Connection problem - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

Data connecitity does not work since yesterday. Was using Shep's ROM, tried NATF's 4.7 same result. Get a "cannot connect for unknown reason" error. Talked to att they asked me to remove the wap username and password in the connection settings, saying its not needed. Anyone has seen this problem? All the ROMs seem to have a built in username and pwd for media net.
Thanks

Thanks for the clue. Removing the user and pass worked for me. I developed the same problem yesterday as well and figured that someone here at xda would know what's going on.

Wifi problems new?

Don't know if it's just a problem with my phone or if anyone else is experiencing this, but my phone is getting frequent bluetooth disconnects, and wifi is inop and gprs can only go to t-zones website. My wifi is my biggest concerns but I did a search and could not find anything similar to my problem, because I have a mac address, my wlan works as i can find and connect to networks, but when i try to access the web the wifi disconnects
and the page says it cannot be found bad server or something like that. Never had this problem with 3.5.7a so i am not sure if something get messed up with the last flash and now just acting up. Also am on radio 1.50. running schaps 3.54b. Help please as i need this phone for work!!
I had a similar problem and there is a cab fix you need to SEARCH. I cant remember where I found it but its on this site.
I've searched and found nothing. Oh yeah forgot to mention I'm on tmobile. And i've tried lurchs cab setting for tmobile does nothing. Also tried custel's proxy remover cab, does nothing. Anymore suggestions??
Okay so i flashed back to cacahutes rom and wifi and gprs is working again. But i like the setup of schaps rom can someone please tell me if there is some setting that cacahutes has that schaps doesnt?? I'm thinking its something in the registry that's getting corrupted. Don't know where to look!

Error Code 67 help

I did a search but couldn't really find the same problem.
I'm a new Mogul user and just upgraded from the 6700 (kitchen).
I'm on a SERO plan.
Well I upgraded to Nexvision's ROM and Radio 3.27. I verified that the GPS works and I can place and receive calls. I can also use Internet Explorer and Google Maps.
However, whenever I try to initiate Internet Sharing (I prefer BT but would settle for USB) I get a "Error Code 67" and some message about user name and password do not match. (I even tried PDAnet with the same result)
After that - Data for all applications (PIE, google maps, etc) is messed up and I continually get the error. I have to do a Soft reset to get rid of it but every time I try Internet sharing, it happens again.
Any clues? If I can't make it work, I'll probably have to go back to my trusty 6700. I really like the Titan but Internet sharing is a must have.

You wont be able to get it to work...(correct me if I'm wrong) error 67 is the phone not recognizing the log in email and password you set on your sprint.com account. Since you can browse with your internet explorer (you can, right?), the phone shows that it has no problems logging in.
You can, however, use PdaNet and share the broadband connection.
try using wmwifirouter for internet sharing, you will not get the eror code as a result of tethering your device with a usb cable.
to get rid of eror code 67, read this post
http://www.sprintmogul.net/Forum/tabid/54/ptid/370/threadid/1333/forumtype/posts/Default.aspx
specifically the comment about disconnecting immediately upon connecting. worked for me.

I tried PDAnet and I get the same dreaded Error Code 67
So basically I get data on my phone, but I can't share it (tether)
That's strange...PdaNet works for me but internet sharing from the phone doesn't. Maybe you should try the solution posted above ^
Went back to Original ROM and verified Internet sharing works via the USB (didn't try BT but assumes that it would work too).
Not quite sure why I would always get the Error Code 67 with the upgraded ROM. I've read that a few others have had similar problems too but I don't think anyone has a definitive answer yet.
I really liked the GPS feature but for now the Internet Sharing trumps it in importance.

Internet Sharing suddenly stopped working

I am running dcd 2.3.2 with radio 3.42.30. Everything was working great until late last week... my Internet Sharing suddenly stopped working. When I say 'stopped working' I mean that it is no longer allowing me to connect via USB to my PC to get internet access. The PC does see it and ActiveSync pops up and when I start Internet Sharing it appears to work, even providing a 192.168.0.10x IP address to the computer. However, it never actually gets 'out' from the phone. On my friend's Vista machine, the little globe never appears on the network icon in the system tray. I tried a hard reset, a couple times, without success. I even pulled the battery for a while to see if that would help. Tried different USB cables. Tried changing the IP from mobile preferred to mobile only. My friend's mogul flashed the same is working, mine just stopped. Any thoughts?
Edit: PIE works until I establish Internet Sharing. Internet Sharing says connected but I don't get out to the internet and PIE will not work giving some message about "Page can not be found" until I disconnect from Internet Sharing.
I have persevered through the issue and have found a solution. I assumed the problem was likely DNS related because I was connecting fine, it was simply not showing as on the ‘Internet’ in Windows Vista. Once I connected this way with my phone, I was unable to browse even using PIE as I would get an error indicating the page could not be found. A little searching and I came across this DNS ‘speed fix’ post over at ppcgeeks.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=18435
I followed the instructions to change the DNS server entries and I was then able to tether just fine. So apparently, DNS was the culprit. However, I am wondering now what my default DNS servers were. I don’t see anything other than 192.168.0.1 on my PC when I check ipconfig information. Is there a utility that I can load on the phone to see what DNS servers I am getting from Sprint?
I would like to see what my friend who is using Sprint and not having a problem is getting also. If it is a Sprint DNS issue, maybe I should let them know about it and what the specific DNS server(s) are that are affected.

[Q] Problem connecting on sense based ROM with WiFi only

I am new so please forgive me if I asked a silly question. I have problem connecting (using WiFi only) on sense based ROMs.
* I used WiFi only. I don't have a data plan on my SIM card. SIM card is in the phone for phone call only.
* On all sense base ROM I tried I can not get browser to connect. On the other hand, all Cyanogen based ROM I tried I was able to connect.
* WiFi turned on OK, connected to AP OK, getting IP address OK. I can even ping the IP address of the phone from other computers on the same subnet.
* Starting the browser, and it will not connect to any webpage.
What went wrong? Is there some Sense specific setting that I need to do? I googled and searched this forum but find nothing that indicates what I have missed. I have puzzled me for a week. I would appreciate that somebody can point me to the right direction. Thanks a lot.

have you tried more than one browser? does email/ twitter/ facebook update?
This is confusing. Sorry I can't be more help.
Thanks for the reply.
The browser does not work. The other application I have tried is the Market. It is stuck at Google account login, and told me that there is some network error. Because I have not access to Market without network, I have not got a chance to try other applications, such as ping.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

[Q] Is it possible to have VPN on T-Mobile 3G UK?

I've recently got myself a vpn account with a US vpn server. I can connect fine from my desktop always, and only when I'm on wifi from my SGS 2. I don't think it's software related, because I can connect on wifi, so in theory (I think) I should be able to do so over 3G. Am I right to suspect that T-Mobile blocks or does not support the service? Is there a work around for that? Not that it's terribly important, just wondering.
I currently run CM7 nightlies and never managed to get this to work, never had the chance to try it with stock rom.
Thanks
What error do you get when trying on 3G? I can't even connect over WiFi...
This is the error I get;
Server hung up, The username or password that you entered could be incorrect, Do you want to try again?
Username & password are ok. I know that cause it works when on wifi
.
anyone knows the reason?
Thanks
