My herm 200 ,swisscom, has IPL1.01 and SPL 1.4Olipro. But always when I try to install Hardspl v7 it give me error 262 and only 0%.
Can someoone help me what to do because I want to flash new rom and new radio rom trough my SD card.

i would suggest reading this wiki page which might help you with that error. A recent thread that had a error with flashing hard spl here may help you although it is for a different error, you may still get some ideas on how to fix it.

I did read everything but with no success. always error 262. I have Win XP SP3 with framework 3.5 but I dont think that would be a problem for this error.
Have you tried putting the Free HTC Hermes SIM & CID unlocker on your hermes as this may be the problem or have you tried flashing it using the sd card method.
Go to page 116, post 1160 of this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722 . It will tell you how and supply ALL the apps so you can use the sd card... Easier and safer...

is it the same procedure to put a new OS Rom through the SD card? After flashing to Hardspl v7.

Bet you don't have Hard SPL on, do you?
You may have learnt the hard way why "INSTALL HARD SPL VER 7" is all over the Hermes forum...
If you have, then my suggestion would be to try to update WITH THE PC a stock rom from you carrier.. If you're successful, INSTALL HARD SPL VER7 from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722

Hello,
my Herm200 isn´t booting anymore. I see the CRC- Release splash-Screen and nothing more. when trying to flash a new rom, my pda stops at 1%.
When i try to flash from SD, i get the 00068002 error.
What can be done else to get the system back to work ? i tried several roms and bootloaders without success.
bootloader is spl-1.11.

I get the same error on my HTC MTeoR (Breeze) with SPL-1.07.0000 when the bootloader tries to find the rom update (BREEIMG.NBH in the root of a FAT32 micro-SD). Please help me too...
I can't believe that it's not possible to update via the sd card.

gio91ber, you'd probably get more help on the Breeze forum. Someone there may have figured out and posted a version of the Hermes Hard SPL for your type of mobile...

This will put Hard SPL on your Hermes with sd card method. READ THIS CAREFULLY asi it contain an extra couple of steps...

My Htc hermes phone keep turning off and on after i upgraded it to rom 3.54.07.06. that i downloaded from a thread on this site. I did the Power+OK+softrest and got the 3 color screen its shows IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.40 Oilpro . and connected to my computer but my computer isnt snycing withmy phone or anything plz help me T~T

Though I'd try to upgrade the SPL(1.40) to Hard SPL V7 (2.10) first.
Try connecting the Hermes to the pc after 1st making sure to untick "Allow USB connections" in activesync, put the Hermes in bootloader and run the RUU_Wrapper.exe for Hard SPL V7. After this you should be able to use the sd card method to flash your Hermes with any rom. You used an early Hard SPL that is unsafe to try sd card flashing with... Live and learn...

SD card flash....
1. Format 2Gb or less card FAT32. Copy .nbh file onto it and rename hermimg.nbh.
2. Insert sd card into Hermes and reset to bootloader.
3. Follow prompts...
If you are using the unaltered ROM, the radio part may take awhile to flash - DON'T RESET... This may cause irrecoverable errors in the radio rom causing you to have a permanent brick...

This may not work, that means you're looking at a permanent brick. You may be able to flash an OS only rom on but you won't be able to use the phone anymore.
hi everybody...i'm new on this forum and i don't have any experience with flashing roms...i have a Hermes with windows mobile 6 that doesn't want to go along with the upgrades(SPL for start).I read a lot of tutorials but no luck..booted the phone in bootloader mode:

i'm not the first owner of the phone...it runs well but i'd like to put wm 6.1 on it.
i have tried to hard spl, my phone resets in bootloader mode...the pc recognizes it but after 2-3 minutes it gives me an error( error 260)...
I am currently using windows vista ultimate 32-bit...please give me a hand guys...thanks in advance

for the SD card method you need HardSPL v7... you will have to flash it... not much else anyone could do with it.
thanks for the posts guys..from my last post i've flashed a f ew roms on my hermes without any problems..istil have spl 1.40..i guess the risk of bricking my device is bigger..i'm now lookIng for a clean 6.1 rom..without any preinstalled aps and crap i dont use...a recommandation would be nice

It's my first time I'm trying to flash my MDA VARIO II form WM 5 to WM 6.

But when I click Autodetect it says: Error! Unknown Version.

And is there Anything else to look after? I read something about CID unlock in the wiki, is this done by installing HardSPL?

First i would suggest reading the wiki pages as you may find something that could help, also it may not be detecting it as you do need to press accept or yes to run something on your hermes. although if it doesnt detect it you can see what spl you are running (press ok, power and reset button together) from there you can select what version you have on your devise it will also check whether hard-spl worked.

Hard SPL is installed and I read the wiki, but I don't get behind the CID^^
The question is: Is this ROM Above comaptible to my MDA Vario? And anyway what is this CID?

If you downloaded it from the Hermes section then yes...
As you have Hard SPL V7(?) (check if SPL is 2.10 oli), try the sd card method...
1. Format sd card FAT32. Copy .nbh file to it and rename to hermimg.nbh .
2. Insert sd card into Hermes and reset to bootloader, Scotty93 told you how.
3. Follow the prompts...

Hm i don't have an Adapter for the Micro SD Card, is it possible to copy the nbh File onto the Card using Active Sync, while it's in the Phone?
Edit: Hm n1 one I tried to formate my SD Card (Yeah I found the Adapter) but windows had an Error and now it hangs up everytime I try to access the card....
