Greetings All,
I have been having issues syncing. My friend who gave me the SX56 stated that he peviously had issues also. Is it possible that the craddle or even the port on the phone has gone bad. My friend stated that at times the only way he could get it to sync was to hard boot it and start a new profile in ActivSync. Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem? Please help me out if you can.
Sincerely
Jeremy

Thanks!
I have phased this problem today only and I'm running WM6
Search and read. There are several threads with in-depth discussion of these problems after flashing the test (Cing 2.06 or WM6) roms.
Tried the forums..

8525 issue
I have had this same issue of my 8525 not 'waking' on both the WM5 and WM 6 on the original ROM and the more recent one from Cingular. I must soft reboot, this happens at least 1x/day sometimes more, and it is quite annoying. I never got this with my 8125. Any ideas?
i too had these screen locks with xda-live 0.20. Reverting to the cingular 2.06 rom actually resolved these issues for me. These issue for me were definately related to programs being installed on the SD card. While I relize that 2.06 has caused problems for others, for me, 2.06 is the most reliable rom. Sometimes my sd card still dissapears with 2.06, but it does not cause my whole pda to lock up and not wake up. Since I reinstalled 2.06, I had not been forced to soft-reset the phone due to a lockup.

After hours of digging through pages of forums and threads, I found 1 suggestion that applies to this exact problem:
Any program that appears on the "Today" screen should be installed into local memory - not a storage card. This seems to be especially true with some SPB products.
I never had this problem using my previous ROM, but tried this advice anyway. To my surprise, it seems to have worked. I used to soft-reset 3-4 times a day. I've now gone nearly 2 days without a single reset.
That one simple suggestion cost me 4 1/2 hours or scouring these forums. And people wonder why questions get re-posted??

Hi, im having a MAJOR problem with my HTC HD2. Every time i lock the phone, and turn it back on with the End button the touchscreen locks up and does not work. sometimes it goes on for hours, Unless i take out the battery which is getting quiet annoying..
I think its the New T-mobile Update, or could it be the HSPL? my friend said its software issues but im just not quiet sure, please help me!
DONT REPLY TO THIS THREAD, Instead, Reply here where me and others will post our ROM, Radio, and HSPL version.:

I had to send mine into HTC, and this is becoming a problem for many now, and it looks like it's growing. Try waking up with any other button besides the end key after a hard reset or battery pull, this is a temp fix at best, but occasionally it will still freeze. If under warranty I would suggest sending it in under repair and not mess with the new T-mobile update.
What am i supposed to do? Im using my Motorola RAZR until i find a fix or get a new phone which will be a very long time.
Hey,
I had the same issue, we should start tracking it so we find out a common problem, Try posting your HSPL version, rom, and radio in this forum and we can see if we can find a common solution.

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and I apologize if this isn't the right area for this question but I can't seem to find a thread devoted to the Pocket.
Mine is definitely in need of some help. It has restarted randomly a few times but two of those times it became completely unresponsive while booting back up. It would go past the At&t screen for a few minutes before restarting again but I was unable to get it to respond at all.The only was I was able to fix this was a factory reset. Has anyone else had this problem or have an idea of how I might fix this? Please let me know!
Thanks in advance
