Bell 6800 Bricked! - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

I'm guessing my Titan from Bell mobility is Bricked. Freezes on the Bell logo when the phone turns on. Cannot turn off with the power button, have tried hard reset, tried taking battery off, have tried to get into the bootloader power+camera + reset, phone just keeps reseting and freezing on the Bell logo. I have searched for hours on this, but all I ever find is to go into the bootloader and that fixes other peoples problem. But, what if you can't get into it? Even Bell has no idea what is wrong with it. Any help would be appreciated

Hold down the power+camera while pressing reset and keep the power+camera until you see the tri colored screen.
Or left soft key + right soft key and press reset keep holding the soft key soft key until prompt to restore

Thanks, I've tried that many many times. But to no avail. I have done a hard reset many times, that works, but holding the power+camera+reset will not let me into the bootloader. When hooking it up to the computer, nothing happens. Have even tried the sd card with titanimg.nbh and still nothing. But the good news is, Bell is sending me a new one. But, it would still be nice for others if there is a solution to this problem. I have searched for days, but no answer. Once again, thanks for your time but, Power+Camera+Reset = nothing, frozed bell screen.

The file should be TITAIMG.nbh not titanimg.nbh

Hard resetting?

there is nothing in the wiki or anywhere that explains how to hard reset (unles i just missed it somewhere)
Not sure if they apply to the CDMA but here are the ones from the Wiki:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Raphael_For_Beginners
I use a variation of those on my GSM RAPH, try #1 to see if it works for your CDMA RAPH:
1) Hard Reset
- Turn off
- Press & hold Action
- Press & hold Volume Down
- Turn on
- Wait for TriColor Bootloader and release buttons
- Follow onscreen instructions
2) Bootloader for Flashing new NBH
- Turn off
- Press & hold Volume Down
- Turn on
- Wait for TriColor Bootloader and release button
- Start ROM Flash utility on PC. If flashing a RAPHIMG.NBH on SDCard, flash begins automatically.
HTH,
For my sprint tp, I've found the easiest way is with the device turned off, I press the vol. down then the center of dpad while holding both then press the on/off button holding all three untill the onscreen instructions appear.
this thing will NOT hard reset, its about to go HARD against the wall LOL
I get a window that says
"warning"
power will be turned off,
and you may lose data if
you have not saved them.
Do you want to continue?
if i hit yes it just rebbots, and obviously if i hit no it does nothing
just cleared storage and will try after to hard reset.
NOPE still not working, im holding the vol down and the enter key then pressing the power button on top and holding all three down and i still get the same message.
even tried it with vol down/dpad/power and noada zip zilch zero

Do you happen to have a Verizon Touch Pro, if so the only way to Hard Reset is to do Clear Storage under Settings, System.

htc mega does not start up

hello
my htc mega suddenly closed and since then it never starts up. the phone freezes when the htc logo appeared. i did hard reset but nothing.

thank you.
you make hard reset or soft reset?
If you want to do hard reset, you must hold together vol up and vol down and reset phone, still holding volume keys.

[Q] LG MyTouch: Locked out

Hey XDA! my friend is currently locked out of my LG MyTouch. The phone came out a little over a week ago so there's no forum dedicated to it yet, so I'm posting here.
She used a pattern lock and can't remember the Pattern nor her Gmail account or her password. With the past two Android phones I had, I would just Boot into recovery (Vol. Down & Power button), but this phone won't load into one. I also tried Vol. Up and Power. Nothing. I then tried both, but it went into the "S/W Upgrade" screen. Is there anyway to bypass this without having to send it back?
Thanks a lot for time guys! Hope you can help.
Hey daft
im locked out too, and cant find a way to do a factory reset :S did you solve your problem?if so..how!!
did a quick search for you. didnt render any answers. try existing methods for entering recovery mode.
1.volume down+power
2.volume up +power
volume up+down+power
the phone deff has to have a recovery system. once u get in there use the volume down button to highlight factory reset then push power
then highlight wipe data/cache and hit power. when finished reboot system now
hope this helps

also if you are familiar with adb you can navigate to adb then type adb reboot recovery
hello
Vabeach, thanks i've already tried all of those:S
volume up and power
volume down and power
both of them dont do a thing :S
and when i try the volume up + down + power....the phone goes into S/W upgrading... could it be that i need to do the upgrade and then itll let me do the factory reset? :s
Try this. Hold volume down and power. Keep holding until the lg logo comes up. Once that goes away release both buttons

finally
finally the t-mobile page decided to tell us how....
i tried the link but it wont let me post..so ill paste it
A master reset (factory reset) restores the original factory settings and erases all user data (including settings and downloaded content) stored in the phone's internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available).
Note: If the handset is locked, frozen, or unresponsive, you can perform a master reset using the hardware keys instead of the menu.
Note: Timing is critical in pressing/releasing keys.
To perform a master reset using hardware keys, follow these steps:
Back up all necessary data. See: Preparing for a master reset on Android.
Turn off the phone.
Press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys.
Wait 3 seconds and press the Back and Menu keys.
Note: If you see the LG logo before pressing the Back and Menu keys, the reset hasnt been completed and you will need to restart.
Release the Power/Lock key after you see the LG logo.
Release the remaining keys after the LG logo flashes (blinks once).
The Android Unpacking screen appears.
The phone will restart and complete the factory reset.
Note: If you unintentionally press the Volume Down, Volume Up and Power keys simultaneously, the phone will display a circle icon with two arrows and 'S/W Upgrade, Please wait while upgrading...' message. You will need to pull the battery and restart.
it worked on the first try!
happy holidays
Glad u found the answer

You've entered download mode which will do absolutely nothing if you're not connected to a PC and flashing something with Odin. What you probably want is recovery mode which you access by holding volume UP, home and power. Once you're in recovery mode there will be an option to factory reset your phone. Which password have you forgotten? If it's your SIM unlock PIN, this will not fix the issue.

[Q] Don't know how to hard reset

I'm trying to hard reset a GT-P7500 on Android 3.2 by turning it off and then pressing Volume Up + Power. But nothing happens... screen remains black.
What am I doing wrong?
Any alternative way to hard reset?
The tablet powers on normally when just pressing Power button.

I'm not sure if you mean to hard reset or if you're trying to go into recovery mode to access CWM?
Either way, a hard reset can be performed by holding the power key longer than the usual time to turn it on or off.
To access recovery mode, hold the power and volume down key if up didn't work. The android guy is downloading mode and the box icon is recovery. Let me know if this helps witha thanks:good:
Yes it did. Thanks so much.
