatest ROM isn't all that awesome if some of it doesn't work or is unstable.

Flashify? Thats the first time I've seen that. I look into it, Thanks!
As for Roms, this whole mess started when I wanted to get the newer "Video Highlight" Feature that allows you to add your own music.
Im going to look into some other 4.2.2 ROMS and see what I can find. Im really digging Kit-Kat though. If anyone has a fave that they like please let me know.
Thanks for the help, Yehudah!

My preference is ViperDNA 2.5.2. It's a Sense5 4.2.2 ROM with the Aroma installer. So you can install or not install as much or as little of the entire package as you like. I happen to like light ROMs, so I remove almost everything and only install stuff I use.
Haven't used any sense based KitKat roms, but I've never had a WiFi issue on cm or aosp based kk roms.
I use the viper 3.0.1 not updating to the newest version yet I'm letting them work some more bugs out.
