Allow you to use SDHighCapacity cards (up to 8 GB) with your device.
Windows Mobile 6.0 or higher required.
Windows Mobile 5.0 not supported!
Installation:
Do backup before installing!!!
Extract files
Copy two CAB files to your device.
Install SdkCerts
Install Cotulla_SDHC_StarTrek_Drivers
Do soft reset.
You should able to use HCS cards.
Download:
You can download update from my site
You are using my stuffs at your own risk.
I've tried it on my own device and didn't find any problem.

Sandisk 16gb Works
I can confirm that the Sandisk 16gb works with the new SDHC drivers. I was able to see all data on the card and play an mp3.

Someone has confirmed that it can work on other models like 577w,c600

Out of curiosity, how did you get SDHC working? I know a number of other xda-devs have tried and failed over the past year. You don't have to give us any big secrets, but did you actually develop new drivers from scratch, or did you finally track down another, similar hardware platform that had the right drivers?

thats modified StarTrek drivers
hi first at all, great work.
i have a problem with this installation an my normal non sdhc 2gb sd card.
after i have installed your drivers it takes a lot of time to load any programs that are installed on the sd card. are this driver just work correct with sdhc cards or also with non sdhc cards. i have formatet the card in fat.

Hi there,
I have an O2 XDA with the Qtek ROM (not the official O2 ROM). I have just bought a HAMA 128 SD Card. In my laptop's SD reader it works fine, but nothing happens in my XDA. In the settings / memory / storage card section in pocket pc 2002 it says NOT INSTALLED. Anyone who has an idea what the problem could be?
Please help me out because I want to install my TOMTOM software

Thanx for the tip my friend. I have already solved the problem in a different way. My father had an SanDisk 128 MB in his camera, i am now using that one, it works fine, the HAMA SD works fine in his camera also.

not only it formats, but scan & correct file enteries too.

Lexar SD-Card 256 MB doesn't work
Hi,
I've just bought a Lexar SD-Card with 256 MB, but my XDA didn't recognize it. It seems that no SD-Card is loaded. In my PC Card-Reader and a Camera it works fine. I also have no problems with a Traveller 128 MB-Card.
Also the StorageTools mentioned before didn't see the Card :-(
What can I do? Is the old XDA (bought 1 year before) not able to work with 256MB?

i'm not sure if its the sd cards or the xda itself!
mine sometimes dont recognize New cards unless i reformat them.
but mine also sometimes dont see my SD-CAMERA card!
after repeated re-inserts, it works fine. then stops again.
so im realy not sure What the real issue here.
however... since the cards work fine on a pc
re format them on a pc.... fat16. and try.
i hope someone else out there has the solution for us.

Seems that the Brand SanDisk works perfectly. Other brands seem to give troubles sometimes. That's what i have experienced.

I have found new drivers for SDHC but I don't have a SDHC card to test them
I have the drivers on my phone and my micro SD card is still working with these driver but I need to know if sdhc will work
someone pleace try and install this cab and tell me if your prophet can read sdhc cards after.

I tried your CAB on WM5 (Qtek 2.20.730 GER) and WM6 (k0ster v3 WWE) with a normal SD card about 1 GB and they aren't working!!!
I doesn't own any SDHC card!
After install, my prophet cannot read sdhc and also no normal cards
When i remove the cab the nromal card works again, but i want sdhc

Also I already SDHC driver tried out,SDHC not working , normally sd also(prophet v6, sandisk 4gb sdhc)
I have tried your SHDC driver and other SHDC drivers. But my prophet did not
recognise it..
I think it it the SPL not the driver, it need to be recognized from hardware niot software, hoping it will be fixed by software, but I don't think so

i found this one is 102kb (CAB file size) and yours is 67kb (CAB file size)

Seems all of the ASUS PDA (which runs WM5/6 and has SD Card Slot Only) has this same patch to make it support SDHC card.
C&P from Asus web:
A639 SDHC card patch (2007/06/26 update)
Improvement：
1. It makes A639 support 4G SDHC card.
Notice：
1. The patch is suitable for both WM5.0 and WM6.0
2. It needs to reinstall this patch into device after cleanboot.
3. ROM image upgrade could not success with 4G card. Only 2G SD card (including 2G) can upgrade successfully.
Can someone who has a SDHC try this out? (***Remember to do backup first, i don't want anything happen coz i ask others for a test.)

When i try the one gullum uploaded (SDHC_driver.CAB), it works with my 4Gb normal SD card (150x Transcend). but i don't have a SDHC to try.
Although seems it (SDHC_driver.CAB) didn't create a new Registry folder under:
HK_L_M >>Drivers >>SDCARD>>ClientDrivers>>SDMemory_Class
but with (A639_sdhc.cab) it created under:
HK_L_M >>Drivers >>SDCARD>>ClientDrivers>>SDMemory_Class>>High_Capacity

I just got a Transcend 8Gb SDHC Class6, tried the file and won't work. Normal 4Gb (Transcend 150x) still works fine after the (SDHC_driver.CAB) installed.
If anyone want me try any other drive that might work, pls let me know.

Cotulla makes one cab file for supporting SDHC in startrek . startrek & oxygen are similar in hardware . who now's , maybe you can use this on your device . please tell us about that.

Who can make SDHC drivers for SDHC micro with adapter or mini??? Please...
HTC TyTN is too old PPC like this SP...and TyTN supported sdhc card with drivers if I good remember....

Hi All - I tried to make a goldcard for rooting my HTC Hero (Three UK with latest ROM) over the weekend, but had no luck - it seems the memory card I own (an 8gb Kingston card from ebay, so may be a fake) doesn't work.
Can anyone recommend a memory card brand & size that will *definitely* work for creating a goldcard?

+1. The stock 2GB one is a known good one. Kingston 2GBs also supposedly work, but I can't personally vouch for it (never had to use one in anger- my phone came with HBOOT 004)

Yes the Omega is the Radar. Not to shoot before asking questions but it would seem you are not a veteran at the phone flashing game? A word of warning before proceeding with the HSPL Second Generation: Buy the Y-Cable, and use SD (I wouldnt use SDHC) Card rather than a USB flash drive, the smaller the SD card the better (I was successful with a Sandisk 256MB SD), also use a single card reader as opposed to a multi. These will get you best results, trust me, i tried everything lol.
