On the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro a Fieldtest menue will be shown if there was entered *#*#364#*#* in the telephone mode. But it doesn't work an the Touch HD.
So I would ask if it would work an the S740 phone or not.

I've installed WM 2005 ROM version 1.50h. If there is new SMS , the device won't turn on automatically. What should I do ??
May be you can soft reset.
My experience with 1.5h: when I turn to flight mode ON then turn to flight mode OFF (to select another SIM in dual SIM holder) the radio will not swith ON. phone function is still off. I need to soft reset several times to see the signal strength.

It's not supposed to, it will play a sound, but screen stays off in case the device is in your pocket or bag or something.

In the previous versions from PZP I had problems connection to the Dutch T-mobile GPRS. I could only connect once to T-Mobile, after that I couldn't reconnect until a softreset. This is a common problem for many T-Mobile users with a T-Moble MDA Compact.
In my case the cause of this problem was definitely PZP, because after uninstalling PZP the problem was gone. Even a hardrest and install of a standard PZP as only program caused the same problem. I wrote to you about it a few times. For me a reason to not use PZP anymore for a while.
BUT NOW: I installed PZP 6.0 beta 2 yesterday and my problem is gone!!! I can reconnect as often I want, it always succeeds! Bravo Zendrui for the new architecture of PZP, I'm happy...
Only one question about the vibrate function: as mentioned I have a T-Mobile MDA Compact. When I choose a profile with the vibrate function this works fine. But when I press the speaker symbol on the Today screen it indicates that the ON button is selected instead of the Vibrate button. Is that normal (as said the vibrate function works fine...)???

leaving aside the dead or blocked pixels, I encountered an issue with my HTC TC WM6.1 touchscreen in the X (close button) area only - I know it still works, because the X flashes when I use the finger or the pen, it activates the phone and it even triggers a vibration response (when activated) but it no longer functions properly, as it doesn't close the programs anymore (don't think that the Close function is disabled, because it doesn't have the OK function either) and the window remains active on the screen.
It happened gradually, but al the neighboring areas assigned to other apps work just fine.
It's true, I spent some time tweaking, but I was carefull when modifying.
Have you experienced something similar? Can it be undone

i have a htc hd2. i am facing a problem regarding screen rotation.
when i open phone dialer the automatically rotates to landscape mode even when the phone is held in portrait mode. also the loudspeaker turns on automatically when a call is recieved or made.
same screen rotation problem is also when i start htc messages.
i have tried hard reset but it didnt help.
what rom? what model hd2 you got?

It really drive me crazy. And addition to that my home button doesn't work, when I lock my phone it works for opening the screen but when I open a program or somthing else it doesn't work. Any solution you know for these?

My HD2 touch screen has become unresponsive and I have used Pim backup previously on WM devices however because I cant get into the device to back it up using that is there any PC based free software that can complete the same tasks?

Not free, but SOTI Pocket Controller is a must have for these kind of problems. But for first use / install you still must be able to touch the screen, so if you can manage to the touch screen work once more (for intance by pressing the display and hardware buttons) this would be a good solution.
With Pocket Controller you'll be able to control your HD2 from your PC.
download and run a program called "MyMobiler" it doesn't require the phone to do anything but be connected and you don't to touch the screen.
i used this when my screen stopped working and needed to be sent back to htc.
